Living in abundance
I would love to start this article with a popular confession I say to myself, as it is in the Bible .
At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

The quality of what you listen to and what you read affects your life. One thing I want you to know is that God’s intention is for you to prosper. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. I know this and I know peace.
what do you know? What do you hear? What do you confess to yourself every day? What kind of mentality do you have? Do you have the abundance mindset or the scarcity mindset?These are my questions to you, if you are reading this article.
Your revelation precedes your experience. You can only function in what you know or have knowledge of. Most times, a lot of us don’t even know the provisions that have been made available for us, just for us to key into it and walk by it. If your heart is not right,the happenings of your heart won’t be right. Your heart is the governor of your destiny, out of our heart proceeds the issues of life. Abundance is an issue of life,scarcity is an issue of life, they both proceed from your heart. Scarcity thinking is a thought that everything is not enough. You always see yourself as the less privileged person all the time and you think less of yourself. Even when you can afford a quality cloth, you would rather settle for a less quality one.
How to know there is scarcity in your soul?
Fear- The fear of loosing what’s in your hand to generosity. Fear could make a stingy man out of anybody .Faith could make a generous man out of anybody.
Abundance is not for rich people,it’s for people who think like God.
Pit falls of abundance
It is important to note that when you are blessed, the goal is not for vengeance. It is not to take revenge on those that were not there for you when you needed help. Well, I know it can be painful most times when you get rejected by people you have put your trust in, especially when they are people that are very close to you. But then, the main thing is just to be grateful your status has changed and move on. It is wrong when you start planning to take revenge with your riches.
Misuse of prosperity and abuse of prosperity-Misuse is when a man thinks of himself alone. When you feel as though you are now in the position to store up wealth for yourself alone, without considering the needy or the fact that you can leave the world one day and what you have stored up can get spoilt when there are actually people who needs it more on the street. Misuse can also be when you start oppressing people around you with your riches.
Abuse is when God bless you and you use it against God’s will. You know it is the lord’s doing and it is marvelous in your sight ,but you have chosen to oppress the people of God with it. Remember the lord with gratitude and praise and also with financial commitments.
Do not forget that abundance living begins from the renewal of your mind. Even with that little you have, think big, dream big, plan big, give to those that do not have as much as you do.
The Metaverse
"The people are pieces of software called avatars. They are the audiovisual bodies that people use to communicate with each other in the Metaverse." Neal Stephenson.
The term Metaverse was first introduced by Neal Stephenson in his novel "snow crash" a 1992 science fiction book.
The term has been getting more popularity lately especially after Facebook rebrand to Meta in October 2021. So, what does this term mean?
Metaverse generally refers to the concept of a highly immersive virtual world where people gather to socialize, play and work. Immersive virtual world means we are not dealing with this physical world, but we are dealing with some extension of our imagination. So, how is the metaverse different from the internet or video games as we know them today? The components of the metaverse are what make the technology standard.
Main Components of the Metaverse
Augmented reality (AR): Is an enhanced version of the real physical world that is achieved through the use of digital visual elements ,sound, or other sensory stimuli delivered through technology . Example is Pokemon Go.
Virtual reality (VR): An artificial environment which is experienced through sensory stimuli ( such as sights and sounds) provided by a computer and in which one's action partially determine what happens in the environment. Example is Oculus.
Metaverse and the economy
The Metaverse will surely impact and disrupt the economic ecosystem globally. Basically, there is no new technology that will not have effect on the economy whether positively or negatively. We have seen people buying virtual land in the metaverse, people tend to want to buy land near celebrity. Also, multiple companies are planning to take their business virtually, with virtual stores, restaurants and so on.
