Dulay
Wifey and her mother is on vacation right now in Cam Norte, her mother’s hometown. I told her to send me photos of anything I might use for my blogs and for noise purposes too.
She sends me this one. A communal water jug. It is a jar made of clay for holding water. The term in our dialect in Albay is “dulay”. I’m not sure of the term in Camarines Norte, for sure @Vin0 knows this one.
Dulay was our water jug when I existed in this world. We put our drinking water there. You wouldn’t believe me but it’s true. Mother finally decided to replace it with a modern water jug when I was 10 I guess. She broke the water jug when I always forgot to fetch drinking water (laughs).
This jar sent by my wife looks creepy though. I just don’t know why. 😁
Let me stay with you for a while before I will start my busy rest day 😀.
I am sharing with you here a photo that I captured almost three years ago.
My mother used to tell me that I have cold hands when I was a kid so she always wants me to plant a stem of flowering plant whenever she wanted to propagate it. As a kid we were accustomed to just obey our parents and not dare to ask (if you were born in the 80’s you can relate to this). I am not old. I am just classic 😁.
When I grew up and have my own family I also hear those words from my mom in law. I just figured out myself and this Santan here is a proof.
We all know that this kind of plant can grow easily but if the person who planted this has “warm/hot” hands (as they say) it will not grow.
I am not sure if I will have to believe that because if you just plant it without sprinkling water, obviously it will die. I am not a plantito I just like to plant anything that will contribute to the beauty of nature.
Santans usually have 4 petals and I did notice that this santan flower I have planted have 6 of it. It came to my attention soon enough until I started sharing this to my other socials.
Other photo of this was posted in my viewbug account.

What was that again? Three days had passed since my last noise. I don’t think I am missing something here. But anyway here I am again making my noise for this evening.
The photo here is a snip of what’s keeping me busy lately. You know my free time is now devoted to this project. This is my first ever squeeze page I have created for an affiliate offer.

Hey there noisy people. It looks like you are having a great time making noise with the new noise mobile app. I have not downloaded it yet because my phones RAM is very limited (laughs).
I am the only one in the house having an Oreo version of android. Yeah, it doesn’t matter as long my wife and kids have the latest version of android (arrgghhh 😁).
Anyway you may notice that I don’t make noise a lot. I am focusing on learning other things, affiliate marketing to be exact. I’ll be sharing with guys what I have learned just in case it has progress.
I’ll leave you with Choco for now. She always loves to sleep on my table.
In the meantime while waiting for payroll's text message... 😁
hindi makapag TGIF mamaya.. 😬😀
I was browsing some old photos of my cats to be used for making noise this late afternoon and found this one. He was really a kind of curios cat. As you can see in the first photo he was like watching video on my sons tablet and the next one was like he was keen to observe the fast moving up and down of the needle while my wife was sewing. Unfortunately he is no longer with us.
Are you a cat lover too?
I have just published an article in my website. The reason I wanted to post my contents in my own blog site was that I can have full control in monetizing it.
This is not just an ordinary blog post. It has affiliate links which I will earn commission for every purchase contrary to articles in read.cash which we are not allowed to add affiliates links of products we want to sell.
This is one good advantage of having your own website and wanted to earn passive income. It is literally making money for you while you are sleeping or having a vacation somewhere else.
I will be adding subscription letter soon just in case you wanted to be notified via email whenever I make new post.

Thanks in advance!
How’s everything in there? Hope the storm has not brought so much devastation in your place.
Today was another tiring Tuesday with me which I ended my shift beyond the allotted schedule. I used to call it OTTY. 🤪
I have been trying out other things lately, planning to create another YouTube channel with a different content. I have existing one with contents about technology and electronics. Unfortunately I can’t focus on making videos due to a lot of interest running through my mind (all but plans). 😁
This photo is a screenshot of my new project. I wanted to try turning my articles into videos. I know it needs time and patience, this is also the reason why I haven’t writing for a couple of days now.
I’ll be sharing with you the link to this video once done.
Have a nice day!
The rain has stopped, the storm has past.
