Bitcoin will "eventually" move to Proof-of-Stake The New York Times says that Bitcoin is expected to eventually follow Ethereum's example by adopting the proof-of-stake consensus algorithm and ditching the energy-intensive proof-of-work mechanism: "The world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Ethererum, has said it is moving toward proof of stake (that switch is likely to take up to another year), and Bitcoin is expected to eventually follow." I wonder if all hardforks like Bitcoin Cash might do the same...? #Club1Bch

Bitcoin coin moving to proof of Stake has been in the pipeline for some time. I think I read this some time in 2018. With the renewed outcry on the energy consumption and it not being environmental friendly, it becomes a matter of how soon rather than when.
lol. Do you realise that no miner will change their Bitcoin Core software to pow software?
lol. You probably don't believe yourself that BTC will change its algorithm. The consequence would only be the next fork.
Lol what a joke.
It is frightening to see that people do not understand how Bitcoin network works.
