It´s over 1K on 1 exchange in 48 hrs and as I do not want to do the math for my full portfolio but trust me it will be 5K in total over the last 2 months
Unfortunately I have to agree with you. if loosing $100 is a rounding error, then loosing $1K is just the minimal amount to qualify as a "loss". When you start to lose 10K or more, then things start to get interesting.
Yes. But try explaining that to folks here, many of whom don't even have a bank account. If I tell them I have $100,000 in a retirement account, they think I'm a Rockefeller! But we know that if I started to spend that $100,000, it would not last long.
All around the world we seem to be separating into two groups of folks, those with a lot of money, (over $10,000,000), and the rest who even if they have "some" money, are basically peasants who are temporarily not broke. "Middle class" simply refers to these peasants, and is not a stable position in society anymore.
Sure, we cannot say we are rich if our wealth is below a couple of millions. Crypto is a good accelerator, however most of us will remain in the middle class.
No leverage at all, only spot I wanna die holding the bags. But I did sell some as I expect this dip to continue on Monday/Tuesday and I want to buy back in around that 30K. But that was sold once we dived below 40K technically it´s more worth now than if I would have kept it.

You have to consider yourself as a lucky boy. 1k is nothing.

This is unfortunately the point. Huge gains in bull market so we are oftrn all in, when the bear comes it's a mess.

That's the point. And considering this world, also 10k is not that much with such a volatility

I agree. And to remain “middle class”, we have to work at it. I wonder if the rich have to work as hard at staying rich?
Once became rich I think the things become easy, you leave the money to work for you. The key is passive income.
If you do the calculations later on I'm unsure you will say loss... I think it will be gains. And until you cash out. Nothing is lost...
Very true and not cashing out
As long as you didn't sell, your haven't actually "lost" anything. You aren't heavily leveraged, are you?
