The Brew of ETH 2.0 Ethereum 2.0 staking contract now has more than 5 million ETH, signifying that its total value locked amounts to approximately $14 billion. Ethereum 2.0, a network upgrade from Ethereum, is undergoing a shift from a proof-of-work consensus mechanism to a proof-of-stake one. This means that the blockchain will move away from being reliant on miners to process transactions, to allowing anyone who is willing to stake 32 ETH to do the job instead. #Cryptocurrency
