What is Kadena Crypto - Can it Kill Ethereum? Many crypto enthusiasts are wondering what Kadena crypto is and why it has appreciated over the last couple of weeks. Here we will explain everything you need to know about Kadena (KDA) and how it works. This ecosystem focuses on gasless transactions, better smart contracts, and efficiency. Kadena is trying to correct the two major mistakes of Bitcoin and Ethereum. They aim to do so by adding smart contracts and gasless transactions fees, which is the biggest problem of Ethereum. Before we explain further, we need to understand what Kadena means appropriately. **What is Kadena Crypto** Kadena (KDA) is a network that brings together both public and private blockchains with other compatible chains to one place, routing traffic through the Kadena ring chain to a high bandwidth computer. The Kadena coin offers a scalable hybrid blockchain technology that is secure and fast. Kadena is simply a layer one smart contract platform secured by a unique proof of work consensus algorithm that allows for high speeds and low transaction fees. The platform has a new smart contract called Pact; it comes with formal verifications and upgraded smart contracts. Kadena also has a unique proof of work consensus mechanism that is called Chainweb that has multiple individual mined chains working side by side to execute the network transactions. This design allows for high transactions throughput at the base layer without the need for any second layer scalability or functional scalability. Kadena is a unique token out there to solve the problem of BTC and ETH, and it has the potential to grow and get bigger. The digital asset was built by a team of experts, and we are going to talk about them in a bit; I will also share a guide on how to buy the crypto asset if you are interested. **Kadena History** Kadena was founded by a team of blockchain experts that worked previously for the JPMorgan blockchain Development Juno. It was started in 2016 and has been backed by investors that offered money in exchange for the Kadena token. They have raised over $15 million through SAFTs (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens). Kadena was founded on the idea that blockchain could revolutionize how the world interacts and transacts. But to get to mass adoption, blockchain technology and the ecosystem connecting it to the business world needed to be reimagined from the ground up. The founders of Kadena built a proprietary chain architecture and created the tools to make blockchain work for business. They did this in a way that will be energy efficient, very fast, and scalable. All this was thought to be previously unachievable. Kadena’s native smart contract language, Pact, is designed to better Ethereum’s mistakes, especially in Solidity. The lack of formal verification and Ethereum’s susceptibility to unbounded loops are particular areas where Kadena is correcting. Pact smart contracts can also be upgraded without using any hard fork. Kadena also has a private blockchain that antecedes its public smart contract platform. Kadena Kuro is, formerly known as ScalableBFT, the platform uses a Byzantine Fault-tolerant consensus mechanism optimized for enterprise-grade use cases. In 2018, Kadena Kuro was used by a health care consortium to help the effort required to collect and maintain insurance provider information. The private blockchain can be used similarly to a side chain with a public blockchain network. This will speed up data processing and create a new marketplace for data. **Who are Kadena founders?** Stuart Popejoy and Will Martino founded Kadena; they worked together at JPMorgan’s blockchain center of excellence. They both have immense experience in blockchain technology, which is why they came together to start Kadena. Together, they built JPMorgan’s first blockchain, now known as the JPM coin. Even before Kadena was launched in 2016, both men were already leaders in blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions. Stuart Popejoy is the CEO at Kadena. He worked for 15years under the JPMorgan blockchain group, where he led the blockchain development. He has over 15 years of experience building trading systems and exchange backbones for the financial industry. Stuart has also been into coding for more than 25 decades, and he also has a major in comparative literature from the University of Berkeley. Will Martino is the President at Kadena; he also worked with JPMorgan’s emerging technology group, where he was part of the team that built JPM’s first blockchain. Before his role at JPM, he was a senior science adviser for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; that was where he got started with blockchain technology. In addition, he worked as a data engineer for AxialMarket and worked in client service for ION. Martino went to Yale University, where he studied Maths and Economics. Kadena has a team of experts recruited from JPMorgan to help them with their project. One of their most notable recruits is Dr. Stuart Haber, the co-inventor of blockchain and the most cited author in Satoshi Nakamoto’s renowned 2008 white paper. In addition, they have a team of over 20 staff working towards the success of Kadena. **Who Are Kadena Investors?** Kadena has raised over $15 million in 4 different funding rounds since its launch in 2016. The project is funded by over 14 investors, including SVAngel, YouBi Capital, ChainFund Capital, and Devonshire Investors. They also have partnerships with Flux, Polkadot, Zelcore, Wrapped, and Terra. The Investors are offered the KAD token in exchange for cash. In 2018, Kadena held two private token sales in a Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT). They generated $2.25 million in the first round and $12 million in the second round. However, they did not mention the number of tokens that were sold. Individuals can buy the KAD token from some crypto exchanges that we will talk about in a bit. **What is Kadena Token (KAD) Utility? Who will be using it?** Kadena (KAD) is the native token of the Kadena blockchain. The token is used to pay for computing power on the blockchain. It is used to execute smart contracts and transactions on the network. It can be directly transferred between users, i.e., from one wallet to another. The token also serves to pay the gas cost of executing smart contracts like what we have with Ethereum. The service fee is very low, unlike what we have with Ethereum. **Where to Buy Kadena** Kadena is not listed on many crypto exchanges, but you can buy and own the digital asset from the following exchanges if you want to purchase and own the digital asset. KuCoin, Gate.io, Bittrex, CoinEx, CoinMetro, Hotbit, and Hoo.kadena has a market capitalization of over $1.2 billion, and it currently ranks at number 69 on the crypto ranking table on coinmarketcap. Kadena can also be earned through mining. Kadena is also revolutionizing how creators can earn from NFTs, and creators are already planning to build games on the Kadena blockchain. **Rounding Up – What is Kadena Crypto** Kadena is solving the biggest problems that Bitcoin and Ethereum have not solved. They have an open-source platform that developers can take advantage of and create blockchain-based games and products. Their platform processes over four hundred transactions in seconds, and the gas fee is low. The crypto project has the potential to get bigger and better. It can take the path of Solana and be a potential big Ethereum competitor in the future. If you have any questions regarding What Kadena crypto is, please use the comment section below.

