When the pandemic brought by the Corona virus struck the whole world a lot of people has been affected as there is a family member of them was died because of the virus, some have lost their jobs and some are closed their business. And I'm one of those people who is really affected by it mainly in the financial aspect of my life as I temporarily lost my job as a seafarer that time when I was sent back home from my company due to the economic downturn because of the virus that has banned for a while the whole operations of Cruise Ship Industry which I was working. And go home even with out my contract is still have 5 months left of it that I only managed to finish half of it.
And as we go home that time I was really very concerned about my future of my family because I'am the only who earns money and provide on everything what my family needs because I did not let my wife to continue her job that time as Salesperson in one company as soon as she give birth to our first child. It is really though especially the first two months that no money is coming in our pocket all is going outside. To the concerned that until when this the situatuion will continue like this I prayed to GOD to give us guidance and be strong on the situation that me and my family are facing right now. The next day me and my wife decided to make to try to cook some foods and try to sell it online and on the first day that we do it it was sold out and we get some re sellers also who orders from us and sell them to their customers. We cook mostly breads and deserts and even though the income is not so high as my salary on board we are very thankful that in a way we are able to earn an extra money to provide for our daily needs.
And aside from that mini food business I also try on how to earn money online which been giving me an extra money to survived on these pandemic. I earn through answering some paid surveys, mobile application that pays real money and especially this platform of read.cash that I knew already for 4 months now that not only give me extra income but to also help me achieve my dream before of being a writer and able to earn on writing on my articles of my own.
And as the smooth sailing of our mini food business and money making online in the last week of September an prayers of ours was answered by GOD when I was called by my agency to report to our office and to sign a contract because I already have scheduled to go back on worming on board on October 17.
And the process to be working back again on board overseas is not that so easy. At that moment I prayed to GOD to be negative the result so that I will be able to continue to flight in Italy where I will be working and to avoid also the circumstances for my family as if I get positive my family will test for Swab test also and may will get discrimination from my neighbors which is really stressful. And the results came the next day October 14 and thanks to GOD I was negative.
And so go on me and my colleagues able to take the flight in Italy where are flight is scheduled on October 15 at 0:45am in the Philippines. We take a flight first going to Abu Dhabi an 8 hours flight and afterwards we go on to a connecting flight to Milan Italy for a 6 hour flight.
And then after we arrived in Milan we were picked up by the agent and drove us to go to LA Spezia Italy an 3 hour drive and there we are sent to the Hotel for take a rest first for the day we arrived at the hotel October 15 4pm Italy time. And then on the next day October 16 in 9am in the morning we taken again another swab test for me and my colleague and after just 3 hours we received the results and it was negative and we rest for the while day in the hotel to be ready to embark in our ship the next day.
And finally we are here on board and able to embarked safe and sound, but we are still quarantine inside the ship for 7 days as the mandatory health protocols here on board. We are not allowed to go out side our cabin and and only delivered our food by other crew on board. On the 6th day of quarantine we will be having again a swab test and on the 7th day when the results come and turns negative we are able to work on board again.
In these hard times because of the pandemic that we are facing now we must always be keep in touch with GOD as all of this is just a trials and a bump on the road that on the end everything will be fine and alright in his God's way as the most important thing is that we must never lose our faith in him. Thompson which is from Dallas Texas, is having an extra job of selling eggs, milk and breads in a small place in their company. The employee of their company is so busy and always in a hurry and they like the service of Thompson.
The service he is giving is very convenient that is why his customers liked it a lot. He focused on his small business and because of his hardwork his business started to grow. And later on he actually buy the company where he is working.Since then Joe started to put branches of his convenience stores in Texas.
Before his convenience stores was called 7-11 it was actually called first the "TOT'EM STORE" it based on the statue which called Totem that was bought by one of the executive of the company of Joe. This statue has became lucky for them when they put in one of their busiest store in Texas. And that is why the company have already adapted the name TOT'EM.
In 1946 the company have changed their business hours in all their stores which they opens at 7am in the morning and then closed 11pm in the night.

1: Before to sleep in the night it is much better for us to write down the things and important things that we shoud do for tomorrow so that it we will not forget about it and also we remove away the stress. And for the time to wake up you feel very relax and will not forget all those important things that you will do.
2: You should take care of your self try to relax, take a bath and read some books or any articles so that your body will cool down before you sleep.
