The mystery of oceans. The unexplored Today I along with you, we are gonna discuss about the mysterious thing that covers 71% of the earth's surface and 90% of the earth's biosphere. The *ocean*!!! The ocean, one of the least explored areas of science. It is said that only 5% of the ocean is known to us. It is even less know than we know about moon. It all started when a we human had a myth that the earth is flat. Some brave one decided to go and found it out. Some of the most famous of them was Edmond halley and Aristotle. And today we are here about 300 years later but yet we don't know much about our awesome ocean. Today in this blog, it's all about exploring the depths of ocean and fact about oceans. 1) Why is sea and ocean's water salty?? Have you ever wondered why is this sea and ocean's water so salty??? Humm..Humm.. !?!! Any answers??? There is quite long explanation for this but I will try to explain it as short as possible. It's all because of the water, the rain water. The rain that ultimately mix into ocean is slightly acidic which fall on the ground and rocks, erodes it releasing mineral ion that ultimately makes it's way to ocean. It is the main reason that makes it salty. So, by this theory we can say that as the pollution increases the ocean's salt contain increase as well. But no, don't promote pollution to increase the salt we have. Plz... 2) The depth of ocean and the pressure within it's depth??? Ever wondered how deep is the ocean??? Hum..Hum!!??! The ocean such deep that it is all most impossible to get there. It's depth is more than height of Mt Everest, actually a quite more than the High of Mount Everest, the deepest place of ocean is at Mariana Trench and it is approximately 36,200 feet as known to us but the average depth of ocean is 12, 100 feet. While talking about the pressure of water at such point, it's incredible. When an object is at such dept, it would experience as weight more than than several elephant are using your body at every feet square and we know that nothing can survive at that pressure. So, there are very less studies at that point. 3) Sea monsters, the questioning thing??? You must be thinking, is he mad or something. Sea monsters are only in stories but no my friend they are quite reputated persons and many stories that shows some evidence toward those stories. Aristotle and Christopher Columbus are some famous one at the list who had great beliefs at that topics. The China also called the dragon have a great belief in the dragons, the sea monster. Still thinking that there is nothing mysterious in oceans. Well your this doubt is soon to come at it's end, when we are gonna talk about,(Guess what) Bermuda triangle and it's cousin dragon triangle. 4) Bermuda triangle, the fearsome??? You must have thought about Bermuda triangle and might know much about it but I think you need to know more because eating and learning is never less. Well, Bermuda triangle is situated in North Atlantic Ocean also known as devil's triangle is one of the most famous region in ocean that is famous for its mysterious things. It is said that no compass works properly in the region of ocean that covers about 500,000 miles. The first person to explore the area is Christopher Columbus in 1492 and he reported many mysterious things including the compass malfunction and bright light that appear in the sky. One of the most famous event of Bermuda triangle is of Flight 19 in 1945, 5 December where the Americans in there training just.. disappeared even a Crue of 13 men's disappeared after 27 min disappeared there are many other incidents from USS Cyclops to hundreds more disappearance. The Bermuda triangle is a dangerous thing stay out of it. 5) Dragon triangle, the cousin of Bermuda triangle??? You might had heard about dragon triangle even though it isn't much famous as Bermuda triangle. You might be thinking it as the small cousin of Bermuda but no boy no!!! It has killed a quite more Bermuda, it's actually the uncle of Bermuda triangle. The dragon triangle lies on the same latitude as the Bermuda. It first got famous in 1989 and from then it came to know as one of the most mysterious places on earth. It is around the Japan east coast and Philippines covering 5000 square feet of area. When Japan sent a team of people of 31 members on the Cairo Maro no. 5 ship the whole ship disappeared. There are many such ship and people disappeared and thus Japan declared it as a dangerous area.