Look at all the colors, now the suns here at last.
The wind is starting to make the trees dance around here and there was a sudden fluctuation with the electricity. I have my power banks ready, all fully charge and my pocket Wifi ready too.
Hope you guys have secured everything in there, especially those places with high storm signal. Nature is testing us again so better be ready with your emergency kits.
Stay safe noisy people.
It was a rough day for me this Saturday. You know when you left unfinished task the other day hoping that your team mates would get the job done but still untouched when you came back the next day. You ended up finishing it instead. 🤪
Anyway sharing with you few of my water droplets shots and these are my stock photos taken many moons ago.
Buenas noches people.
There’s a storm coming so be prepared and keep safe always. You know the drill. 😉
Browsing through my stock photos, I think I will need to start sharing my imperfect shots here 😄. I was trying to post a GIF image and unfortunately noise.app doesn’t have that feature yet.
Wakey-wakey sleepy head! The sun is up now. You may want to welcome Mr. Sunshine this beautiful Saturday morning. But it is weekend so most likely you will stay in bed for now trying to savor your rest day from a stressful week at work.
Anyway let me leave you with this for now as I need to prepare things for work.
Happy weekend!

This article might not interest you. I should have posted this on read.cash but as I have told you that I will be posting my contents now in my own website.
This post is kind of lenghty but this a real life experience. You may disregard this but if you have friends or family member who is kind of workaholic please advise them NOT TO DRINK ANY TYPE OF ENERGY DRINK. If they are drinking energy drink and you care for them tell them to STOP before it stops them completely.

If you have read it please comment in this post, I would love to read it. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking that Mr. Sunshine would not show up today because of heavy rain earlier at around 4AM. Either way, I would still go for a round with my bike as my weekly routine during my rest day.
Business as usual with this woman selling Empanada (breaded filling) while pushing her trolley.
Life may be easy to some of us while others are finding it hard to live. But living an easy life or the hard way depend on our own choices. So, never complain whenever you find it hard to live with your life. You always have a choice to make it easy.
Two days ago I posted “Might Be My Last Post” on read.cash (https://read.cash/@Bjorn/might-be-my-last-post-c7b4c1b3). The reason was, I have been planning to build my own website and it has come materialize only recently. I wanted to try something else and see if I can be successful in this field.
TheRandomRewarder did not kick me. In fact, I still received rewards with that post. I just want to make a difference and this is my choice. From now on I will be posting my contents, if not all, in my website. I want to see if I can make money out of it. I know I am too far from monetizing it and I will need to eat more rice 😁 (to learn more) to achieve it.
Anyway, if you are still interested in reading my contents you can visit https://larszig.com
Nevermind the darkness, we still can find a way.
Just enjoy your weekend wherever you are noisy people while me enjoying black coffee before grinding this Sunday. 😉

I was suppose to go with my son earlier today at UP, unfortunately I have tight sched and needed to submit reports today. He sends me this photo instead.
First pic is one of recreational place inside the campus. Second pic is my son, standing in front of the famous oblation statue.
I just realize how time fly so fast. He is now grade 10 and eventually will be going to college in the next couple of years.
I wonder if I ever had a chance to buy new underwear when it happens. The fact that prices are constantly increasing so as the tuition fees. 😁
I have planted avocado seeds a month ago and according to facts about avocado, it will bear its first fruit in three to four years. I am positive enough to think noise.app 's possibility to exist so I can post its first fruit here in 2026. 😄
I was tryin catch Mr Moon earlier today at 5AM on its waning gibbous phase hoping to find something new. Nevertheless its always the same. All hope in eclipse.
Now here I go again, I see the crystal vision.
I keep my visions to myself.
But it's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams, and
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell, dreams of loneliness?
Dreams – Fleetwood Mac
Trying to make my first noise here and I'd like to use the lyrics from the song dreams by Fleetwood Mac to blend in the scenery and so here I go again.

I Rescued A Disregarded Minolta X-7A From A Street Vendor
I was waiting for my wife at the pavement where my RS125 was parked earlier this morning. She was buying some veggies in the market.
