We cooked spaghetti for dinner tonight. We divided the pasta into two chucks. For the tomato sauce version, and the other is for the pesto sauce. I'm not a big fan of pesto. So I ate more of the red spaghetti. There is one ingredient missing. We forgot to buy cheese! πŸ˜… My sibling cook this sometimes especially after payday because he has the budget. My contribution is slicing onions, garlic, and sausages! I want to say I'm his sous chef but actually my role is more like the kitchen porter!

My brother brought pizza so my dinner is free. I did bought soda. Pineapple on pizza is one of my mother's favorite topping. Some people don't like it, but it's very common here in the Philippines. I grew up with it so it's okay for me.

KinnPorsche the Series This is the first Thai series that I watched and I truly enjoyed it. This show is a romantic-action-comedy-drama. I'm not spoiling anything but the show focuses on atleast three couples. Mafia leader Kinn and main protagonist Porsche. the villainous Hades-like Vegas and the reliable bodyguard Persephone, Pete. Sherlock-Holmes-like popstar Kim and the campus sweetheart, Chay. "There are no heroes or villains in this world..." This is one of the lines of Pete. The story has a lot of questionable circumstances and characters making polarizing decisions. But I think the show's core themes are the yearning for love, be it romantic or self love, acceptance of one's self and finding a sense of purpose and belonging. Ofcourse the couples are so loveable and fun to watch! I really wanted all of them to have happy endings. I think the series is really well-made. It has an interesting plot, good script, their sets and locations look so expensive. The cinematography is great too. I'm not a film expert but I could atleast say that a lot of the shots they have looked like paintings or could be pretty wallpapers. The actors are not just good-looking, they could also act so well I think I will be stanning some of them for a very long time. 😍 Photos source: Episode posters from the production company Be On Cloud, Kinnporsche the series 2022.

Hi! It's been almost a month since I last checked in here. I was busy and I couldn't find the motivation to write again.. I did miss the peaceful atmosphere and feeling I get whenever I read people's posts. Glad to be back! #itsme

i just want to say thank you again noise.cash. I had an emergency good thing I have a bit of credits from here. 😌 I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I shouldn't take this for granted. This is a really helpful site.

I'm faithful but not religious. Life is a little exhausting right now but I always find comfort in this verse: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Sometimes the world is so harsh, even resting is a privilege. Just the idea of someone acknowledging my heavy heart and is allowing me to rest is comforting for me.

The Medium - Video Game Horror games make me uneasy, I'll panic so I can't play them by myself but I enjoy watching other people play them. This week I watched a couple of 'Let's Plays' doing The Medium. It's a scary psychological game by Polish developers - Bloober Team. It's about a girl named Marianne. She is unique in such a way that she can communicate with the departed and can see a different reality where other beings, like spirits, exists. In the beginning, her adopted father died so she was helping with his funeral preparations. During this she received a chilling phone call from a stranger that asked for her help. I think she is so brave because the call lead her to an abandoned resort that looks like a nightmarish place. I won't go anywhere near it in real life! The plot, setting, and characters are super well-made. One thing I like about the game is that, even if this is a horror game, the creators seem to give respect to the dead who have stories to tell to us viewers/players. This game has a lot of heavy and sensitive themes which they manage to discuss/show well without me feeling too uncomfortable. Photo - Geekremix Channel

The Star Next Door I recently watched this 2017 drama/comedy Korean film. It has a light-hearted feel but also a unique plot. The story, without spoilers, is about this famous celebrity, Hye-Mi, and her teen neighbor, So-eun who turns out to be her secret daughter! This isn't a secret for us viewers, they reveal this information early on. Since Hye-Mi is a world-star, she and her management have not told the public that she has a daughter because it could affect her career. So the solution was to rent another apartment next door for her daughter and her own mom. The story revolves around the mom-daughter relationship, acceptance of each other, as well as their decisions in life. Hye-Mi is figuring out how to maintain her fame while also trying to be a mom to So-eun. And So-eun is sad that she cannot be revealed as part of her mother's life. I think the movie did great at giving equal perspective about the two main characters. I understood So-eun's pain, and surprisingly I realized how tough it must have been to be in Hye-Mi 's place. There was a part where the two exchanged their feelings, and Hye-Mi had said something like "Your mother would do everything to make your dreams happen" and that was because she herself didn't have a lot of options growing up. I enjoyed watching this movie. I want a sequel to it! ☺️ photo source: from a scene of the movie with english caption