The future of work as we know is becoming less practical since the pandemic started, people are more willing to work from home now than ever and we can see that the trend is here to stay. Know who your friend is
Majority of us do not know who truly our friend is. We have called a lot of people friends and in the real sense they are not fit to be called our friends. It is because we have abused the word friendship a lot that many of us are getting hurt. Have you ever been betrayed by one which you called your friend before? Oh! and you are crying, saying "and she was my friend or he was my friend, i didn't expect this from her or i didn't expect this from him". Well, maybe he or she was never your friend, maybe you thought wrong. Always take note of the purpose or reasons why people are in your life. We have different classification of friendship. There are different level as to which you place your friend, if you miss it, then you are sure to tell stories that touch. I will be discussing some of the classification of friendship i know in the subsequent paragraphs.
Constituent
This classification include those that can help you achieve your goal. Examples of constituents are your colleagues at work or your course mates. One thing you should take note is, whether it is at work or in school, you are all there to achieve a set goal. Now, let us take the example one after the other. While you are in school, the major goal is to graduate, but you will agree with me that it is not an easy task. You cannot work or walk on your own. There are times they will give you a group work in school and you need to relate with others in your group. The fact that you have now started relating with them does not automatically make all of them your friends that you should your deep secret with. Do you need them? yes. Are they your friends? Well, they are your constituents that you have to work with to achieve your goal, so you know the category they belong to even if you call them your friend. For the second example, most times you are being grouped to work together as a team in a company, or better still, even if you work alone, you either have superiors or juniors you have to work with. Now, because of this reason, you need to start getting close to some set of persons, it is important for you to know that they are your constituent in your classification of friendship, you need them to achieve a set goal. You will agree with me that most times, your constituent are not chosen by you, they are people you just meet and you have to work with. It is now left for you to limit the friendship to the content that created it except if proven otherwise.
COMRADE
This classification of friends are those that are against what you are against, they are not to achieve what you want to achieve. They are there to fight . This kind of friendship don't usually last for long and they really should not, except if proven otherwise. A perfect example to discuss this is a protest. On the protest ground, you will meet a lot of people that are there to fight alongside with you, it does not mean that you all have the same end goal. You just need them to be able to fight together. It will be unwise to meet someone on a protest ground and then you start telling the person all that there is to your life, you are all just there to fight for a particular cause and once it is over, that is all. Majority of us have been on a protest ground and we have made friends with people that after the end of the protest, you have little or nothing to say to them again. This is because the cause you are fighting for alongside with them is over and hence, everyone will resume to their daily business. Most times if you want to defeat someone that is powerful than you, all you have to do is to look for another enemy of this same person you want to defeat. Clearly, two of you don't have the same goal, but you have the same person you are against. After the fight, your partnership with the person ends, and the friendship is over. As you progress in life, you will definitely need comrades.
COVENANT FRIENDS
These kind of friends are not always many, as a matter of fact, they can just be two and in some cases, one. This is because in covenant friendship, there is always vulnerability, you give yourself fully to the person, and you cannot give yourself to ten persons. This kind of friendship is demanding. It is born for adversity. In life, we need covenant friend that will have our back any day and any time. The kind of friend that is willing to sacrifice their all for us. The kind of friend that will allow us take that job offer instead of them because there is only one spot and that friend knows that you are more capable or you need the job more. That kind of friend that when the whole world stand against you because of a mistake that you have made, he or she is willing to stand by you. A friend that is willing to share in both your pain and in your happiness. Many of us have never had this kind of friend before, but we have made the mistake of placing someone that should be a comrade in a position of covenant friend and so we end up hurting. It is a good thing to have a covenant friend in your life, but if you don't, just make sure you place those that are in your life in the right category of friendship. Sometimes, our partners end up becoming our covenant friend. I hope you find that covenant friend soon if you do not have one in your life.
Do not group people where they should not be, it will only hurt you. learn to also call people your colleagues, your exercise mate, your course mate, your church mate, your hostel mat, your reading partner and so on. Not everyone is your friend. It is important that you know who you share deep matters with. Lastly, make sure you limit the content of every relationship to why it is there, i mean the content that gave birth to it.