3: The room and bed which you are sleeping should be comfortable enough for you. Not so hot condition of have a light so that your self is comfortable all the way.
4: It is important that at least before you sleep you should wash your face, it is very important that you should always do that because if not and you sleep your face is oily and when you wake up the next day probably you will get pimples. And do not also forget to brush your teeth as to keep your breath fresh until morning when u wake up.
5: Never sleep in the night when you are still full, that after you just a midnight snack or eat something you should not go to sleep directly. As it is very dangerous that you could get nightmare and unfortunately never wake up. After eating should be wait for 2 to 3 hours before you can go to sleep.
6: Try to drink some lukewarm water if you cannot fell asleep like hot tea, warm milk or camomile tea so it relax your body as you go to sleep.
7: Try to not drink coffee at the night because it will take away your sleep because of its some ingredients. As well avoid drinking alcoholic drinks a lot of people use drink to get a sleep but actually it is not a good idea because you cannot have a proper sleep you wake up each time and also you will get a hang over on the next day you wake up.
8: Try to powered down your self first before you sleep like a cellphone you should power off first, so don't use cellphone a lot before you sleep. Think of somethings first that could relax your mind and body and removes all the negative things that bothered you. If you have a big problem that you are facing, try to speak to your self that I will not think today all of this for now sleep first and tomorrow I will face them all.
9: Count all the blessing that you have recieved from GOD on your day, no matter how small or big it is. And always pray to GOD that we are alive and be able to continue in our life thru his guidance. In life having a good connection with family members, friends and other people is very important thing specially nowadays that the whole world are in a unlikely situation because of the pandemic brought by the virus of covid19.
In these rough times that the world have been facing now there is a lot of good Samaritan stories that has been posted in a lot of social media platforms. Actually if you think all kind of people are affected of these pandemic even you belong to a rich, middle class or poor family all and each of the are affected. For those rich people some of their businesses has closed and stop operation especially mention to those who are in the entertainment industry such as bars, Ktv and comedy clubs that leads to lossing the job of some middle class people and while other some which considered as poor has became more poorer because of the lockdowns and closing of the economy in our country.
But one thing that what these pandemic brings positive is the nature of some people to be a good Samaritan to others who are in need of help and support especially financially. There some stories that we saw some policemen that instead of giving ticket because of his traffic violation to a young delivery driver instead he just give a warning to the boy and he gave his long time hidden money in his pocket of $100 to the boy as soon as he knows that the boy is working hard as deliver guy in these time of pandemic to support for his studies and to provide also for his family. Not only that but a countless of good Samaritan stories thar we seen on National TV and social media. But the reason why I personally picked that story in this article because you see what happen to the police officer after their stories became viral of what he did giving his own money even though he himself personally needs money because he have his own family to support but he did not hesitate to give his money to help a people that he thinks that need more help than him. And after that Good Karma has happened to him as one good Samaritan also who refused to published his name in public have given him money that amounting to $1,000, imagine he just give $100 as a help to others but good knows how good his heart and by the way of other people God sends a blessings to him that more than what he help to others. The story of his life that others should adapt is that when you give a help to some one with all your hearts and without any doubt is the more blessing's you will get in return.
As for my personal experience in life now in the past month I was hit by fever and flu with some muscle pain also, but I'am very thankful that my wife is there to take care of me. She let me drink my medicine in time and prepares me a healthy food every time as well as massaging my body. And now that my wife is suffering from flu I return the favor to her and now Iam the one who was taking care of her and all her needs just like what she did to me when I was sick. The NBA Finals is just one win away fro the Los Angeles Lakers to officially finish this pandemic season and re claim as the NBA Champs which they last won way back 2010 withe the lead of the late NBA Legend Kobe Bryant. As the Lakers beat today the Miami in Game of their best of seven NBA Finals series via score of 102 -96 for the Lakers.
Do you still remember the NBA Finals 2004 between the Los Angeles Lakers versus the Detroit Pistons that has been remembered as one of the biggest upset in the NBA Finals History? Because the Lakers that time have Shaquille O'neal, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and Gary Payton that is one of those formed **Super Teams** that has never won a Championship which their opponent that time are the under dog and the best defensive team of that season which was lead by Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Rasheed Wallace and 'Big' Ben Wallace that has won NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award 4 times. And in this article of line lets look back on the story of "Big Ben"
Before in the era of 70's and 80's there as a lot pf players in College that are playing in Division 2 teams that was been picked in the NBA Draft, some of them are Charles Oakley, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. But in the late 90's have trimmed down the list of it's players that in this era are almost nothing.
