PSA: always have a companion when using the restroom in public establishments or at least check your surroundings to make sure there are no suspicious-looking people. Had a really traumatizing experience in a public restroom where someone tried to take a video/photo of me while pe*ing (censoring because not sure if this word is allowed here...?) I was minding my own business when I noticed that the left side of the cubicle was moving. I looked up and saw a phone pointed down in my direction. When I left the stall, there was no one there anymore. When we asked the police to assist, we noticed that the toilet in the stall to the left was dirty and was obviously stepped on. We've already checked the CCTV cameras and have a prime suspect — a bald old man. My skin crawled and my blood boiled the moment I saw him in the footage. Not going to make accusations, but the gut shouldn't be ignored. (I will not entertain questions.) (The first time I tried to post this, I was prompted by Noise that I was "posting too fast". That's because I TYPE fast. *Insert exasperated emoji*)

When you will be in Japan please be extra cautious, Belle... Hidden cameras and secret pictures seem to be a huge problem there... - at many stairs there where mirrors that girls can look behind - there where train waggons only for woman - when the train got too crowded all people sitting where asked to put their smartphones away - With some trains there where announcements several times an hour reminding people that when they see someone being molested they have to immediately inform the staff I'm so sorry that you had to experience that. It honestly makes me so angry.
I'm travelling with someone in Japan
Oh... I see. When there is someone by your side it's a different situation. So you will be safe! 😊