How to Invest in the Metaverse Metaverse is currently one of the most searched words on google. Although the term has been there for a while now a lot of people didn’t pay attention to it until recently. Facebook now Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced in August that the company is rebranding with its main focus now on building a metaverse. Some other metaverse projects have been underground for a while now and some people have already started investing in them. if you want to understand the Metaverse better click HERE. The metaverse is the next big thing and early investors can make millions if not billions in profits from the project. The metaverse holds a lot of potentials both positive and negative potentials. At the same time, it can also be the key to unlocking riches and setting early adopters financially free. as we gradually begin transitioning to Web 3.0, the metaverse is more like the infrastructure that will be used to move on from Web 3.0. All this might sound confusing but, in another article, we will talk about Web 3.0. Today our main focus is to talk about how to invest in the metaverse. At the moment we already have games like Roblox and Fortnite that give us a close look into what the metaverse will look like. Out of curiosity, I was thinking about how I can be a part of what will happen in the next 10 years if I invest in some metaverse projects. I missed the crypto boom of the early 2000s wouldn’t miss this opportunity because success is glaring. According to a survey by Bloomberg Intelligence they estimated that the metaverse market size will reach $800 billion by 2024. The metaverse is very much still early but there are opportunities to either invest either directly or indirectly in the potentials of the metaverse Enough of the chit chats let's dive into what brought us here. **How to Invest in the Metaverse** **Buy Metaverse Stocks** One of the easiest and safe ways to invest in the metaverse is by buying stocks from companies involved in metaverse projects. These are stocks are shares in publicly traded companies that are building metaverse projects. Facebook is not the only company presently building a metaverse we have Nvidia, Microsoft, Roblox, Amazon, Disney, and Unity Software. Facebook is presently leading the race because they have their virtual glasses in the Oculus VR headsets. We also saw them partner with Ray-Ban to release an AR (Augmented Reality) related sunglass. Buying publicly traded shares of the companies involved in building a metaverse can multiply in some years to come. **Buying Metaverse Cryptocurrencies** Another quick way to jump into the metaverse is by buying and owning some metaverse tokens. We have tokens like Axie Infinity, The Sandbox, and Decentraland, and others. These are tokens that are based off on some metaverse-like games. The tokens are used to buy certain in-game items and some of them have an overall volume that can be available. Before the industry blows up it will be a wise decision to take a look at some of these coins and bag them as much as you can. Decentraland for example is the largest virtual world and users can buy land, play games, interact with one another. Some of the coins including Facebook Novi that will soon be launched will be used to buy items in the metaverse early holders can profit from them. this is because they are utility tokens and they will always be in demand. **Buying Lands and Properties in the Metaverse** There is going to be a type of virtual land that can be used to build a house for your avatar and even other business places in the metaverse. Properties like in-game items can also be bought too, at the moment there are blockchain games where players can get hold of one in-game item. There are also reports that a crypto gamer sold one of such items on a popular marketplace for over $20,000 this year. Imagine the value of such an item in a few years to come. If you are quick to join the metaverse quickly then you can buy some of these lands and properties including wearables. **Metaverse NFTs** Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will play a huge role in the development and adoption of the metaverse. This is because people will be able to move their virtual assets across different metaverses easily and seamlessly. NFTs are digital assets that come in different forms including art and game collectibles. Owning some potential NFTs that would be needed in the NFTs at an early stage can end up being a wise investment. You stand a chance to make real money by investing in some of the NFTs. **Rounding up** The concept is relatively new and there are a lot of opportunities to make money that will come out of the metaverse. For now, these are some of the methods that I think can be used by investors to make money when the metaverse is launched. There are a lot of investment opportunities that will come as time goes by but early investors are mostly those that profit more. At the moment I am currently looking at some metaverse tokens and that is where I want to start my investment journey. if you have any investment suggestions that I missed feel free to share them in the comment section with others. we want to know and take advantage of investing early ***Disclaimer: this is not financial advice make sure you carry out some research before using any of the investment methods listed above. I also advise you not to invest all of your life savings into any of the metaverse projects above.*** **Subscribe to my YouTube Channel means a lot to me** https://www.youtube.com/audububa

Twitter Building a Crypto Team It shouldn’t be a surprise that Twitter is building a crypto team especially given that the CEO Jack Dorsey has only #bitcoin on his Twitter bio. Recently twitter added bitcoin tips and they also have NFTs. Twitter has been interested in cryptocurrency and other decentralized technologies for a while now. Yesterday Twitter announced that they are building a crypto team that will aim to be a center for excellence for all things related to Blockchain and Web3. The team will be tasked to explore crypto payments and opportunities for creators to monetize their content on the platform. They will also work on decentralized social media which is part of the general movement towards web3. According to a Twitter thread from Tess Rinearson, the engineer tapped to lead the team, Twitter crypto wants to “help push the boundaries of what’s possible with identity, community, and ownership. This is going to be Twitter's push towards decentralizing the platform and letting it run on a blockchain rather than on servers hosted by businesses. The idea is that this will give individual users more say over their data and privacy. Some researchers are still worried about how decentralized standards would work with content moderation. Because there is a lot of extremist and political content on Twitter. Twitter crypto will work with a nascent Twitter-sponsored initiative called BlueSky which aims to build an “open decentralized standard for social media”. They aim to build a social network that is controlled by no one even though the development is being carried out by Twitter. Twitter is not the only social media platform working to integrate crypto and blockchain technology into its platform. Earlier this week Discord founder and CEO Jason Citron tweeted that Discord is working closely with MetaMask a popular crypto wallet. Reddit is also hiring engineers for an NFT platform.
