The Sky was a Phoenix
Twas bright and aflame
Colors so beautiful, I stared amazed
A sunset quite unique I must say
Shades of orange, against a blue backdrop
Like things you only see in an artwork
A painted mural by expert hands
These were definitely part of God's plans
The Sky was a Phoenix reads the title
And like a phoenix, bright and hot it burned
Yet from the ashes it always returns
Like clockwork, tick tock, tick tock
At dawn the sun will rise like a Phoenix from it's ashes
By dusk, it'll burn away, and the cycle repeats
Feast your eyes on these simple wonders
Let not the troubles of the world keep you asunder
From beholding all the bright and beautiful things around you
I'm glad I saw this today
May we live to see more I pray

Here's another beauty we're all familiar with. The Hibiscus flower, botanical name: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis
Hibiscus flowers are the epitome of tropical beauty and are best grown in hot, humid climates. It is commonly found in places like Haiti, Malaysia, India, Hawaii (Hawaii's unofficial national flower). Hibiscus flowers come in various colors, shapes and sizes, though all have the same basic features, five petals around a long stalk. Other names for this flower are rose mallow, shoeblackplant, China rose etc

It's a brand new day and a brand new month. I'm super grateful to God for leading us this far because it's not by power nor by might.
This year has been a lot of things and more 😬 but we're still alive and kicking, so there's a lot to be grateful for. I for one am grateful to be alive, to be healthy physically and mentally, to have a family and loved ones, to have food to eat, clothes to wear and a roof over my head. I may not be the wealthiest person in the world 😅(I am so broke 😅😅😅) but I'm happy and thankful to be alive. What are you grateful for ??
So this new month, I pray you have a thousand reasons to smile, to be happy and to be thankful. May all the good things you venture into bear fruit in multiples and may all your days be filled with joy and gladness.