Ben Wallace is a member of the NBA Draft Class of 1996 which he played in Virginia Union, that before then was playing under the Division 2 teams in College. That Draft of class of 1996 was considered as one of the best and elite class of all times that include Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, Steve Nash and at that time Ben Wallace that was not been picked by any teams.
Ben first play first in Italy after that he received a call from the Washington Bullets to play in the NBA. In his 3 seasons in the Bullets he averaged 6 points and 8 rebounds per game. Then in 2000 season he was traded to the Orlando Magic and has been put in the starting line up. In 2001 he was traded again to the Detroit Pistons and exchange for Grant Hill that some media says that this trade was one sided ion favor of the Magic. In his first season in Detroit he became productive in the defensive end. He averaged 13 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. In 2002 he won his first defensive player of the year award and the Pistons also reach the playoffs. And in the next year in 2003 he won again the same award for his back to back wins which he averaged that year 15 rebounds and 3 blocks per game. Also in 2003 the Pistons added to their line up Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton and Wallace get also his first All Star Selection.
Entering 2004 the Detroit Pistons became a much contender team, after they got the service of the All Star that time which considered also as Bad Boy Rasheed Wallace. Which on this year they reach the NBA Finals to face the power house team Los Angeles Lakers that a lot of people believe that is going to be an easy win for the Lakers because in papers the Lakers have a very big advantage on the Pistons. That this Finals is a battle of team defense versus pass first offense, that the Lakers really struggle that comes from the Bleacher Report that 2004 Finals was one of the worst Finals series performance by Kobe Bryant. That at that time the Detroit Pistons have defeated the Lakers in 5 games and have won the 2004 World Championships that they have last won in the Era of the Original Bad Boys of Detroit in the late 90's.
After their 2004 Championship win the Pistons remain the strong contender in the Eastern Conference. Ben win another 2 Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005 and 2006, and they are always reach the Conference Finals which they enter again in the 2005 NBA Finals which they faced the San Antonio Spurs which became that Champion on that year when they beat the Pistons in 7 games.
Wallace career has been changed when he left the Pistons and joined the Chicago Bulls in 2006- 2007 season where he got a lot more money from his contract, he played under Scott Skiles that their offense is coming from run n gun. And in 2008 he was traded to Cleveland where he became team mate with LeBron James.
Wallace goes back to Detroit Pistons in 2010 but the old "Big" Ben Wallace game is no more. And on 2012 he call it quit in the NBA as he retires form the game of basketball in the NBA, while Pistons also retired his jersey number 3 in their organization.
Ben Wallace is one of the players that considered one of the Best Undrafted players of all time. He became a member of NBA All Star 4 times, All NBA Team and and one time NBA Champion. Aside from his 4 time NBA Defensive Player of the Year award and a lot of rebounding titles in his NBA career.
Since 2017 Ben Wallace is eligible already to become a member of the Hall of Fame but the problem is nobody is voting for him to be in the elite list, and other reason because a lot of his batch mate are mostly scorer and play maker. One issue that has seen to him, he is a liability on his team when it comes to offense, he's free throw percentage are very poor even though his field goal percentage is high that mostly of his points are coming from inside the basket lay ups or dunk. Also some panelist said that he do not have a post move just like the other big men. He also don't have a jump shot because overall rating is what they considered to belong on the Hall of Fame of Basketball. Even other analyst wants Wallace to be part of the **HALL OF FAME** and if ever it does happen he will become the first undrafted NBA Player to be able to belong on that very exclusive list. Hello there if you had read my previous article about the origin of Koming the cat And the adventures of Koming the cat (part 1 ) so lets go. in a Covid -19 Era there is a Cat whose name is Koming he is always been bullied by the other cats and always Getting his food almost wipe out if he is not being watched by his owner(s) because Some times we are so busy so no one is gonna watch out for him and it is the three Munchin cats. And sometimes Dead face is also trying to rob his food and now i you Will know the new villain named white cat and his rival on his wife Komang and hes Old fat dad is back and always been watching Koming under the black car and then When Komang was still pregnant and his rival which is also a tuxedo cat named Sylvester and he also fought with Koming but he received a decisive blow on his face And which is one of the reasons why he decided to stop on trying to steal his Wife.and a Few days later a mysterious white cat with some burned marks on his head and Body which seems to be his mistreated and which cause him to be a wild bad feral cat the time has come while Koming is having cat nap he just been attacked by This furious wild bad feral cat and his strong scary face and burned marks he Started by a hiss and then quickly attacking Koming which have resulted Koming to Have his fur damaged and luckily only a minor wound. Then