I went back to my old home where I kept a lot of my teenage stuff. I didn't had a chance to sort them when I was younger going to college. My family decided to clean up the rooms, and I found a lot of old toys, letters clothes etc. The experience of going through my old stuff was fun, but also kinda sad cause it brought me a lot of memories. I guess you could say it's bittersweet. Especially reading thru old letters. It made me reflect on who my younger self vs now. I knew I had to let go of a lot of these stuff, so i did. I need to do this so I can heal and move on. Some stuff I kept and will take home. Reliving my past made my heart full. There were weird/awkward moments, but remembering them now just made me laugh. It's nice to accept one's past.

It's been a while since I updated here! We are celebrating Holy Week, and this is a religious holiday in the Philippines. Most places are closed until Sunday, starting tomorrow. My family decided to visit some relatives! We rode a bus going to the province. I'm quite happy there wasn't too much traffic and I didn't get dizzy. I also wore a nausea patch so maybe it helped. Everyone, let's have a safe week! 🀩

Sometimes I find self-help books too intimidating or too preachy! 'Do this, Stop that, Be this in 100 days...' while this is effective for some people, maybe it's just not for me. Growing up I rarely read non-fiction. Recently, I thought why not try it? So I found the book 'I Decided To Live as Me' by Soo-hyun Kim. I saw this on social media being widely recommended. The book is about the author's life as an adult, self-acceptance, modern society, relationships, etc. It's almost 300 pages of texts and minimalistic illustrations which the author made herself. I like her art style! Her experiences were relatable for me. She had an anecdote about a bad co-worker in one of the chapters. When I started working, I also didn't question my supervisor, who had, now that I am more experienced, had demanded a lot from me. I felt like a machine during my first few years of work! This is a long story, but as I grew older, I realize how I'm allowed to rest and take care of myself. ☺️ Some of her words are things I already realized as an adult, so I find reading the book comforting. As if I share the same experiences with her, and the book is reminding me of own self-realizations. The book used a light tone. Like a casual conversation. She was honest, direct to the point, but not rude or judgemental. I think if you read this book, I suggest to treat it as if you are in a buffet, don't try to eat everything in one sitting, you take what you want at first, and go back if you want more.

@Aidanifty2

It's my parents's wedding anniversary so we ordered pizza for dinner. The slices are too big so I think I can only eat two slices. Busog ako agad. 😁 I am also feeling a bit weird. My throat's been scratchy since this morning and I can help but cough a little from time to time. I don't want to overthink this tbh. I'll try to rest tonight so I can go to work tomorrow -- unless I wake up having fever or something worse, I might consider working from home, again ugh. Ayoko na magkasakit ulit please lang. huhu.

Attack on Titan Season 4 - part 2 It's the final season of this well-known anime. I have read the manga last year, and I almost forgot how dramatic and intense the plot for the finale would be. I don't want to spoil anything so don't worry if you haven't read or watched it. Attack on Titan is about a walled city, and how it's inhabitants are supposedly the only survivors of an apocalyptic event which was the appearance of titans, or giant creatures who are devouring humans. It's like a zombie thing, but imagine giant monsters running around instead of regular-sized zombies. Kinda scary right? I really love the plot and how unpredictable it is. The author, Hajime Isayama, created an interesting world and a bunch of lovable characters. The plot could get really dark. It has serious themes like human nature, meaning of life, fighting oppression, and idea of freedom. It's not a typical wholesome super heroes-story, and the scenes could get a bit violent! Definitely not for very young kids! But it's a great show if you like fight scenes, intense dialogues and heroic adventures. photo source : from a scene in Season 4 of the show

Birth Flowers 🌹 I found out that there are birth flowers. Like a certain flower is assigned to your birthday. I'm not sure who created this concept, but it's been around for a long time. I think it's fun! My birth flower is surprisingly the Parsley Flower! I thought it's a kind of a herb but they do have flowers too. It's pretty simple and it looks so delicate. A site said that this flower symbolizes triumph or victory. which is cool. 🀩 Do you know your birth flower? You can search about it and tell me if you found out what it is. I'm interested to know! Crochet Weekend Hobby I have scrap yarns so I made new cellphone pouches for myself and my mom. This is my way of relaxing! I make time to do something fun because if I only work, I'll end up feeling annoyed. Sometimes you just gotta do what you need to in order to function well as a human being haha.

