This afternoon, in my third MTG of the day, I learned that a checklists we've finished since last week will be revised. Working with my colleagues gives me sense of family, helping one another to finish a goal. We gave each other strength when doing a particular task so it will not be a burden to our division head. Never mind Omicron, few kilometers from our place, malls started to fill up. Last Tuesday, food courts I have noticed were full of mall goers, signs that people's mindset are thinking that pandemic is fading. Even our government lifted the Alert Level. On my way to LTO office inside a mall the other day, I noticed that I am in a part of the mall where it's a new extension, can't believe that during pandemic time they still expand the space but for what. Then I chance my eldest making his assignments in his subject, then I learned that he is using a 2.5 thick handbook for Chemical Engineering student. I've never seen a dining table with a pot of decorative plant on top of it until yesterday, this is a nice idea for me. I learned from so many media postings that there are advance celebration of Valentine's day today because it will be workday tomorrow and they don't like any hassles. Also, cost of chocolates shoots up and so with scarsity. So much so the supply of roses, today it's almost gone due to this advance celebration. I am wondering why we have this valentine's, why chocolate and roses where expressions of love should be everyday.

Mixed up...I've been with successive meetings today that it's almost overlap due to time extensions of some meetings. Such a delight for me to eat in Mang Inasal restaurant, a simple grilled chicken with a sauce of mixed kalamansi, Toyo and chicken oil. If a cup of rice is not enough, included in the meal is unlimited cup of rice. The whole set is match with a delicious sinigang soup. We left the City of Baguio 6 hours ago, enjoyed our stay even in few days. Burnham Park is still the same with a bit of renovation and now with a big crowd.