his friend the black dog Helped him and made the mysterious bad white cat and i feed him a lot and give him Some alcohol treatments which is seemingly painful because of his Meowu!!! then a Few days. Later the white cat is back to attack while Koming is eating and this time Koming managed to dodge and fight back but the white cat seems to be so strong That he cant even fight pair its like the feral white cat has got some gangster Strength and suddenly his white dog friend helped him and chased the bad white cat And Koming seemed to be scared of the white feral cat then a few weeks. Later the White cat seemed to plan his next attack he attacked Koming while he was asleep And damaged his fur again and the next week someone is back Meowtra is and this Time he is not attacking Koming which is good for him and he attacked Komings Friend the black dog which resulted in him being chase and same thing happened to Komings another dog friend the white dog and Meowtra is almost been bitten by the White dog. so That's it for the part 2 of the adventures of Koming the cat and hey They Already got the children which is kittens so i hope you like this and like and Leave a Feedback if you and watch out for the part 3 Love Meow The End.
Life's full of waiting
In these times of pandemic a lot of people have been really much affected especially in their financial aspects Lot's of companies was been force to closed or stop operation that leads to unemployment of lots of peoples and individuals. That leads a lot of depression and anxiety. But then the government has undergo a promram to give financial help to those who are affected that has lost its job led by the DSWD they run the Sap program that gives 8,000 pesos cash assistance to those who are entitled to it.
So then the distribution of the help begun as at first they gave the paper Barangay officials to distribute to those who are qualified for the benefits. And so on each Barangay have allocated a place to give the cash assistance. And as I watch on the news on television there is a problem on it, as still there is a virus that surrounds that I think they forgot it as they loose control of it as too many people have gathered to claim the money and as the line struck and the people have also forgotten social distancing as people are stick to each other not less than 1 meter and that is really really sad.
The long line is such a big part of our life as all transactions in our everyday life is you need to fall in line, for example in the supermarkets to go to the cashiers and almost everything as I experienced today that I went to my schedule of medical re visit in the clinic today my schedule is 1pm to 2pm not like that before that it is up to you on what time you would like to come for your medical. So I think that it is good thinking that I will be able to finish as early as 2pm. But the struggle is real that until now 430pm I'm still here in the clinic and not yet finish.
The waiting in line is such a big part of our everydays life that for example you should have to wait for you turn in life to wait for the right time for you to achieve all your ambitions and goals in life. So we just always be humble and have faith in God. That is it for me today. While I still waiting for my name to be called to finish my medical. Take care every one.
The origin of Koming the cat
Hello there if you have read my article about my cat which is the adventures of Koming the cat you may have some fun in that so lets start. One day in a stormy day i Was just bored and just want to take a look outside because i here some meow and When i see two kittens i immediately get my umbrella and picked up him but when i Have go outside the other kitten is gone. And only him is there so i immediately get Him some warm cloth and my mom have created an improvised incubator and Which is made of two coca cola glass bottles and filled up with hot water. Because he Seems so cold and will almost die and give a milk so that he can eat up and regain Some strength. At that time while i was taking care of him i am thinking about the Other kitten i saw and i take a look again outside and she was not there so what i Think about here is she is gone dead or some one had already picked her up. And one Day later i remember i saw a cat family in a housing near us so i brought him there Along with the other kittens and 2 adult cats so lets fast forward for 6 months. after 6 Months i have forgotten of that kitten and then every time a kitten was trying to Enter our house and sometimes he manages to get inside and it was hard because he Was small and so fast. a Few months later which is the pandemic era we have Decided to adopt him because he was always on our gate and we named him Koming Because of the Covid -19 era and a few days later i have remembered of that kitten And he has the same color of that kitten and i recognize his meow. a few days later we Saw a female tuxedo cat always with him and we started to think that it was his Wife and a few months later. we are right because Komang is pregnant we named Her that because it will match his name Koming her stomach is so huge and became so Strong in eating because she eats with Koming and then i have think and knew That she was the kitten i saw with Koming 10 months ago. Because she has the same Color and same meow so after a few days i am shocked to find out that she has Already given birth to their kittens and thats it for their origin and also they are 2 Kittens i am talking about their child. And a the date i found them is August 16 2019 And today is Oct 6 so its been 1 year 1 month and 6 days since i saw them so that's it For the origin of Koming (and Komang) i hope you like and understand it if you Please like and leave a comment or feedback see you on the part 2 love MEOW