This too shall pass
Ever been at the lowest point of your life where you feel like giving up? Or you have been heartbroken and rejected? Well, the good news is nothing last forever. There are moments when things are not going the way you expect it to be and then you feel as though that is the end. Almost everyone has had a period in their life when they are really sad and hoping for a miracle to occur, but if you take out a minute to reflect back on that period, you will be surprised at how great you are doing again.
If you see a pregnant woman, she will tell you how that she is in so much pain, and she does not think she can afford to give birth to another child. But then, when the period of labour has passed and she has the child aready, she will forget all the pain and move on again with another pregnancy. Maybe that instance is still not clear enough, let us use another instance. Have you ever been heartbroken before, because i have had that experience before, let me share a little bit of my story.
At a certain period, i was in a relationship, everything was fine, it was rosy and everyone was happy. It was during my undergraduate days, i had introduced him to those that matters to me. And he was loved by all of them. Many people in the vicinity will see us together and wish they were in my shoes, i was an happy person during that period. And all of a sudden, he told me his father wanted him to change school and start all over with another course, since he was not studying the exact course he applied for in our university then. After he told me this, i was disappointed. But then, i thought of it as another better option though the only barrier will just be distance, nothing should change between us.
Well, so i thought ,until we went for summer break and he started acting like a depressed soul that was unhappy with his father's decision. Gradually, we started drifting apart. I did not want to accept the fact that everything will come to an end like that, and so i waited patiently for resumption with the hope that he would not end up changing university. Well, school resumed back and he also resumed, i was happy he did not end up leaving and that things should get back to normal. But then, things only got worse, we started having unnecessary fights until he requested for a break up.
Everything happened so fast that i thought of the fact that the change of university was just a lie and he wanted us to just end things then on that account. It was really hard and i did not want to let go. From that moment onward, things only became worse and i just thought of it that if i don't want my academics to suffer, i really have to let go. Hmm, i thought it was going to be an easy one, until days and weeks passed by and i realized that it was almost impossible for me to move on. I would still text and call him even when he does not respond well. A close friend of mine had to come to my rescue when she saw that i needed help at that period. She shared her story with me of how that when she was also heartbroken, she would lock herself up in a shop and wail from morning till night until she was finally able to let go. I looked at her that day to see if she would shed tears telling her story, but she didn't, she looked fine. After that day, i started hoping for the day when i will also be able to share my story without feeling sad or crying. I felt like if truly with the moments they had and all, she can finally get to a time when she is completely healed, then mine shall also pass too. And i am glad that i can also share my story today happily and without any feeling of sadness. The essence of this is just to make us know that, though things can get so bad and make us feel like the whole world is about to crumble on our head, just try as much as possible to stay alive and you will realize that the pain is gone and you are perfectly fine.
Yours may not be heartbreak issue, it can be academic problems, financial problem, emotional trauma or marital problem, just try as much as possible to talk to the right person about it, someone that will give you hope at least. Stay away from people that will criticize you or make you feel less human. Most importantly, tell that situation to God in prayer. Also, when certain things happen, a lot of people would say, this too shall pass. But if you really think about it, both the sadness, sorrow, joy, happiness, enjoyment, tears, laughter will all disappear. Nothing last forever right?
Application of Blockchain Technology
Introduction to Blockchain Technology
Blockchain is a set of blocks that records information of transactions like who made the transaction to whom, the amount of trade, in form of a digital ledger that is distributed across hundreds of networks referred to as Node. The blockchain is a connected chain of blocks. Let's say we have different blocks that are connected in a network, this network holds transaction of a particular exchange. Now, this transaction contain information of who owns this particular cryptocurrency. The kind of transaction it is or the identity of the person who owns it, who you sent it to, where it is coming from, and all these kind of information are stored in the blocks, the blocks are called public ledgers.
