But with that also hackers and other bad actors are humming around. As many of you might already know these days about ThorSwap, a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on top of ThorChain, has entered maintenance mode due to discovered illicit activity. In this time, the platform is addressing the situation and taking necessary actions. Accordingly the users are advised to exercise caution and stay updated on developments regarding the DEX's status. But we should all have in mind that Thorswap is just one of many others interfaces plugged into Thorchain. This means that the users can at any time switch to any of that and have business as usual. Panic is overrated in this case and some of it might come from the fact that there isn’t a good understanding between ThorSwap and ThorChain, so I will try to unravel some of these differences.