My first day on school new normal
Here in Philippines the start of public school is Oct 5 and it was not really going on if the D.E.P.E.D did not force. It first there is not enough money or fund for the online Class, Second there is no internet connection on the really far provinces, Third the D.E.P.E.D isn't even ready because their modules are failure there is a lot of problems in Their modules, Lastly and the internet connection in here is not so stable because There are too many users of it and the videos are buffering and some didn't even Able to connect because of their internet provider and if they don't have gadget(s) or Their gadget isn't updated enough to download those apps we will need for the Online class. And the tablets that the mayor of Quezon City promised to give to the Students before the deadline of Oct 5 wasn't given so the students don't have what They need to go online class and the internet length or allowance isn't enough for the google meets to attend to it so how are the students who don't have the required or needed things gonna complete this school year. The D.E.P.E.D shouldn't force this School year to continue because what they only want is to get the money or fund for This project the officials and the others just like on the other government groups or Association just like the Philhealth . Now do you see why the class of 2020 should Not be continued and stopped but what can i do i can only watch and complain in my House and this article is just to get some extra income so don't mind this because i Know you can also do nothing and the government will defend it just like what they Are doing right. School Opens Tomorrow
Education is very important to lot's of people especially to our youth as we called them as the future and the hope of our nation, and as they to become our future leaders they must be sharpen their skills and knowledge and should go to school and finish their education. But unfortunately because of the pandemic situation that we are facing today the education of our children has been put in doubt and a not good situation.
Here in the Philippines our government have implemented an nationwide lock downs all over the country that puts a community quarantine on all cities and towns which occur on closing down the economy that closed some establishments, non essential and other sectors and because of that decision by the government it also leads to Schools and Universities to stop the school year in all levels. It is supposed to be not less than 1 month and the school year was finally over but the government makes this announcement because they have no choice, they just make that decision just to stop the spreading of the corona virus that at that times the outbreak has become rapid and only thinks for the safety of all the students. A lot of graduation have been postponed and some of the have been done virtually.
Yet the government led by the Department of Education is giving out their best to ensure learning continuity despite of this pandemic. At first the government announced the opening date of the schools is going to be on August 24 but because of the continuous spread and giving a high treat to all they postponed it and decided to move on another date.
And finally after 7 months of announcing of the suspension of the classes the Department of Education has decide to Opens the school year tomorrow October 5, 2020. The Education Department yes will officially opens the school year tomorrow despite that the total number of cases now in our country is 322,497 and still with out the vaccine and the virus is still out there.
Well the government said that they are all prepared for this re opening of the schools and will not let lead to harm on almost 22 million students in the country. And one of the preparation that they did is by distance learning or what we called now the new normal education, which the students and his/her students are having a class online while others have also have modular learning style which the teacher will print their work sheet and the students will answer it at home, which the parents are the one who will get the modules in the school as well as bringing it back to the school, since we are still under a general community quarantine that the age under 21 cannot go out side of their house.
And because of these opening of classes will be a new challenge for the teacher's especially on teaching online which even the long time teachers and newbies are all equal since teaching online is new for them compare on the usual school calendar that they have. But i think this online classes is a big problem for the parents especially to those parents that are busy working and cannot monitor their children on their studies online and mostly to all of those who cannot afford the internet technology nowadays that you should need a gadget and Wifi or at least stable internet connection to catch up with these online classes that about to start.
Another big challenge for this coming opening of schools are those remote places in other provinces that the transportation of going to schools are very and very hard to reach and now another problems for them is the internet connection that are very very slow and worst they do not have an internet signal at all.
At these time of great risk we have to resilient, self discipline, responsible and caring for others. We just need to hope and pray that everything will go smooth and okay as it is already there school openings that for me in my own opinion should be they cancel for the whole school year until there is no virus.