Three (3) Reasons Why The Price Of Solana is Rising Solana is a decentralized blockchain built to enable scalable, user-friendly apps for the world. This digital Token has been growing increasingly popular since June. The price has skyrocketed immensely and some traders are already calling it Ethereum killer. The cryptocurrency has appreciated by more than 15,000% this year alone. It serves as the native token for the SOL platform and it hit an all-time high of $245 earlier today. SOL overtook tether USDT as the fourth largest cryptocurrency market capitalization. It has been one of the most impressive crypto assets of 2021 and it is currently one of the most talked-about coins at the moment. well here are the top 3 reasons why Solana’s price keeps getting high. **3 Reasons Why the Price of Solana Keeps Getting Higher** **Low Transaction Fees and Speed** One of the biggest reasons why the price of SOL keeps getting high is the continuous acceptance it is getting from crypto enthusiasts because of how fast it is. The low transaction fee is a contributing factor that is making the fanbase bigger daily. Solana can process at least 50,000 transactions in a second, it cost less than $0.01 per transaction. Ethereum on the other hand process 15 to 45 per second and it will cost between $0.012 to $50.53 per transaction. The gas fee of ETH got high and it saw more people carrying out transactions in SOL rather than ETH. **Solana Moved into NFT** Solana like Ethereum joined the NFT market in partnership with Degenerate Apes. Their sales hit almost $500 in 3 months alone. Sales are carried out using SOL and it is one of the reasons why the price of SOL keeps getting high. **Developers Favorite Blockchain** Solana is Ethereum’s biggest rival a lot of developers have moved to Solana’s blockchain as a result of the congestion and high fees on the Ethereum blockchain. This move is also one of the biggest reasons why Solana is now a top-tier coin. Solana has the potential to keep soaring high it’s a project I am excited about. A lot of digital assets are claiming to be Ethereum Killer but SOL is the true ETH killer. If there are any reasons you think SOL is rising that I missed, feel free to share in the comments below. ***Disclaimer: this is not financial advice in any way the crypto market is highly volatile and you should only invest what you can afford to lose.*** ***A big thank you to my Sponsor***

Facebook Metaverse: How Cryptocurrencies and NFTs will be Used Metaverse is currently the next big thing, left to me it is bigger than Elon Musk’s Space X project aimed at taking people to the moon. Cryptocurrency is changing the digital world already I can only imagine what could be achieved when the metaverse is paired with some digital currencies. Well, today we are going to take a look at the cryptocurrencies that could get an early shot in the metaverse. Facebook announced their new project called “metaverse” which would be a combination of web applications built around virtual reality and simulated environments. Who wants to travel to mars when you can travel inside the internet. The thought of traveling into a virtual world while seated in your room has got me excited. Metaverse will feature different virtual reality features but the one that I am most interested in is how crypto and NFTs will work in the platform. At this point, I can only point out the cryptocurrencies that will work not sure. We are going to have fun in the comment section below by talking about different cryptos that you think will make it to the metaverse. One thing though while Facebook is not the only platform working on a metaverse at the moment they have taken the bold step of declaring their next step. **Which Cryptocurrencies will make it to the Metaverse?** While Elon Musk is taking Doge to the moon Facebook has been working on their crypto wallet Novi. Novi will be integrated into the metaverse which only makes more sense as to why Facebook has been working on a crypto project. The name was initially Diem but they changed it to Novi earlier this year. Novi will be the first crypto that will work in the metaverse. Facebook's head of finance David Marcus has also suggested that Novi will support NFTs but he didn’t give details with regards to how it will work. Bitcoin is going to keep growing bigger and I see it becoming a means of payment in the metaverse. It will work alongside Novi to give users options and I am sure entrepreneurs and brands that will offer services in the metaverse will have the means to accept any digital currency in the metaverse. Ethereum is one of the top cryptocurrencies and I see it listed in the metaverse because of NFTs. Their blockchain is the most popular blockchain for minting and creating NFTs. Feel free to list any cryptocurrency that you think will be accepted in the metaverse. **NFTs will Get Bigger in the Metaverse** Facebook executive Vishal Shah says that the metaverse will support NFTs and it will allow users to showcase those tokens. This statement was made in an announcement on the 28th of October. “This will make it easier for people to sell Limited Edition digital objects like NFTs, display them in their digital spaces, and even sell them to the next person securely.” It is not yet clear which blockchain NFTs will be drawn from. We can all agree that Ethereum will be supported in the metaverse because it is the most popular blockchain for NFT creation. Facebook can also extend its blockchain to support NFTs, or use a lesser-known blockchain. Well, it is still not clear as to which blockchain will be used to create NFTs in the metaverse. Suggest any blockchain that you think can be used to support NFTs in the virtual world. A lot of things will be refined with the metaverse not just NFTs even virtual workplaces and concerts will become a norm in the virtual world. It will take a decade