A lot of professionals around here, so let's just share our base job or industry in which we are doing our thing. For example I am a software engineer working in IT and I wonder what domain are you spending your days and if you like it or not. So, let's hear it!

Wawoo 🥰
I can't stop laughing seeing spammers "answering" your question 😁😋lol I was working for 25 years but the last almost three years, I am at home, working as a freelancer and waiting for the pandemic to go away and try to find a job (although it's hard, I guess I am "old" enough etc). Anyway, if I'll exclude noise and sites that have to do with cryptocurrency, I use fiverr for working and github/codepen for ideas about internet page designs and some sites that have lessons about programming Internet pages.
That is pretty cool and to tell you the truth it is quite great to try to work for yourself.
Yes it is, still I miss going out to work... I mean, less trouble in my head for sure, much better in the way I feel, but staying just home is somehow weird for people who have used to work outside. Maybe I feel that way because of the pandemic, If I could go for a coffee or shopping etc, would be different I guess.
That might be so, but another option would be to use a shared office space. That would bring the routing from a regular workplace, but without the stress of it.
I do have my office in a separate room, that's for sure! I miss I guess the good times with colleagues ONLY, but I guess I can't have anything as I want it 😊 !!! The fact that I'm feeling so less stressful, although sometimes I have to "run" to finish the work in the day needed, is something wonderful - that's for sure! 😊
software engineer, or to be more specific, web application developer
That's a great domain, much action now and in the future!
every day something changes, so a bit tiring but never boring
I'm a Spa Therapist but some hotels of my company closed due to Covid-mess and never got back to work...Now I'm a full-time mother, content creator and take care of the customer support at CTP :)
Hmmm, I would have expected to be able to go on your own and offer individual or at home spa therapies. We all pivot one way or the other and I've seen many doing so.
That's true...the "perks" of living on a very touristic island is the lack of tourists due to Covid, almost all the hotels closed, other spa-ish businesses cutting expenses, and not contracting, and so on...having a small apartment doesn't help either lol Been checking for other jobs though but no luck so far. That's why I created an online program and been trying to focus on that and helping Jon and Blain on CTP :)
Aerospace. It has its ups and downs.
That is a crazy industry, one for the future!
It's had a really rough year with the pandemic but it's going to bounce back even stronger for sure.
Full time stay at home parent. :D
Home and parenting are the most important things and if you can do something on top of that is quite great...