I have been standing there for a couple of minutes while watching vehicles and passersby. Then I noticed a street vendor selling mixed stuff like old and used shoes, bags, toys, electronic gadgets and anything they think can be sold. This is common here in our place although street vendor like this are prohibited by the city government.
Whenever I see people like this I tend to check at the things they are selling. I know how hard it is to earn a living for this type of people so I buy at least. My family has had this kind of hard life during my childhood so I know how it feels.
I saw this Minolta SLR standing in one corner and it caught my attention right away. Just to be clear with you first that I am not a photographer and I don’t know about cameras. However I am kind of a techy guy so I am familiar with some mechanical and electronic parts of a camera.
I asked the old woman about the price and she replied to me straight. *“The camera is 1K (1000Php).”* You know sometimes street vendors like these are a little pricey when selling used stuff because they really don’t know the condition of the things they offer. For sure the camera is already broken so I asked her politely if I can see and check the camera and she responded yes.
As I held the camera, I immediately noticed the liquid thing dried out all over the casing. I suspected it was glue because it is how it appears to be. I thought that there might be cracks on it so someone might have glued it. Minolta X-7A as it clearly shows as the brand name. I never owned SLR before and even now I don’t own DSLR because I only got interested in photography lately.
We had a film camera back then, you know a cheap one for capturing moments on every occasion. You need to be smart enough in handling such things because if you don't, you might ruin all the photos being captured by camera. What I mean is you might accidentally press rewind or open the back cover thus exposing the film to light and destroys the entire roll of film.
Anyway, going back to the Minolta X-7A, I tried to ask the old woman if she could lower the price to 500Php ($10) at least then I will buy it. I don’t know where the camera comes from. It could be that it came from the dumpsite, lost or stolen stuff. So there is no way they can sell it as high as $20. The price I was offering was more than enough for a broken camera and could save their meal for that day. Then the old woman said to the kid beside her to text his father and ask if he would go with the price I bargained for. In less than a minute there was a reply to the kid's message and said he was okay with the price, then I immediately handed 500Php bill. She then wraps the camera with the plastic bag and hands it over.
A little later my wife came and I showed her the camera. She just said it was beautiful although she doesn’t know if it’s broken or not.
Since it’s my free time today, I spent the rest of my day reviving the Minolta X-7A. I am not so familiar with this so Google and YouTube helped me out.
According to camera-wiki.org, **Minolta X-7A** is a 35mm film camera, manual focus SLR released by **Minolta** in 1985. So this guy here is already 37 years old. http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Minolta_X-7A
After a few hours of cleaning, checking and testing while watching videos and other information on the internet, here is our guy now.
I was able to revive it although I have yet to test it with film. It is working perfectly as it should be.
Unfortunately, the camera flash didn’t make it because the thing that was supposed to be a dried out liquid was coming from the batteries of the flash. The juices come out and flow all over the components inside and all throughout the lens, thus, building up corrosions and even makes the casing fragile.
As you can see in the viewfinder there are red LED lights, meaning it is turned on and ready to take a shot.
The red light in front on the left side indicates the timer for automatic shots.
You might raise your eyebrows because it may appear to make no sense of buying a film camera these days because it’s obsolete. This thing here is already a thrash. But why did I buy it?
I have my own personal reason. Firstly I consider this one as a treasure already. Imagine how this camera has been within 37 years. I bought it as a personal collection too and for studying parts and functions of SLR as well.
I wanted to learn photography and I think it is pretty important to learn first its functions with manual operations. I also think the Minolta X-7A is kind of helpful for me as a beginner. After all, digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLR) originated from analog cameras - the SLR.
What can you say about this Minolta X-7A SLR? Share in the comments below.
Kind of Series of Unfortunate Events
I was working with my report in the spreadsheet for a couple of hours since I logged in at 8AM then suddenly the power shut off. I wasn’t able to save my work because the UPS failed too. In short, my PC was turned off right away.
I heard from the neighborhood that the transformer attached to a post in the next block had some sort of electrical short circuit, although the reason for the sudden burst was yet to be confirmed.
