Digital Currency Group (DCG) plans to invest up to $250 million in GBTC at discount Here is another institutional adoption and we continue the path to BTC recognition. As Bitcoin (BTC) consolidates, Digital Currency Group (DCG) plans to invest up to $250 million worth of shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). DCG, the parent company of crypto asset manager Grayscale, intends to buy GBTC shares on the open market and get indirect exposure to bitcoin worth. The news comes as GBTC is trading at a discount, potentially caused by large investors cashing out their gains or just arbitraging premiums away, furthered by the influx of competing products such as the new Bitcoin ETF in Canada. All for the better, I wonder with all this institutional adoption if it is still possible to fall deep when the bears come to town... what do you think? #Leofinance