before the metaverse will achieve its full potential but the CEO of Facebook said they have the full list of applications that will work in the metaverse. **Cryptocurrency Virtual Projects** A lot of people have been trying to create a way in which we can travel into the virtual world. In 2020 Decentraland was created and it was one of the most anticipated virtual worlds in blockchain history. The project faded after its launch but its cryptocurrency MANA made a brief comeback and appreciated by 400% at the time Facebook announced metaverse. Another project called CryptoVoxels is built on the Ethereum blockchain uses NFTs as deeds for the virtual land. Users also display their NFTs on the platform. The project doesn’t have its token which I feel is having an impact on the platform. There is a Minecraft-like game on Ethereum called The Sandbox and it just closed a $93 million investment headed by Softbank. The game has its dedicated token. This is just to give you a small idea of how NFTs will work in Facebook's metaverse and Facebook will have to learn from the failures of these brands to succeed. I am also sure that there are going to be a lot of virtual games in the virtual world.
Facebook Metaverse: What you Need to Know Metaverse has been buzzing on the internet ever since Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook was going to change its name to Meta. the metaverse is a futuristic idea, and mark was the first person to pioneer that movement. If you didn’t know what metaverse means then after reading this you will understand why it’s a futuristic idea after reading. Facebook is still going to retain its name but the overall company name is now Meta. Meta is the umbrella that covers Facebook, Instagram, Oculus, and WhatsApp. It is similar to Alphabet being the parent company of Google, YouTube, and others. Although Mark Zuckerberg cannot be credited for coining the name “Metaverse” he is the first person trying to make it a reality. The concept is to use virtual reality and other technologies to travel into the meta. well, let’s define Metaverse. **What is Metaverse?** In simple terms, we can say that metaverse is the internet brought to life by rendering it in 3D. according to Zuckerberg, he explained it is a “virtual environment” you can go inside the metaverse instead of just looking at it on the screen. It is going to be an endless world of connected virtual communities where people can meet, work, and play using virtual headsets, augmented reality glasses, smartphone apps, and other gadgets. The metaverse will also make online shopping easier and incorporate some aspects of social media. It will also improve the online teaching process as students and teachers can link up online through the metaverse. The metaverse holds a lot of positive potentials but there are some negatives as well. This is going to be the next evolution of the internet and I see people having a virtual life aside from their real life soon. **What will people do in the Metaverse?** The metaverse is going to bring fun in numerous ways for example I already see musicians organizing concerts in the metaverse and having people from all over the world attending. You can travel to various locations virtually once you have your virtual gadgets on. You can go shopping I mean real-life shopping virtually. For those that work from home, the metaverse is going to be a gamechanger I can imagine co-workers in a virtual office working together. If you watch Mark Zuckerberg’s presentation he used a work environment to showcase what could happen in the metaverse. In September 2020 Mark Zuckerberg was hosted by popular tech youtuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) and he briefly explained how Marques could use the metaverse to connect with his subscribers and even let them touch and use certain phones. At the moment Microsoft and Nvidia are also working on a metaverse but we are not certain with regards to how things will turn out to be. However, these technology giants must work together if they want the metaverse to be seamless. They have to agree on simple terms and standards for the metaverse. **Is facebook going all in on the metaverse?** Metaverse is the number one priority of facebook at the moment. Zuckerberg sees it as the next big thing on the internet. The world is becoming more and more digital we even have digital assets and currencies right now. He wants to position himself as the pioneer of the metaverse and that’s why he is going all-in with the project. Facebook has a controversial record with a lot of privacy issues. That is one of the reasons why he rebranded the company and names it, Meta. it shows the new direction that Zuckerberg has found for his company. **Is Facebook the only company working on a Metaverse?** No, as I said earlier Microsoft and Nvidia are also working on building a Metaverse but right now we don’t know what it's going to look like. I believe a lot of companies are already building and testing virtual worlds in the metaverse. In the same way, there are different companies doing things on the internet. According to Richard Kerris, Vice President of Nvidia Omniverse platform “it is important to be open and extensible, so you can teleport to different worlds whether its by one company or the other same way I go from one webpage to another. Video gaming company Epic Games, is also taking a leading role in building a metaverse. Their popular game Minecraft has raised over a billion dollars from investors to help with its long-term plan of building a metaverse. Roblox is another giant gaming platform that is also interested in creating a metaverse. There are also going to be some consumer brands that will participate in the metaverse by selling digital accessories in the metaverse. If you have any questions regarding the metaverse feel free to ask them in the comments below.