I was kind of devastated because every third day of the month is the deadline for my report and electrical issues like this take long hours to resolve. My work around was to go to the office to finish the task. However the weather was bad and seems to coincide with the scenario.
I texted my boss about the issue and then notified the department to which I will be sending the report that there will be a delay in submission due to sudden electrical outage in our area.
It happened at around 10 AM so we had our lunch with ring lights on. Good thing I have several power banks for emergencies like this. We are almost done with our lunch with fried boneless *bangus* (milkfish) on the table. It was paired with chopped cucumber soaked in sweetened vinegar, bananas and green *kamote* leaves, then the power resumed. Hallelujah!!
So after lunch and a few minutes letting my tummy digest the foods, I continued what I have started with my reports. Suddenly I felt heat on my ears and at the back of my neck. I also felt dizzy and started having a headache. I was uncomfortable. The heat keeps on rising until my face becomes reddish. Then in the next few minutes I have red spots on my neck and chest then it goes down to my arms. My skin started to become itchy. I was like having an adrenaline rush.
I told my wife to take a look and she was alarmed with my condition. I just have a food allergy. It happens very seldom but this is the third time I was allergic to fish food and it’s kind of different this time because I get a headache. Unlike the previous food allergies I have experienced, I did not feel a headache.
Nevertheless it was tolerable so I didn’t stop working because I need to submit the report before 5PM today.
A circumstance like this is not that serious and we can cure it with home remedies. I didn't research about the cure for such allergies but whenever I am having food allergies I take one tablespoon of sugar then drink cola. I have inherited this remedy from my mother and it’s kind of effective. After an hour my condition slowly went back to normal although I had to take ibuprofen for the headache.
Anyway I was able to finish my report and meet the deadline. It was kind of a bad day for me today but don’t you worry nothing serious happened with yours truly.
I am starting to sponsor users again so make sure to be active always. Don’t feel bad because the robot does not tip you well. Don’t expect too much. Just write.
I have sent sponsorship request to 30 users last week, sadly only 4 accepted the offer. Anyway just comment below if you want to be sponsored.
Maybe I Can Save The World
If you are able to be given a chance for just one wish what would it be?
The answers to that question of course will depend on the status of a person. If you will try to ask a homeless person with that question, I bet 99% that the answer would be to have a home or something like a lot of money to buy a house.
What do you think rich people would answer to that question, more money to come?
What about you? How about me? I’m not going to lie to you. Of course I would wish to have a lot of money but that money will be used to help the needy and for charity.
If a person has a lot of money, rich people precisely, what is it that they have?
**Power.** If you have a lot of money obviously you have power. You have the power to control subordinates using your money. But don’t get me wrong. You can use your money as power in a positive way. Literally speaking for example, if you do not go out to purchase all the things you need and just do all the transactions online, you have the power over those things. You use your money for all of those things and make it easier for you.
**Freedom.** If you have the power you have the freedom. Why, because obviously you can do whatever you want or go wherever you go, you have enough money so you will not worry because you are free.
So if you have the power because of so much money, can you become a hero? Yes, of course. If you are going to use your money to provide for charitable institutes or just help those people who are less fortunate or even act like Bruce Wayne, you might be regarded as a hero or a savior.
Today, August 29th, we celebrate National Heroes Day in the Philippines. This is to commemorate Filipino heroes and anonymous heroes of the nation who fought and died for freedom. But National Heroes Day does not have a name, not even one, because there are unsung heroes who are brave enough to fight and keep fighting for the welfare of the nation.
Anyone can have power and become a hero. It doesn’t require a lot of money to have a power or even have a super power just like Peter Parker or Tony Stark. All we need is just a brave heart. We could be heroes in our own special way.
When Writing Becomes Your Passion
**Why are we here?**
The question is for you and me who are not real writers and just want to make writing as a source of extra income. I have come to ask that question because I noticed that some read dot cash users whom I can interact with seemed to just vanish. But this question of course is an exception to those who have been writing for more than a decade outside this community. Obviously they are full time bloggers.