The ledgers are like a spread sheet everyone can see, so when something happens on the blockchain you can actually go access the blockchain and see who sent money to another, it is different from our physical banks where the transactions are hidden or you need a permission from someone, and that is also where the word decentralized comes from, it is not connected to any body or authority. The only thing you cannot do on the user interface is to make unnecessary changes to it, you can't just make changes to it without being validated.
The distribution makes it almost impossible to hack or cheat the system. When a new transaction is made, it must be verified and validated across every nodes before it is added to the main blockchain. There is something called the main blockchain and the mempool , the mempool holds transaction that needs to be validated. So, there are thousands of thousands of transaction that are pending and needs to be validated, but the blockchain technology is actually very limited to a specific amount of transaction per minute, so it chooses the transaction that needs to be validated in the mempool and once this transaction is being validated across all the nodes in the network, it will be placed in the main blockchain. The main blockchain is a permanent record that can never be changed, it can only be written to and be read, it can never be altered in a fraudulent way because a lot of people have access to it and a lot of people are watching it closely and also validating it.
Also, the data being passed around is secured with high level cryptographic hashing algorithms. The bitcoin actually uses a complex level of hashing, which requires you to do a certain amount of work for you to validate a transaction and place it in the main blockchain. When you do the validation work, that is when you get rewarded with bitcoin, which is like the currency that is spent on this particular network. There are a lot of network apart from this particular bitcoin, each of them have their own way of validation. For bitcoin, the method is called proof of work, you have to proof that you have done this particular amount of work and then you get rewarded with a certain bitcoin amount. Apart from the proof of work, we also have proof of stake and the likes.
The Application of Blockchain Technology
Although the most common application of blockchain technology is in cryptocurrency, there are other sectors that also uses blockchain technology. They can also be applicable in the following sectors;
Healthcare
In the healthcare sector, we have fields like medical information storage where blockchain technology is used to store patients information. It can be a private information whereby the patient actually have access to secure or to block his or her information, and it could also be a publicly available information whereby the record is open for public usage. It can also be used for drug authenticity check, when a drug is being manufactured, it can be given a sort of product code that holds information about the drug, such as the expiry date, manufacturer name and all. This product code could be stored on the blockchain where it is readily available to the public. The user could also buy the drug and just check out the authenticity of the drug on the chain. Another application is in health insurance. Insurance definitely involves money, and it is only natural that with the power of security that blockchain technology has, it can be employed in health insurance.
Government
One of the most popular application in the government sector is in the voting system. A lot of voting systems have actually been developed, but mostly for security purpose and to prevent fraud, voting system can be built on the blockchain where it is sure that nothing can be changed. This way, it will prevent fraud and also allow the public to have access to all the information, thereby making it a free and fair election. Another application is in the tax processing whereby the tax payers information and all transactions are stored on the blockchain and also the moving around of the tax is monitored by the public. This way we can put a check on the government in the allocating of tax fund.
Finance
Another application of blockchain is in the finance industry. It can be applied in loan management. Blockchain technology is actually useful in this system because when you take a loan and you put down a collateral, the collateral can be controlled by the smart contract that is written on the blockchain. In a situation whereby you don't pay off your loans at the expected time, it monitors what will happen based on the terms and condition. Another application is in the trading system, this is what a lot of people are doing right now with cryptocurrency, they trade, exchange and do a lot of swapping. All these are based on blockchain technology.
The Art Industry
The art industry is also seeing a kind of rush due to the introduction of NFT, the Non fungible Tokens which are basically digital arts on the blockchain system.

Excellence and Enterprise
Excellence is the introduction of beauty to something that was mediocre or lacking in splendor. For instance, you enter into a room and it is scattered, and you decide to arrange it, after the arrangement you will realize that the beauty of the room will be seen. What you have simply done is that you have introduced beauty to a room that was lacking in splendor. Excellence is an endangered trait, not everyone is striving to attain excellence. It is important to know that there is the learning of excellence and there is also spirit of excellence, those that have it inbuilt, they are excellent in whatever they do.
