This morning a very close friend of mine wakes up knowing that she will never have the chance to be with the love of her life - her Mama. I have always admired her for the sacrifices she altruistically gave for her Mama... I have always known how she does not want to let go of her - and that's understandably normal, despite her vegetative state. Nobody wants or wishes to lose a mother. I prayed for her Mama's soul. May she finally rest in peace. I pray for strength and courage for our friend that she may face this new chapter with gratitude knowing that her mother is now at peace with the Lord.

I had met my soulmate right around the time he lost his mother. It was very hard on him; so you're being a good friend. That's the best you can do, to be there for her during this difficult time.
