Over 200,000 ETH were now burned after the EIP-1559 hardfork, worth $800 million at current market price. This is because the ETH paid in transaction fees is now destroyed rather than given to miners, reducing supply. Current rates suggest 300 ETH are being burned each hour and with that Ethereum price is mooning.
