It seems that even Microsoft dives into blockchain even if on the other side considering their selling model they speak against it. But now they want to build Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) using Bitcoin to ensure people online identity and privacy using Bitcoin network. While is another use case which is great, I am thinking that they use this as a mean of other way of licensing fighting pirating in order to get more money for their products.