WhatsApp will STOP Working on These Phones WhatsApp is one of the most used instant messaging apps that is used by many Android and IOS users. It is used by many people to connect with friends, family, and business associates. Some months ago, Facebook the parent company of WhatsApp announced that if you are using a phone that is running an older version of IOS or Android then your phone won’t be able to access WhatsApp. They went ahead and shared a list of devices that would not be compatible with the instant messaging app. Starting November 1st Android phones running on version 4.0.3 or lower will not support WhatsApp. Apple iPhones that are running on IOS 9 and lower will not support WhatsApp. WhatsApp will work on IOS 10 and above and if you are on android then you need a device running Android on version 4.1 and above which is otherwise known as jelly bean. Some surprising devices are on the list that I am going to share below considering the fact they are still used by a lot of people to date. Here is a list of some important phones that will not support WhatsApp again. **WhatsApp won't Work on These Phones again** Samsung Galaxy SII Galaxy Trend 2 Galaxy Core Galaxy Ace 2 Galaxy S3 mini iPhone SE iPhone 6s iPhone 6s Plus Lenovo A820 HTC Desire 500 Xperia Neo L Xperia Arc S THL W8 Of all the devices listed above the one that surprises me the most is the iPhone 6s and 6s plus. I haven’t been able to come across anyone using the phone to confirm if WhatsApp is working on the phone or not. According to WhatsApp, the app will stop working on the devices above because they will not support the new features they plan on adding to the instant messaging app. Let us know in the comments if you know anyone that uses any of the phones listed above and if they still have WhatsApp on their phone

They don’t work with any publishers like some crypto advert networks do as they currently work with not more than 20 publishers at the time of writing. They only partner with publishers that have hundreds of thousands of traffic that are organic. As an advertiser, you will get access to an account manager that is going to help you get the best out of your advert. Payment on the platform is only in USD on a monthly basis and has no minimum payment threshold. **Pros** Great customer care High-quality organic traffic Clean user interface (easy to understand) **Cons** · Payment in USD only · Very strict to publishers **Coinmedia.co** Coinmedia has an easy-to-use interface that sets it apart from other crypto advert networks. It is more of an anonymous advertising platform. Registration for publishers and advertisers is straight forward they don’t ask for too much information. They offer pop-up ads and banners to those that are interested in placing adverts. Payment and withdrawals are done in Bitcoin (BTC). The minimum you can spend on an advert is 0.005 Bitcoins while the withdrawal limit for publishers is 0.004 Bitcoin. You have complete control over where you want your ads to be seen even though prices may differ. I see the platform as a decentralized advert platform where publishers and advertisers can connect and decide what happens in terms of adverts. **Pros** · Friendly user interface · Anonymous platform (doesn’t require too much information) · Advertisers have complete control over where to advertise **Cons** · High withdrawal rate for publishers **What is a crypto advertising network?** A crypto advertising network can be simply said to be a platform that offers crypto-related promotions. There are platforms out there that can bring your crypto-related business in front of the right audience. Banners and pop-up ads will be posted on your behalf on crypto-related websites and applications. this will bring your blockchain product or NFT platform in front of people that are interested in your product. Using a crypto advertising platform, you are guaranteed to get high-quality traffic that will surely bring customers to your business. **Why should you use a crypto advertising network?** The reason is simple, if you have a crypto-related product then a crypto advertising network will put your product in front of an audience that will be interested in your product. Platforms like Facebook already have strong restrictions against crypto adverts. A crypto ad network is the right place to promote your crypto-related product. **Conclusion** Using a crypto advertising network will bring in more traffic to your website and even go further to convert some of them to customers. if you are just starting out with ads on crypto platforms then it will be better if you experiment with multiple platforms. The services they offer differ from each other and it's always better to test various platforms before picking the best one for your crypto-related business.
