You must know my family Life was never been easy for us. We've struggled financially, physically, mentally and emotionally. Yes! Because once you are not financially stable, everything in the inner you will be affected and distracted. **But not this one thing.** When we were still elementary, we have tried selling different homemade foods such as ice candies, candies, banana chips, and everything that our mom had made j**ust to survive and help them out in sustaining our daily needs.** We've been **bullied, belittled, underestimated, stepped-on, and cursed.** Our house is only made up of **bamboo having sacks as our curtains.** But guess what? My **mother is such an organized woman**. She don't want anything goes messy and untidy. **We're poor, but we're neat!** Because we were very poor, maybe much poorer than you could imagine, that's why people say that **it is very impossible for our parents to make us all finish our studies.** We are all 8 in the family, with 2 sons and 4 daughters - and I'm the youngest. **Father** had tried different jobs like **delivering bread, selling fishes, being a construction worker** and many other sidelines that he could possibly do. While **mom**, **had an illness**. Let's not just name it here, but it quite **distracts her breathing, strength, capability to endure heavy work, and of course, beauty!** The beauty that she inherited from her mixed Castilian and Japanese parents, with a little Filipino icing! (Just kidding) But you know what? Despite all of the problems we've bore for how many years eversince we've come to this world, they have always been selfless in love just to cover up the presence of imperfection in our lives. They have been too supportive to us and they made us feel that life maybe so unfair, but **leaning onto the arms of God, all things are beautiful.** Yes! I'm the youngest, and the only one who remained studying now! All of my brothers are professionals having a very good job and family already. My sisters now are very much successful, having **no boyfriend since birth** and never ever tried having an affair. Our route is always home, school and church only. But all these are not gonna happen, without Jesus. He hath made us who we are today with our parents. Do you know why? Coz although we are very very poor, we grew up in a Christian home where God was the center of our lives. Our treasures are not in this world, but in heaven above! We maybe financially, physically, mentally and emotionally broke, but our spiritual one is as a roaring lion in strength with God. Now, who says that poverty is a hindrance to a bright future? Know yourself (Humility vs Pride) Humility is **accepting** corrections over and over again. Pride is **rejecting** corrections saying "I've been hearing this over and over again". Humility is **listening** to the wisdom of the lowly people, even if you're a millionaire. Pride is **declining** to listen, thinking about "I am more than you." Now, which one are you? The things you achieved, the medals you've won, the certificates you've gained, the tons of money you owned, the luxurious things you could afford, and the fame you get - remember that behind all these, are the lowly people in the economy, persevering in farms, working in factories and etc., who fed the wealthy ones. The moment they'll stop working, your world will stop turning. Rejecting the poor means rejecting yourself because all you have right now, was the product of their sacrifices. I didn't say that the richer ones are bad because every one of us has its dark side. But just because mostly of them are abusing the poor, and being blinded by money and power, that's why I say this. Mystery in Cathedral Falls (a creepy one) Did you know? Cathedral falls is one of the tourist attractions in the province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines due to its magnificent rock formations. See the picture. Many people also enjoyed playing and swimming there because of the cold waters **rushing down from the mountains into the plains of the land to water the ricefields and farmlands of the people.** It has also a 100-step stair if you want to go to the peak of the said Waterfalls. Though it sets a famous landmark to the province, it is also **known for its many mysteries.** **People living near the falls often hears a lullaby with a beautiful unraveled voice. It don't usually occur every night but quite mostly. Some may say that it may be due to the rushing waters, various trees, and different kinds of species living there. But either which of the two, it always gives a creepy feeling to the people living there. Which one could be true? What do you think?** **Another one is, it was once told that there was a maiden drowned into the deep pan-shaped underground of the waterfalls ( this shape occurs because of the impact of the falling waters) a long time ago, and went missing.** The maiden's family searched the whole place to find her but they couldn't. Divers said that the underwater was so plain **with no grasses but empty rocks.** Until **2 years had passed**, the maidens family never stopped hoping to find her corpse. That time, the maiden's **boyfriend dared to find his beloved underneath the falls, although it has been 2 years already. As he dived into the deepest, there he saw his love being tied by the tall grasses, having the body not decayed.