Scientist by Twice I'm a casual listener of this girl group from South Korea. At first, I thought they were not my cup of tea, but last year I finally tried listening to their songs, and I actually liked a lot of them. One of their new releases is the song called Scientist. It's super nice and their choreography is very cute. If only I can dance like them! "Love ain't a science, Don't need no license..." The music is catchy you'd be singing this line in your head for hours! I think the lyrics are clever, imagine using Cosine and Sine for lyrics! Twice's sound is usually upbeat and cheerful. What I like about them is that their music is playful and light-hearted but not overly bubble-gum pop, although there is nothing wrong with bubble-gum pop, okay? I recommend listening to their songs when you feel exhausted. The cheerful beat and their voices will surely give you a boost of energy. ▢️ photo: Twice's album cover/art photo source: open.spotify.com

I think I'm having a burnout crisis but not just at work but on social media too. Noise.cash is a bit different though. I find it refreshing to see posts from anonymous people here who are just living their life. Posts about simple daily tasks or their simple joys. It feels quieter which is ironic since this site is called noise! By quieter I mean, i don't see shady fanwars, harmful gossip or brand promo posts here convincing you that you need this or that. it just feel so normal! like i don't feel like i need to prove anything! so i guess thank you for this website πŸŽ‰

@Aidanifty2

Self improvement is like planting a tree. You won't see big changes right away, but if we constantly do something to take care of ourselves, even if it's as small as keeping ourselves hydrated everyday or exercising a few minutes before work, eventually we would see the results, we would have a beautiful tree. #selfmotivation

@Aidanifty2

Do you guys read webtoons? There is a newly launched webtoon called Chakho! It's a Fantasy series about Humans and Mythical creatures called Boems or tigers. The tigers here seem to be like the fictional warewolves. I think they are based from Korean Mythology which is a unique thing! There are seven main characters. They form a group to battle the evil forces within the world. I'm saying forces because I don't think the boems are their only problem. Each have different reasons why they are in the group. Currently it has two free episode available, and I guess the other chapters would be released per week. I always like Fantasy stories and I do enjoy reading comics. This webtoon also has a wattpad version! I haven't read in wattpad in a loooong time so I not sure if I will be able to read it. But I would surely see the webtoon. Plus it's based of BTS! The grammy nominated artist from South Korea so I'm expecting it to be really nice. photo: from webtoons.com

I got my booster shot today. Right now I feel fine except that my arm, where they shot the needle, hurts a bit. Sana wala na akong marandaman na side effects. We also went to the pharmacy after my vaccination since we want to have just-in-case medications, but they have a couple of out-of-stock medicines! I almost forgot that it's still flu season. But its okay I think I'll just rest tomorrow so I won't need to take anything. #journal

@Aidanifty2

I don't know why but I really thought it's just Tuesday right now. But it's already Wednesday 😭 and I have a lot of things to do, with so little time. #Ineedabreak

@Aidanifty2

December is a busy month for me. I wanted to think of things to post but I often got too tired and didn't have any energy to do it. Now that I'm on a holiday break I got sick. the regular flu. And still I don't have much strength to do anything. I either get headaches or muscle pain. But I really like this community so I want to continue being here even if I can't interact a lot. Maybe next year I can do more of the things I enjoy doing πŸ™πŸΌ

Have you seen the moon at this time? It has a nice shade of red. My brother was facinated and called me to see it outside. I don't have a nice camera so this is the only photo I have. πŸŒ• I read somewhere that when the moon had just risen and it's still near the horizon, the red hue is normal. It has something to do with how close the moon is to our atmosphere. The more it rises up and move further away it gradually become lighter in color. #science #tuesday #journal