I just found out that some users who existed almost the same time as mine are no longer active. I just don't know if they lost their appetite due to smaller rewards or abandoned the account and created a new one.
When I joined this community I was so excited because of the overwhelming rewards I received from The-Random-Rewarder. Even Marc noticed some of my writings and tipped me. So I made a goal to write one article per day but since I have a regular job I wasn’t able to do that.
Before I learned about blogging, I was already writing some of my thoughts and views about life. You know I always take notes of some important quotes from books or inspirational lines I heard in movies. I started blogging in 2011 but only in 2018 I started putting my writings in several blogging platforms. I just realized that those writings could earn some cash when posted on the internet. So from then on I started looking for other blogging platforms where I can put my stories and earn until I found this site.
I have a lot of stories to put into writing and most of them are from my experiences in the past. So that’s an advantage if you know how to put those experiences into pen and paper. Sometimes I run out of ideas and stories to write but I don’t stop. I won't quit. Even my writings here are not being rewarded well by the robot I still continue. In fact I have been re-writing some of my posts here and posted them in my recently made personal website.
** *As you can see I am always adding the link below every post in my website. It will act as an affiliate link. I guess most of you are aware what affiliate link means. You will notice that I also have a banner, sort of an ads, by an online shop. That is an affiliate link too.*
Most people joining this community are of course entice by the site's declaration, **“*****read.cash is a platform where you could earn money. You could get tips for writing articles or comments...”***
Some joined even if they don’t know how to write, others take advantage of the opportunity this site brings. However those who are not really into writing lose interest and are unmotivated after a few weeks and only few last. It is really hard to write if it is not really your thing.
**What motivates you?**
If you know that you are not really good at writing but more than six months in this community and continuously writing, I congratulate you. You are doing well. *Just keep going*. Don’t stop. Disregard the rewards first. *Who knows, maybe writing is your passion and you are starting to unlock it.*
I have long wanted to become a full time blogger and earn income without a boss. You know, just like other people who enjoy financial freedom.
We all can be like them, we just need discipline and dedication.

We Should be Thankful Always
I have nothing much to share with you today. I just want to give thanks and praise to you guys by being with me in this wonderful community.
It’s been 17 months that I have been writing for this platform and I must say Bitcoin Cash has helped me a lot in terms of personal expenses.
It just feels great to recall during the times that I can rely on my BCH earnings for my parent’s medication. Then when I have had an accident and BCH was also there to the rescue to shoulder the hospital bill.
Bitcoin Cash earnings were abundant during my early days of writing and sharing experiences about my life. Even if no one seemed to read my not so good English, The-random-rewarder still able to reward me with a favorable amount.
Unfortunately, things are not always the way they used to be. Life is not always on top. It is like a wheel. Sometimes it’s up, sometimes it’s down and even passes in the middle.
Nevertheless here I am still sharing with you information that might be helpful to some of you if not all. Most of us know that Bitcoin Cash earnings here are kind of struggling lately but just like you I will continue sharing my thoughts and opinions to relate to.
Anyway I’m still thankful that this robot has still recognized my content and is still able to give rewards. To all those who are still with me here from the start no words can express how much I thank you. And of course to the people behind this project they should be the ones first credited.
The pandemic shocked the world. Most of us have financial issues but no matter how hard life is we survive by helping each other hand and hand fighting to live life.
Keep smiling...
Victimize by Circumstance
A week ago I posted about text message scams I am receiving with my personal mobile number.
Last Sunday I received another text message saying, “*Hello, reply to my rmail now: mtwgxx@gmail.com”.* I rarely received this type of scam message with an email address where to contact the scammer. I think this is the fourth time. I know for sure that all of these are scams so I just ignore it. It’s just annoying that these scam messages will just pop into the inbox without a clue of why they have our cell phone number.
But anyway my foolishness started to trigger me with this scammer so what I did was I created a dummy Gmail account then emailed the scammer with harsh and offensive words. The scammer seemed to not moved because after sending the message the scammer replied saying that he is **Mr. Stephen L. Coleman** enclosed a story telling letter**.** Oh yes, email autoresponder. It’s no longer new to me.
