In the 90's I was solidly in my thirties, and not following pop music anymore, except for the more popular stuff, (Stone Temple Pilots, Four Non Blondes). I don't recognize any of those songs. :-(
Seriously ..... :( Well it happens to many people in my early30s I was still tracking (I was a DJ till 29 I guess) but closing in to the 40s I also lost the overview of whats hip and popular. Right now I totally lost track I think, as I just did a Midnight Gems for which my son provided his Gems and I knew only one of the bands. But all were great gems.

Very nice, I am sure my dad listened to these guys as this is exactly the type of music he´s always referring to. I am personally more a Rat Pack fan and than jump to the time of Led Zeppelin and The Who.....I love the rock & Roll / Rockabilly era but I just never dove into it
I grew up with Led Zeppelin, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Deep Purple and just for kicks, that crazy Frank Zappa. Good times!!
Sounds like what I got introduced to by my stepdad.... lucky me as my dad well his musical taste was nice but limited.... First record i ever got was meatloaf bat out of hell.....and i was ruined forever

Damn ..... why haven't I ever heard of this guy before? And double damn, it seems we recently lost him. How can people go ga-ga over the Grateful Dead, (who are AT TIMES capable of some really great music, but other times kinda suck), and make tons of noise about them, but this guy was never on my radar before today?
Damn we lost him indeed now i am 😭 as i truly missed that. Well you probably know a million songs he wrote next to everything meatloaf he wrote hits for Celine Dion and Bonnie Tyler, the movie streets on fire and so much more. He has that special sound that you recognize in every song he wrote.
