According to a survey by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the number of UK investors in cryptocurrencies has increased from 1.9 million last year to 2.3 million in 2021. In addition to the increase in the number of investors among the adult population of the UK, there are more people familiar with cryptocurrencies. If last year 73% of respondents answered positively to such a question, now they have increased by 5%. The regulator also noted the growth of enthusiasm among the population in relation to cryptocurrencies. The percentage of citizens who had a positive experience of investing in cryptocurrencies and would like to repeat the investment increased from 41% to 53%. This is quite expected, given the significant growth of the cryptocurrency market over the past year. However, according to the survey, the understanding of what cryptocurrencies are is declining. Only 71% of respondents were able to correctly choose the definition of cryptocurrencies in the list. This indicates the arrival of a large number of inexperienced investors. #CryptoTrading