The message was this (in verbatim):
*Greetings,*
*How are you today and your family? Want to believe you are all doing great. I contacted you through this medium for a business that will benefit the both of us greatly, if handled properly. Am sure that we can conclude this in less than two weeks or less. And I want our communication to be basically through this secured email to maintain the needed confidentiality and also for safety and security reasons.*
*I got your contact through the Philippines directory and I contacted you through a secured high sms protocol services that connect to any local communication network available at its services. The message might come with an international number or a local number, the most important thing is that its objective is made and communicated for this reason…*
The letter consists of 820 words to be exact and I will not paste it here because this post will be flagged as plagiarized. I know for sure that his story was all lies so after reading it I replied with an Emoji showing two middle fingers. As of this writing I have not received a reply from him.
I checked the entire message with a plagiarism checker and it was 100% plagiarized then it leads me to a post that tells the scammer is **Matthew Little**. I scroll down to read some comments and to my surprise there are a lot of Filipinos being victimized by him and even given huge amounts of money. https://www.gripeo.com/matthew-little#who-is-matthew-little
Numerous complaints are sharing their experience with this scammer. I just don’t understand why some people tend to eat such bait without thinking of the consequences. Sometimes I wonder if those who were scammed are just stupid enough or that the scammers are just versatile and smart. The funny thing is some are kind of educated but still being fooled.
We must understand that things like these are all too good to be true. If such a thing is too good to be then it is not true.
Remember that there are only two people in this type of scenario - the fool and the foolish. I think the only way to avoid being scammed is awareness. Some people get scammed because they are not aware of what is happening beyond their knowledge. They would jump into conclusion right away with thinking or making aware first if such a thing is really true.
I was once a victim of scammers although it did not involved huge amount of money and yes I was stupid enough but I learned my lesson.
10 Weird and Funny Stuff Sold Online
**Online shopping has been a habit of some people due to its convenience. It became trending when the pandemic happened.**
People have different personal reasons why they wanted to purchase products or commodities online, mostly, due to effortless shopping. However some people are getting addicted to it even if it will cost them a lot.
In the same manner, entrepreneurs and business owners never stop producing products to offer to consumers. The funny thing is some of these products appear to be weird and tend to become useless because its no longer needed.
I have been buying things online since 2016 but I don’t buy things that I don’t need. Just like these weird things sold online that I want to share with you today which appear to be funny and useless in due time.
I just find it fun to make a post about these weird and funny things I keep seeing in my Shopee feed. So without further ado let’s get started.
**Disclaimer:** *The following photos may be disturbing or offensive. I do not intend to do so with this post. This is purely my own personal definition of how I see these products as funny, weird or nonsense. You always have the right to disagree.*
1. Tickless Giant Comb
Yes, it is the grandmother of all combs. It is 40CM and is being sold for 150Php. As of this writing 46 have already bought it and all appear to be satisfied with their purchase. What now? Don’t tell me they are comfortable to use every day. It's way better than a fly swatter.
2. Plant Hair Clip/Roasted Chicken Hair Pin
So you have bought this product for your classroom presentation or some event in your office. Then what comes next, keep it in the shoe box forever or wait next year for another event?
3. Middle Finger Mug
You wouldn’t want to watch that dirty finger every time you sip your hot coffee. It’s kind of awkward giving it as a gift to your colleague.
4. Poached Fried Egg
One of the fake products from the country who has the mastery of faking things. This may be useful for decorations or some prank. At least it is not useless.
5. Silicone Poop Tea Bag
Another disposable weird product. I don’t think this is recommended as a gift.
6. Shrek Pooping Toothpaste Cap
Not everyone loves Shrek. Even if you buy this for your kids I bet it will be useless for the next couple of weeks.
7. Adult Mug
Might be recommended as a gift for your pervert friend from the country who is known for acceptable weird things.
8. Pan Mobile Phone Case
158 sold as of this writing with high rating sold at 240Php. Yes, another props for some office event.