Excellence is striving to be the best at what you do, using yourself and the prevailing market standard as a benchmark. It is you exceeding your own standard and the market standard, because everyone around you is not doing business well does not mean that you should not learn how to be excellent in your business. The fact that you are the only barber in your environment does not mean you should not have a good customer relation. That business you are prospering in now and you are not being excellent at it, but because you are the only one around you do not care, one day is coming when someone that probably is not as good you will come up, but because the person has that touch of excellence, that good customer relation you don't have, it is only a matter of time before the person will take over.
A lot of business today lacks excellence, hence more reason they are not prospering. If you have an eatery and it is not looking well kept, you don't expect that people will leave other neat eatery and come to yours. Excellence is scarce. Excellence will take from you, it doesn't come for free, you make efforts. You have to be intentional about it, somedays you don't feel like it, but because you know you can't afford to be lazy about it, you just have to do it. An excellent person does not peruse. Being excellent will cost you, for instance, you want to set up a saloon. You know fully well that there are original and standard equipment to use and there are also the fake ones that look like originals. Now, if you are an excellent person, you will know fully well that you can't afford to compromise by getting fake equipment, but a non excellent person will not care until they get to a point where they would regret getting the fake equipment. This is why i said excellent will cost you, but the end thereof is good.
There are a lot of people that have talent. For instance, some people have the talent of being a footballer, while some footballers have to do some real hard work. If a talented person is not careful by adding a touch of excellence, hard work will eat talent for lunch. Excellence also attracts favour, i have a friend that is excellent in her fashion sense and most times when she boards taxi, someone get to pay her transport fare as a complement for her dress sense or the perfume she was wearing.
Add a touch of excellence to that business you are doing, it might not always pay immediately, but with consistency you will definitely get the reward.`
Understanding Cryptocurrency using BCH
cryptocurrency is a virtual or a digital currency that works on blockchain technology. This implies that it is entirely online, it has no physical form. Now, when you get this BCH, you can exchange it for a particular goods online or service. Cryptocurrencies are stored in crypto wallet. In comparing cryptocurrencies to physical form of money that we all know, physical money are kept in banks and are produced in the mints, but cryptocurrencies are kept in the wallet and are produced through the process of mining. When the bitcoin was introduced, it was kind of a way to eliminate third party or physical form of validators for transaction. Comparing it with banks, the work of the bank is to validate transaction and also to validate printing of notes. That moment when You think a lie is a better option than honesty
I would like to start this article by asking if you have ever been in a situation where you think telling a lie will be a better option than honesty. Well in this article, i will be sharing my ordeal. In all sincerity, if i was asked to answer the question i asked in the first sentence, i would say there should not be any reason we should choose lie over honesty. But after i had my experience of this kind of situation, i realized that it is easy to judge an issue if you have not experienced it. Though this is not to validate lie or in any way claiming that there are not people that will still choose honesty in any kind of situation they may be.