** Once the divers said that there were no grasses underwater, but when her lover dived in, there were a lot. WHAT TO DO? 1 **Realize that everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.** (Stay calm, don't judge) 2 **Reacting in a positive reassuring manner will produce better results.** (neglect negativity. They Murdered my lover We've been together for 6 long years. In those years, he made me feel how wonderful it is to be loved. He never failed to make me smile and laugh. He protected me, and always hug me in times of loneliness. He never let me feel the presence of imperfection. Until one day, my world turned upside down. My heart got broke, my knees lose the strength and my eyes gave up the greatest tears, as I watch him from afar full of blood and without life. All the happy moments of us flashed back while looking at his pitiful innocent face that once taught me the beauty of life. I've been longing for his love until now - the love that I will never ever have again. Because they murdered my lover... They murdered my beloved... Dedicated for the writers When you're a writer, you began to love your pen more than your friend. Why? Because it feels like, writing down your problems is much safer than telling it to someone that might betray you one day. Being a writer means writing down what your mind speaks or speaking what your mind is already writing. But we writers, sometimes don't write down what our mind is creating. Because we are sometimes failing to complete the story we tend to start. That is why we prefer on leaving those storylines on our minds and begin daydreaming of a character that doesn't even exist. We began to love them, tho we know that they couldn't love us back. And that's one of the saddest parts there. When a flower blooms, a life dies It's nice to see how flowers surround me. Different colors, some have amazing smells, while others have confusing ones. **They are amazing! People love them!** Then here comes a **newly born beautiful flower beside me**. Wow! I can touch its roots and it seems like it can't grow well because of me. As for a kid like me, it's a bit difficult to understand the perspectives of life. And as time passed by, we became lesser and lesser. Soon, people began to pluck us out. They said that ugly grasses like us should not meddle with the beautiful lives of flowers. My heart broke and it makes me wonder why life was so unfair. And these people... they only adore the beautiful beginnings of life but don't give value to the bitter endings of it - the ending that makes those happy memories worth it. photo (c) Mother Nature Network

The evening sorrow *"Do you remember the woman who supposed to endure a 9-month pregnancy?" ,* someone asked me. My tears slowly flow down my cheeks. *"She was very happy that time when she found out that it was a baby boy. She took care more of herself as the time is approaching for her to deliver.* *She relied on her lover as he gently took her hand to accompany her inside the car. The smile on her face seems to light up all the spinning planets in the universe. She was very happy.* *That night, she was very excited to visit the doctor on her 8th month.* *But miles apart their destination, the car crashed.* *Her lover cried so hard and carried her on his arms to the nearby hospital.* *But... they didn't make it. He lost them.",* he said. I asked the man what was the reason of the accident. And he said... *"Because that time, he had an affair with another woman. The woman was wroth because in the end, he still chose his wife. So, the woman intentionally bumped a truck on them",* he said. I sobbed even more, looking in the mirror, listening to myself while recalling that sorrowful night. I loved her, but only at the end I did realized it more. photo (c)- pinterest

How to succeed? Are you one of the many who struggle on succeeding a career and completing daily tasks? Let me share this lesson that my mentor had once taught me: 1 ***"SET GOALS (BE SURE TO REACH IT)"*** My mentor said that after you set goals, be sure to achieve it. Always make sure that you have a vision in life. But remember that a vision without a mission is POINTLESS. Once you have vision, your mission must be to achieve it. 2 *"****PRIORITIZE YOUR TASK ( FIRST THING FIRST)"*** You must learn to evaluate the most important task and make sure to do it first. Focus on your priority. 3 ***"SET DEADLINES"*** Do not be confident on making something for too long just because the deadline is not yet approaching. You have to finish it as soon as possible. Remember that in everyday there awaits a new task to accomplish. 4 ***"LINK YOUR ACTIONS TO YOUR GOALS"*** The last but not the least. Do not be lazy, especially on doing household chores. Why? Because a person's hardwork on duties begins on how determined he is with completing chores. Even if you have no assignments or homeworks to do, keep your mind busy and practice your brain to think creatively and systematcally. If you can't handle on doing household chores, how much more on working to achieve greater things? Link your actions to your goals!
