Okay question ❓❓ I am planning on opening a kicking account for my 16year old sun and putting 10 dollar 💲 on it and tell him....now you learn about crypto and how to trade up. Is this preparing him for what will be normal in a couple of years time....or am I setting him up for a crypto addiction? He's already interested in crypto and trading....and i even explained him the difference between a good and a say lesser project.... explaining the difference in a coin that has a use case and one that does not. What do you think 🤔 is 16 to young? #Cryptocurrency

In my case, I have a 7-year-old daughter, I am thinking of opening an index fund for her, so that she begins to discover for herself the power of compound interest. The topic of crypto knows it, because she watches what I do during much of my free time, but she is still too young to understand it. In your case, with your supervision, I see well that way of entering the world of cryptocurrencies
Thanks and yes he brought up the topic himself and i was kinda surprised but it seems that they really talk about it with friends already at that age

Makes perfect sense....and my boy is a smart serious guy when it comes to money.... But it's a little scary but better to tutor him now then him fluffing it up by himself
16 years old is a great time to start learning crypto, and other personal finance concepts too. Please don't forget to teach him about how terrible debt is, and how if you save money and get interest on it, you can multiply your earnings year after year.

Yep, me too. Debt sucks, but I keep acquiring it. (Stupid credit cards!) Wish I could practice what I preach!
It took me years to get rid of that credit card debt, but it´s finally done
Congrats! I have eliminated our credit card debt many times, but then my wife finds something we can't live without, or some "emergency" strikes, and then the stupid debt returns. :-(