9. Toy Stress Relief
I don’t think my stress could be relieved by squeezing a dog poop. I am also a dog lover but a dog poop hater. You know there are a lot of irresponsible dog owners around here just letting their dogs poop on the street.
10. Earphone Holder
This may be the cutest weird stuff I have seen in an online store. You may find this cute but it is still weird for me. I just don’t know why.
So this is just 10 of the hundreds or thousands of weird, funny and even nonsense things being sold online. These might not be weird to some of you but may look funny somehow.
If you are a businessman would you want to sell weird or nonsense things too?
Dealing With Defective Online Purchase
What was your latest online purchase? Did you receive the product in good condition or a broken one?
Hello there, it’s been a while since my last post and I think this is the longest interval that I have not posted in this community. Well honestly I have to find other ways to earn since earning here is getting harder for me. Who else doesn’t need extra cash for necessities?
I have previously posted about building my website and yes I have been managing my own website for a couple of months now and I will make it as the main source of my passive income. So it's keeping me busy these days. To give you an idea of how to earn using your website just in case you are not aware of. One way is to add affiliate links to your post. You will just have to invest time, effort and some extra cash for the start then you will have your return of investment thereafter.
Anyway going back to the first question in my introduction, it has something to do with affiliate marketing. If you can recall my post a month ago with the title, **How Good Are You at Selling?** I mentioned that I am an affiliate with involve dot asia. All the products I am purchasing in online shops that are connected to it are generating commissions. So it is like I am having a cashback. https://read.cash/@Bjorn/how-good-are-you-at-selling-939d37ea
I purchased a Gaming headset for my son the other day. Unfortunately I was disappointed because I received a defective product. The left ear speaker is not working so I immediately message the seller. This is not the first time that I received a defective product. However I am not returning the item and asking for a refund because it will just take long. So I will just fix it since most of the products I am purchasing online are electronics related.
I am pretty sure that the issue could possibly be poor soldering with the wire on the speaker. This is almost the case with electronic products because these devices are mass produced by machines. It may pass quality control but due to poor soldering the wire connections could be loosen in the shipment. My suspicion was true so I ended up re-soldering the detached wire upon checking the inside.
I can deal with such situation and be patient with the seller if they are sure that their products are all good before shipping it out to the customer. But one thing I can’t seem to move on was that I was expecting a branded gaming headset as seen in the video and pictures. To my surprise they gave me an unknown brand that I had never heard of before. I kind of like a victim of false advertising or misleading information.
But instead of feeling bad about the situation I just told the seller that they should consider my complaint as a lesson and they apologize.
Buying products online is convenient especially when your location is a little bit far from malls. You will have to consider the time of travel, traffic and health risk. Unless you have your own car it is less hassle for the transportation. But in terms of the assurance that you will receive it 100 percent good, it is kind of troublesome. So you will have to consider checking the seller’s information, the feedback of the customers who already purchased the product, the location of the seller or might as well send a direct message to the seller to ask for information about the product.
Anyway I need to cut this post for now. I am just letting you know that I am not leaving this community. It’s just that things are not the same anymore for me here that’s why I am having more time in building my own website to monetize.

Get Rid of Rampant Text Message Scams
When was the last time you received a text message scam? It was seven days ago when I last received a text message from a number I don’t recognize. The message was asking me to register in the so called *larobinggo* app, and that the Jackpot is 5.5M with a lowest bet of 1 Php.
When I first held a mobile phone long time ago, I started receiving similar text message as I mentioned above. I can still recall the first one was telling me that I won 800,000PHp. Then included in the message was a name of supposed to be a lawyer and a number to which I can call for further instruction on how to claim the prize.
I was kind of excited but I was skeptical too about the text message and I did not dare to call or text the given number. In the first place I did not join any raffle promo or register for a certain betting game or sort of lottery, so I just ignored it.
I always received such SMS until today and it’s kind of annoying. Sometimes I would reply like “Thank you. I don’t need it.” Or if I am pissed off I would reply to very unpleasant words with dirty finger emoji. But even if you would reply to them they will never receive it because they are using a system generated SMS number for sending text messages. I don’t know what they call it but it is like using a free SMS app or website.
