Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not suitable for retail investors. This conclusion was reached by analysts of the American bank Goldman Sachs, writes Barron's. As the experts of the research department of the Investment Strategy Group (ISG) found out, bitcoin does not meet the criteria of an investment asset. However, analysts admit that the cryptocurrency ecosystem can "revolutionize" in the future. To evaluate bitcoin, ISG experts used five criteria, according to which the asset should: - generate a stable and reliable cash flow on a contractual basis, such as bonds; - generate profit through economic growth by type of stock; - ensure consistent and reliable portfolio diversification; reduce volatility; -provide consistent and reliable evidence of hedging inflation or deflation as a means of saving. #CryptoTrading
