The game of lowering bitcoin with a high leverage can go sideways for sellers. This opinion was expressed in the author's article by the head of Babel Finance Flex Yan. He claims that the market is flooded with sellers with high leverage. This situation is dangerous with a short-squeeze followed by a sharp jump in the price. In particular, the head of Babel Finance gives an example of past short-squizov cryptocurrency: From February to April 2018, short positions on bitcoin steadily increased to 38,000 units. During the month that the market peaked that year, the price of bitcoin rose from $7,100 to ~$10,000. From June to the end of July 2020, the volume of short positions increased by 80%. After that, the price increased by 30%, provoking the liquidation of short positions. Also, the growth of short positions was recorded in November 2020. Despite this, the price of bitcoin continued to rise. #CryptoTrading