I can ignore all of those messages even if it just adds to junk messages in my inbox. But one thing that was kind of alarming was when I received a scammer message mentioning my full name followed by a message like “*(My name) Gusto mo bang makamit ang financial freedom? Sumali at idownload ang mybitglobal (link)”* (Do you want to achieve financial freedom? Join and download mybitgolbal).
I was like, heck! How did these guys know my name and my cellphone number? I think of the possibilities where they can get such information from me. Maybe some loans that I have engaged in the past or some organization that I have entered my name and contact. Perhaps somebody working there is connected to scammers that is why they can easily get information from people.
**How to avoid scam SMS?**
Smartphones these days have built-in SMS and call block features. You don’t need to install a blacklist app. All you have to do is to tick on the three dots in your default SMS app and look for a blacklist then add the number to be blocked.
**But how can you block random cell phone numbers from coming in your inbox?**
In your SMS app settings for blocked numbers, there are so-called “Interception rules” or whatever is the label depending on the phone brand. There you can add the most common keywords used by scammers in their text messages. In my case I have added the words BONUS, EARN, GAME, JACKPOT, REWARD, and MILLION. You can add as many keywords as you want but for me I only add those words that appeared in the scam messages.
There is no way that these scam SMS can be stopped. As for me this is the only solution I can do. Although I can still receive those scam SMS somehow it automatically be blocked depending on the restriction assigned.
Remember that we cannot be scammed if we will not allow them to scam us. As long as you did not give any of your personal information to anyone you will not have to worry about losing your money.
Don’t click any links or download any apps that you don’t trust.

A Chance For A Change
The usual protesters and activists have gathered in one place on the highway where they are permitted to show their contempt to the new administration. This is common scenery in PH whenever a President would speak for a State of the Nation Address.
I listened to the PBBMs first SONA last Monday (July 25, 2022) although some of his speeches were kind of blurry to me.
People have mixed reactions after the President ended his speech. Some praised him for the good news while others showed dismay, particularly of common people who are expecting for him to tackle a lower price of rice.
In my own understanding in general, the President wants to grow the economy during his term. He pointed out that for a long term solution, he would want to increase the production of goods in agricultural products. And to do this he would strengthen the so-called *value chain* that will start from farmers to consumers. He wants it to prioritize the modernization of farming by using new technology and to utilize science to increase the production in agriculture.
He receives a loud applause from the people inside Batasang Pambansa Complex upon hearing this. Honestly I felt relieved when he said that although the administrations that have passed of course were able to give importance to agriculture but I think it was not enough.
There are a lot of important things that the President wanted to accomplish and they sound promising just like past administrations. But what he had just said to the people this time is quite different from the rest but kind of similar to his father Ferdinand Marcos. He talks about renewable energy and that according to him it is time to re-examine the building of nuclear power plants in the country. Note that former president Ferdinand Marcos decided to build the nuclear power plant in Bataan in response to the oil crisis in 1973.
Other things that he tackled were about tourism which he wanted to build additional airports and construction of roads to reach the areas where tourism can be promoted. He also wants to give importance to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). Note that OFWs have significant contributions in the country’s economy through remittances. Digital education, territory and tax reform are also included in his SONA.
Another thing that he received loud applause was when he mentioned the Mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps or commonly known as ROTC. I remember I had undergone this training back in college. The purpose of this is to prepare every male citizen when the time comes that the country will need their service. Note that mandatory ROTC was abolished in 2002 when a student in a certain university was killed due to exposing the anomalies in the training corps.
Overall for me so far, his SONA was satisfactory although some people tend to cite the lack of some areas they wanted to hear. For example human rights violation, war on drugs and lower price of rice.
I hope that he can possibly achieve what he wants with the country and of course with the cooperation of every citizen. The country has been longing for relief or at least has a good quality of living under his terms. I hope that we can expect what the President has said in his first SONA. We are so tired of promises or sound like sugar coated words in the past administration.
Nevertheless we must not forget that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr is a son of former President and dictator Ferdinand Marcos. But we can give Marcos a second chance for a change.