It's raining right now, and as much as I want to say I enjoy the rain I know that the typhoon is causing a lot of suffering for others. I hope you are well and if you got affected by the storm, know that a lot of people are going to help you in different ways. Hang in there. Sometimes we need someone to say this to us so let me tell you: Makakaya mo ito at malalagpasan. Lilipas din ang bagyo. 🌀️ #notesforyou #withlove

@Aidanifty2

I have a lot of things I needed to do lately, and I feel like I'm getting tired. But whenever I see people, my friends or anyone on social media share about their daily hustle and also post about their achievements, I get inspired. I realize I'm not alone, I'm not the only one doing extra effort, and that I can also fullfill my dreams just like them. P.S. I wanted to share this cute santa claus donut since last week but life's busy so I am only able to show it to you now. It's really cute. πŸ₯° Call me childish, but if you present me with this donut design I would surely most likely buy it. I love cute stuff! #journal #daily #foodfortheday

Yesterday, I was so stressed, I had to meditate and talk to a penguin. πŸ˜‰ Today I started the day well by eating breakfast early and by exercising. I also managed to crochet a bit, and finally write again. Not on social media but writing fictional stories. I used to write before as a hobby, but I lacked motivation and inspiration. Suddenly, I felt like doing it again! Maybe it's a good change of pace. Kailangan ko talaga mag relax now kasi madami pa rin akong trabaho sa mga susunod na araw. Hindi talaga pwede yung puro work lang. We need rest din kasi di tayo makina na walang mental health. We can't go to some repair shop and change our parts just like that. I hope you are all finding ways to rest your body and your mind. It would help you and also the people around you. β˜€οΈ

For the first time in forever, nakakain ulit ng tuna pie from Jollibee. I used to eat a lot of tuna pie in high school. Plus, it's affordable and tasty. Speaking of tuna, have you heard of the song Super Tuna? it's so catchy and gives off a lot of good vibes. I haven't tried fishing, but if I get a chance, I will. #food #supertuna

@Aidanifty2

I forgot how I found out about this book. But here it is: Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I will try to be vague so no spoilers ahead! It's a romantic story about a prince named Henry, and Alex, the first son of the US president. What I like: The two character's would exchange emails, and they are cute and poetic! There was a scene when I felt a tug in my heart, I was like: What is this? Feelings?! All in all, it was entertaining and an easy/light read. What I wish could be better: maybe a bit more grey characters. I feel like all of them are so likeable except the bad guy who's rarely seen/talked about? But I wasn't expecting a Game of Thrones book, so I guess it's okay if most characters are kinda alright. ✌️ I'm not picky! Why I read it: I have a tiny interest in the lives of the modern royalty. Maybe it's because of fairy tales that I've seen, the real culprits are the animation Princess Sara and Princess's Diaries part 1. Both showed all those perks a princess could have. A little fantasy for my brain who loves to imagine stories. And maybe I was just being a curious cat wanting to know the lives of others. in Filipino: Hi, ako po si Marites! A line from the book: History, huh? I'm aware of history, the monarchy rule is kinda messy no? I can only hope they all do good things now, and not hurt anyone. There are still issues out there, but this book is kinda hopeful, a change, a view of where things could go, if we are open to love, support love, and have courage to move forward, even beyond the traditional expectations of society!

@Aidanifty2

I am chopping onions for spaghetti since it's my brother's birthday! We also bought some donuts, I only wanted some munchkins, because they are affordable but there were only a few left of them, so my brother decided to buy the dozen. Ako nga lang magbabayad nung kalahati! πŸ˜† I just took a break because the onions are making me cry!!! okay let me go back to chopping the sausages now πŸ˜‚ #food

update about my pc: it's better now! I spent two hours waiting for it to load, my officemate said it's probably updating? or scanning? and to leave it alone, and before lunch it was usable again! Nag-pray talaga ako! Pinaka una kong ginawa ay mag-back-up ng files. Thank you so much to everyone who talked to me! I needed that to stay calm since I was really nervous.