eNaira - Everything you Need to Know the central bank digital currency (CBDC) that would be used by Nigerians was officially launched on Monday, by the President of the country. the name eNaira has already been announced for a while now but the project officially kicked off days ago. eNaira was developed by a fintech firm based in the Caribbean named Bitt. The Central Bank governor announced that 500 million eNaira which is equal to ($1.2million) has already been minted. The CBDC app was launched on the google play store and after about 24 hours the app was taken down from the play store as a result of bad reviews. Users had difficulties using the app and some even complained about not being able to register. As of the time of writing this the app is now available on the play store. Nigeria is among the few countries that officially have a CBDC in a later article I will share the list of all the countries that have a digital currency. The main reason why I am writing this here is to tell you all the important things you need to know about the new digital currency. I overheard my friends saying they will buy as much eNaira as possible with the hope of making gains later. I had to explain things to them and that is why this article is very important. If by the end of this article you find useful information please share it with your loved ones so they don’t get scammed or waste money investing in digital currency. **eNaira: the important things you should know** **it is Backed by the Naira** the official currency used and accepted in Nigeria is Naira. so, the eNaira is coming in as the digital version of the naira. it is issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria in line with section 19 of the CBN. the digital asset is a direct liability of the Central Bank. It is built on a blockchain open ledger that prevents duplication of fake units. According to the CBN, each eNaira will be different and unique. **It is not a cryptocurrency** This is one of the major areas where people will get it wrong because it is a digital currency that doesn’t mean it is a crypto. It is backed by the Nigerian government whereas cryptocurrencies are decentralized and not controlled by anybody. The digital coin has a legal tender that represents physical cash. The eNaira has the same value as the naira. it is only a way of easing transactions and reducing the need for paper cash. **1 naira = 1 eNaira** The eNaira and physical paper naira will be in circulation together. They will be on par and even if you stack it up to the moon the value will never change. It's not going to be a project you can make gains from like we have seen with Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies. **How will Nigerians Hold the eNaira?** Everyone that downloads the app and registers will get a wallet. That is the only way the eNaira will be accessible. Without a wallet, you won’t be able to hold digital currency. It will also be exchangeable with other Central bank digital currencies. **Will there be charges for using the eNaira**? The CBN has stated that for the first 90 days charges for transactions with the eNaira will be free. applicable charges will be applied once the 90 days ultimatum elapses. Official statements on how much will be charged haven’t been made clear. If you have any other questions regarding the usage of the eNaira feel free to ask them in the comments below.
Self Introduction - Who am i? I guess I made a mistake I started writing contents on this platform without introducing myself. My name is Abubakar Abdullahi and I’m a Nigerian and proud. i was introduced to read.cash by my good friend techie Abba who has been a long-time member of the BCH community in Nigeria. I have a B.Sc. in political science and I graduated in 2018. I started my career as a content writer and blogger in March 2018. One of the major reasons why I ventured into content writing was to be able to sustain myself after the university. Nigerians don’t always have it the easy way employment opportunities are very scarce you must be smart to beat the system. Now, before I ventured into writing and blogging I have always been in love with smartphones, laptops, and handheld gadgets. In my family and neighborhood, I was seen as a specialist with smartphones and laptops. whenever someone had difficulties with their devices I was always the one they will contact. I was always excited whenever I helped people fix software related issues on their laptops and smartphones. As you should expect picking up the topic to write about was very easy it came right out of pure passion for mobile phones, laptops and gadgets. I started writing in 2019 and I still remember the first thing I wrote about “Faceapp: what you need to know”. I wrote it at a time when the whole of social media used the app and it had certain privacy policies that was cruel to user. They could use your images later without your approval. Since then I have gone over to write over 500 articles, I have used and reviewed over 40 phones and other tech gadgets I can’t mention. In late 2020, I was able to land a job with bitnewsbot.com a very large crypto platform and since I was already tech inclined I was quick to know how the world of crypto work. I went on to write a lot of articles and news of what was happening in the crypto world. To stay updated I always read news and articles of happening in the crypto and smartphone world. Right until this day I still enjoy writing and it is something I don’t think I will ever stop. And oh, I also have a YouTube channel where I review smartphones I am not good with video editing though I haven’t found time to learn but I really want to. **My Dream** So, I have a dream that starting next year I am going to travel across Nigeria and possibly Africa. During my travels I am going to continue writing about the places that I have been, while reviewing the latest smartphones that are available. At the moment I don’t even know how I am going to achieve that but I am firm believer that all things are possible. Any support towards achieving my goals will be appreciated. **Why I am here** Ever since techie Abba told me about this platform cash I picked interest immediately. It came naturally because I am already a writer. Since I came on board I have read some nice articles and I am also here to add mine especially in term of smartphone reviews, crypto news, tutorials and guides as well as travel stories when I start travelling next year. If you are interested in stuffs like that make sure you give me a follow. I will also try to engage with interesting contents on this platform and also connect and make new friends here. **How i will contribute to Bitcoin Cash in Nigeria** As a content creator I believe I have what it takes to showcase the importance of adopting Bitcoin cash as a means of payment. I have already attended one of the virtual meeting that was organized by the BCH team in Nigeria. Hopefully they will organize more and I am willing to contribute to the success of the team moving forward. Hopefully this will help you know me and where I am from. Stay tuned for engaging contents from me on read.cash
iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 13 - Which one is for you? Its been over 30 days since Apple released the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 pro. a lot of iPhone users are still in dilemma on which iPhone they should buy between the two. Here today on read cash I am going to share my honest opinion on which one you should get between the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Pro. The new iPhone 13 series comes with improved battery life and is one of the biggest camera upgrades on an iPhone in a while. Both smartphones share certain similarities as well as differences. The iPhone 13 has a starting price of $799 for the base model with 128GB storage it can go up to $999 for the 512GB model. As for the iPhone 13 Pro, it comes in at a price of $999 for the base model with 128GB and it can go as high as $1499 for the 1TB model. The big question is should you spend the extra $200 to buy the iPhone 13 Pro over the Regular iPhone 13? This post will help give you an idea of the right one for you. **iPhone 13 vs iPhone 13 Pro – which one was made for you?** **Design Aspect Comparison** All the iPhone 13 series devices this year come with a smaller notch when compared side by side with the iPhone 12. Apple confirmed in their event that the notch was released by 20% but when you have it in your hands you will be quick to forget that. Being honest the design coming from iPhone 12 didn’t change that much. The iPhone 13 and 13Pro are just a little bit thicker than their predecessors from last year. We have a new set of cameras on the iPhone 13 and 13 pro this year and we have the dual cameras of the 13 arranged diagonally. The iPhone 13 Pro has three cameras and the bump is relatively large. Apple used a textured matte glass for the rear of the 13 Pro which is more premium. They used the standard glass we are used to for the iPhone 13. The frame on the 13 pro is made of stainless steel while that of the 13 is made of aluminum. Both phones are dust and water-resistant by the way. There is nothing much in the design aspect that will make you decide on which one to buy. **iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 13 – Display** the iPhone 13 pro and 13 both have the same display size at 6.1 inches which is okay for one handed usage. They both have the new Super XDR OLED display which is bright outdoors. Talking about brightness the iPhone 13 has 800 nits of brightness and it peaks at 1200 nits in HDR mode. On the iPhone 13 Pro, we have 1000 nits of brightness and it maxes out at 1200 nits outdoor. The display of the 13 pro is typically brighter when placed side by side. Well here comes the biggest difference we have a 120Hz refresh rate on the iPhone 13 Pro. Apple calls it a ProMotion display and it is an adaptive refresh rate. The display on the 13 Pro can go from 120Hz down to 10Hz depending on the area you are scrolling at a time it also saves battery. The high refresh rate makes scrolling smoother and it also brings out animation better. The iPhone 13 misses out on the feature and it's sad to see honestly. High refresh rate display has been prominent on android phones since 2019 and even sub $300 android phones come with a high refresh rate panel nowadays. In this aspect, the iPhone 13 Pro is surely ahead of the iPhone 13. **Performance – iPhone 13 vs iPhone 13** All the new iPhones that were released this year come with the new Apple A15 Bionic chip. The chipset is built on a 5-nanometer process and comes with six processor cores. Apple claims the A15 Bionic is 50% faster than the leading chipset it's competing with and we all know it’s the Snapdragon 888 by Qualcomm. In terms of the GPU, the iPhone 13 has four while the 13 Pro has five and they both perform well. They are better than their android competition by 30% and 50% respectively. If you want to play games on your iPhone then I advise you to buy the 13Pro because of the higher graphics performance and adaptive refresh rate. **Battery Aspect** Apple improves battery across all the new iPhone 13 series devices this year. The iPhone 13 Pro has an amazing battery life and you can get over 8 hours of screen on time under heavy usage. Using the iPhone 13 you are guaranteed to get almost 8 hours of screen on time under heavy usage. Battery life on both devices has been improved upon coming from the iPhone 12s. you can get a full day of battery life on both phones if you are a casual user. They improved the charging speed slightly but when it comes to charging speed they still can’t beat some cheap android phones. The 13Pro still has a better battery life but the battery of the iPhone 13 is also decent. **Camera Comparison – iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 13** All the new sets of iPhones come with improved cameras and we have dual cameras on the iPhone 13 and triple cameras on the 13 Pro. the main sensor on the iPhone 13s is a new 12MP main camera and it has improved night photography. We also have a new faster 12MP ultrawide sensor that delivers impressive details. Apple was hesitant to introduce macro mode but the macro mode on the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 is amazing. It is the best macro camera on a smartphone I’ve had enough of the crappy 2MP macro cameras Android manufacturers give us. The macro mode is better on the iPhone 13 Pro without a doubt. We have an extra telephoto camera on the 13 Pro that is lacking on the iPhone 13. The camera delivers solid zooming ability on the iPhone 13. In terms of video, we have the new cinematic mode that is great but I’m sure Apple will improve it. both phones can shoot 4K at 60 frames per second with all cameras and they are the best smartphones for videography you can buy. The cinematic mode gives you great autofocus and depth of field we can call it portrait mode video. iPhone 13 Pro has the advantage in video by using ProRez, the feature is targeted at professionals that want the best video possible. **Final Verdict** The iPhone 13 is the best iPhone for everyone but if you want more in terms of battery, camera, and display they the 13 Pro is the best. To get the best photography and video then you should accept paying the extra money for the Pro model. The high refresh rate might also be a game-changer and a solid reason why you get the 13Pro ahead of the 13. if you have any questions regarding any of the phones we talked about here then feel free to ask in the comments.