And so it happened that during my undergraduate days, there was a clearance activity i was supposed to take part in, it is necessary for everyone that wants to graduate. My secondary school leaving certificate was necessary for me to take part in this clearance activity, it was to be submitted for the confirmation of our WAEC result. The supervisor in charge already told us the day and the time to come for the clearance, but one notable thing was that we have been going before and there was no response. It's either we stay at the entrance of the office and no response or the appointment gets cancelled. Fast forward back to when he told us the day and time to come for the clearance activity, i woke up on that faithful day, had my morning devotion, did some little chores, but i was not really conscious of the time. Actually, it was intentional, my thought was that it will just be another cancelled appointment and a waste of transport fare. My class group have an online platform where we communicate and share information, and after doing some chores, i decided to check online and to my surprise i saw an information that the clearance activity has started and the office in charge gave an information that anyone that was not around at that period is at the risk of not graduating. Imagine seeing that kind of information, i was already disorganized and anxious. I had to rush my bath, dress up in an hurry and leave for school, it was part of the days when i wished buses could fly, i can't believe my five years in school could be in vain because i am going to be at the risk of missing a clearance activity. After i finally got down from the bus that was looking as though it was extra ordinarily slow that day, if only you can relate to all these kind of experience, very funny. I rushed down to the office, lo and behold, i did not meet any of my course mate. It was then i knew i was extra late. I summoned up courage to enter the office, actually i entered with my head blank and i was also afraid. I was questioned for coming late and that i should go back home because nothing could be done to the situation and the persons in charge of the clearance activity have collected the files of those that were around at the appointment time. Honestly, at that point i just knew it can't be the end, i didn't know where the inspiration came from, i had to tell a lie that i was purging, my stomach aches and i had to wait till my stomach get settled before leaving home. To intensify the lie, i made sure i had the expression of a sick face, with one hand on my stomach as though i was ready to defecate on that spot. After the whole drama, one of those in the office said my face looked fine and radiant, so he had his own benefit of doubt if i was really sick or not, maybe i was a bad actress. Well, i didn't care at that point, instead i decided to do better, until one of those in charge said he believed me. If only i could jump and hug the man at that point for being my saviour, it was such a huge relief. Anyways, i was directed to where my mates submitted their files and it was collected because they wrote a special note for me to take along. It was after i was cleared that it dawned on me that i was perfectly fine and i need to cut the show i was putting off, and on my way home, i saw one of my course mate crying because she was sent out of the office for coming late. I didn't know whether to be grateful i lied at that point or to feel guilty. Whichever way, i just had to do what was needed at that time, begging would have made them just send me out, and if i was to give an excuse too, i really didn't have a tangible one.

For example Pokémon cards can be copied, but only the originals are rare. And can be sold for $50k+ The same can be said about NFTs.
NFT is any digital asset that is minted on the blockchain, all transactions take place on the blockchain. Blockchain is a system of recording information in a way that makes it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system. Just like other crypto which is also a digital assets, NFT are being transacted on the blockchain. Blockchain is a new technology that is already gaining massive adoption due to the decentralized features it offers. This means that any transactions on the blockchain takes place without the need of a third party, no one is in control. Well, that’s not the topic for today. Anyone can create, buy, sell or trade an NFT.
What is minting: in crypto, minting means generating new coin, but in regards to NFTs, is the process of taking a digital asset and converting the digital file into a digital asset stored on the blockchain. Making it officially a commodity that can be bought and sold.
How to mint your own NFT: You can make any art and upload (mint) on opensea for sale (you can watch a YouTube video for that) note that you’ll need some ethereum as gas fee to mint your NFT on opensea. It is easy to post an art on opensea for sale but getting them sold is very difficult. You have to connect with other digital artist and collectors to get your NFT sold, you can be lucky enough to see who is willing to purchase it.
Easy way of Making money from NFT: Trust me, there is no easy way to make money, everything requires hardwork, commitment and consistency. There are ways from making money from NFT aside creating your own arts. There are several NFT project that comes up daily. You probably would have heard of Bored Ape or Cool cat which is been sold for thousands of dollars. You can mint on any NFT project. Minting is usually done on a project’s website or minted through the projects smart contract on etherscan. After minting your NFT, nobody can mint that specific NFT. They would have to buy it from you on secondary (opensea,Looksrare). You can mint an NFT from any project art collection. After minting, you become the sole owner of the art and you can sell or hold. The price at which you sell is determined by the hype around the project, how much people are interested in purchasing the art. The greater the demand, the higher the price.
This is similar to buying a crypto coin from a project, or buying a shares from a company. Making profit from the shares or crypto you purchase will depend on how interested people are in the company. Supply and demand play a huge role in the crypto space.
