Due to a very hot hot weather especially this summer time, our risk of having a heat stroke is high. So we need to stay indoors if we have no important matter to do or if we can't avoid to be exposed outside, bring umbrella, or any protective gear. Drink 8-12 glasses of water, eat hydrating foods like watermelon, cucumber, coconut, oranges, and apples. What to look for when you are at risk? If you do a lot of sweating, if you feel tiredness or weakness, vomiting, muscle cramps, weak pulse or having a headache. How to treat yourself or someone having symptoms of heat stroke at home? Loosen clothing, sit in front of a fan. Drink cool fluids or sports drinks but avoid very cold drinks. Cool skin with cold water, or soak a towel in a cold water and put at the back of your neck or, take a bath. Go to the nearest hospital immediately if needed. But because we are in pandemic, it's better to avoid this to happen. And to pet lovers out there, please do not forget also to give our pets some water to drink for they become irritable and as we all know, summer is a peak season for rabies.