QCY HT03 Review - Best Cheap ANC Earbud The QCY HT03 is one of the best cheap wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation and great sound quality. on paper, the earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.1 and 40dB active noise cancellation. It has AAC and SBC codecs for producing higher sound quality. The earbud has ambient mode and it also comes with a companion app that can be used to customize the earbud. Welcome to the QCY HT03 review where we break down all there is to know about the ANC earbuds. It comes in at a price of $40 and every now and then you can get discounts if you check AliExpress. The buds are currently competing with the Mpow X3 in terms of how affordable a pair of ANC earbuds can be. QCY has a lot of affordable earbuds and the HT03 is not different. It has an amazing battery life that lasts for 6 hours on a single charge. The charging case can be used to charge the earbuds four times when it's low. We are going to explore everything right here starting with the unboxing of the earbud. **QCY HT03 Unboxing** · 2x pair of wireless earbuds · 1x pair of the Charging case · USB Type-C charging cable · 3x Silicon ear tips · Documentation Check the latest price on AliExpress **QCY HT03 Review – Best Cheap Earbuds with ANC** **QCY HT03 Sound Quality** The most important aspect of any earbud is the sound it comes first before any other feature. it has 10mm drivers that deliver that punchy bass. The buds try to let the lower and mid-tones shine all the time. There are times when it gets a bit muddy. If you are used to using high-end earbuds then you will quickly discover the weakness in the sound quality. don’t get me wrong for the price of $40 it is difficult to beat what the QCY HT03 offers in terms of sound quality. There are times when vocals tend to struggle when you are listening to country, rock, or blues. Sound quality is mostly better with the active noise cancellation turned off. You get more clarity and the mids become more open. The sound quality is not over the top but it's decent. the ANC is one of the major reasons why you are considering this earbud at first place more details about that in a bit. The sound stage is big and the buds keep you in the middle while listening to music. While streaming content there is minimal latency and the buds are good for watching movies too. You need to get the right seals for your ear to get the best sound quality. they come with four mics and making calls are okay as well. **QCY HT03 Review – Design and Ergonomics** Looking at the case you know it looks cheap to some extent but it is very well designed. The case has some sparkles to it and it's not the normal glossy case we are used to. It will fit easily into your bag or pocket without any stress. The lid of the case is not firm and can close itself if not held. It looks like the generic cases you can find on some cheap earbuds but the finish is premium. There is a tiny LED light inside the case that indicates when the buds are charging. we also have another one outside that notifies you about the state of the charging case. the button at the back is used to check the battery percentage. The QCY logo is on top of the lid and the case has a type C charging port at the bottom. It looks like the case of the Realme buds if you are familiar with that. With the case, you can recharge the buds four times from zero to a hundred when they are low. The case holds the buds firmly and they don’t wobble while resting inside. We have a stem-style earbud that is lightweight and fits perfectly in the ear. in terms of design, the buds somehow resemble the Haylou W1. It has a sleek finish and a smart design by the QCY team. There are tiny microphones on the buds that let you get clear calls from the microphone. The buds have touch controls and the stem on both buds has a specific area designed for that. Design is okay and even if you put them on for long periods your ears won’t be tired. **QCY HT03 Review - Connectivity and Touch Controls** Connectivity is great the buds use Bluetooth 5.1 and the moment you open the lids you get a pop-up if you have the app. It can be used within 10 meters away from your phone which is standard for most Earbuds. Connectivity is fast and latency is quite minimal it has a gaming mode that helps with latency. It has AAC and SBC codecs that help with high-quality audio. In terms of touch controls, you just have to pinch the lower part of the stem gently to command the buds. It's kind of like what we have on the Airpods Pro by apple but it’s a bit different. **QCY HT03 Touch Controls** · Pinch the left/right buds two times to play or pause music · For ANC, pinch the right buds for 1.5 seconds, the same thing applies to turn the ANC off. · Pinch the left earbud for 1.5 seconds to activate low latency gaming mode, the same thing applies to turn it off. · To skip to the next track, pinch the right earbud three times · Pinch the left earbud three times to summon google assistant The controls can be changed using the QCY app by adding single pinches. You can decide to add volume controls on the buds which is something I personally enjoy using on a pair of wireless earbuds. the app gives you the freedom to play around with the touch controls. **QCY HT03 – Active Noise Cancellation** Given the price of the QCY HT03 it's surprising to see the quality of active noise cancellation it comes with. The active noise cancellation shuts down external noise from afar and lets you focus on work or music. It is natural which is something I really appreciate and it's not forced in any way. The buds don’t completely cut out loud sounds but people talking or soft sounds are blocked completely. They manage to shine in an area where even premium buds struggle. Wind noise does come in especially with transparency mode turned on. Transparency mode lets you know about your surrounding while still listening to music. The mode on the QCY HT03 is not the best but you can use it if you want to play music and talk to people. **QCY HT03 review – the app and battery life** The QCY HT03 is supported by an app just like all other QCY buds support the app. It is available on Android and iPhone to download for free. using the app, you will be able to monitor the battery status of the buds, update firmware, switch between ANC and transparency mode. With the app, you can activate gaming mode, and create your own custom EQ. I find the app helpful and interesting to use it improves the overall experience while using the buds. Battery life is great with ANC turned on you get 5 hours of listening time without ANC you get 6 hours of music playback time. Charging takes up to two hours because the charging case lacks a fast charging feature. **QCY HT03 Price and Availability** The QCY HT03 buds come in at a starting price of $39.99 on AliExpress you can buy them HERE. As far as noise-canceling earbuds go they are some of the cheapest you can find in the market right now. they have amazing features and customization that make them fun to use. **Rounding up - QCY HT03 review** The QCY HT03 is easy to recommend for those that want ANC on an earbud and don’t want to spend much. It has a sweet feature especially the companion app and how it fits in the ear. the sound might not be its strongest point but it is still very acceptable by me.
