Oh fudge! My tipping ability here on Noise seems to have been revoked? Anyway ..... that was a very good article. If we KNOW that a regulated market like stocks can be manipulated, (just ask Jim Cramer!), then it's a certainty that an unregulated market like crypto is being manipulated. The question then becomes do you try to beat/join them at their own game, buying the dips and selling the peaks, or do you play the long game and HODL? HODLing has done very, very well for me regarding stocks, so it is the approach I am taking to crypto.
I fully agree and the revoke is probably temporary. I play both games....as only the hodl game is just a bit boring and it did very well for me so far. I wonder how it looks in a year or 2 but for now I join them and trade my soul away... while my pious self has a hidden hodl wallet.
I hate to toot my own horn, but check this out: https://noise.cash/post/ln7g8z29 . I committed the sin of liking a renoise of one of my own posts. Supposedly there is a rule or something against this somewhere, but I was responding, (I thought!), to the comments on the renoise, not the renoise itself.
Lol.....if that is the case I will burn in hell....I love tipping myself that way ...and F.... the rules.....I think I will be an anarchist or an antichrist when I grow up
Grow up? Fuck that shit! I'm 62, going on 15! So you knew about this little trick? Weird, isn't it? The folks who say it isn't allowed, also say they read that in a post from the admins somewhere. If it's buried in some silly post, then it doesn't exist! I don't see anything in the rules that prohibits us liking renoises of our own posts. I think the key is that if there are comments added to the renoise, then we can plausibly claim we were liking the comments.
Fuck all Kaka and indeed comments from an admin are guidance not rules..... We read the rules we follow the sheep, butt if your software is flawed and you do not explicitly put out a warning...like cigarettes are bad for you....legally you have no claiming rights.
