Splinterlands - Not a collective mind as we wanted to believe? https://leofinance.io/@behiver/splinterlands-not-a-collective-mind-as-we-wanted-to-believe The Splinterlands team is a moving collective mind and the last decision showed that it changes the rules of the game as it pleases, even if that seems to be against players' and investors' interests. While in the Chaos Legion release bull run the team flooded the market with 14 Million packs showing greed in my opinion, once the remaining packs were supposed to be burned it seemed that they'd turned to better decisions. But their latest move to grab 500k packs from the burning path and put them on the market in one form or another, which was not even put through a DAO Proposal process (even if it didn't have to as it was not part of the DAO Treasury), shows that they do not always care about the players or investors interests. Why am I saying this? Well because when 1 Chaos Legion pack is standing on the second market at 5.5 Hive, which is equivalent to $2.42 as opposed to a $4 pack in the store, how can the CL pack price at least reach the market price in order for the investors to see any profit? Until this bear market things had equilibrium and while Splinterlands earned hefty along the way, they'd always leave something on the table for the players and investors, but lately, they seem to work against that and only consider their wealth. And taking this path can lead to this great game's downfall in time...
