Bruised and Broken
— I find my heart broken again, as the blood begins to spill,
Feeling the pain surging in my veins, throughout my body,
Tears flowing from my eyes, as I try to wipe them dry,
Wondering what did I do to deserve this kind of hurt,
As I felt the cold gush of wind, against my warm skin.
I was just sitting by the edge of a stone by the cliff,
Looking down and seeing that it seems an endless pit,
No, I am not going to jump down to my death,
I am just watching the abyss below me as if I am gonna fall,
But no, I am not going to jump off this cliff and die.
Even if my heart was bleeding from the brokenness,
I am also trying to heal myself and the pains I've been through,
Even if I see some pieces of my heart near my fingers,
As I try to keep it all together, to be whole all over again,
Even if the healing is much painful than the hurt or pain I've been through.
'Cause even if I am going through this kind of hell again,
It makes me realize how fragile I can be, in each attempt I make,
I get bruised and broken, swollen and in real pain,
But each of it makes me stronger, even if I am breakable,
As I learn to be much wiser in each experience I've been through.

Emotions flooding here and there,
As some of us lit a cigarette and think,
How do you deal with this life, anyway?
Simple...
It can suck the hell out of you, or it empowers you,
You live, you die, whatever is there for you,
You may live longer or die younger,
So, as long as you are alive, enjoy this life,
Before you find yourself, 6 feet under...

Yasuke the black samurai
Yasuke was an African man and a samurai in the service of Daimyō Oda Nobunaga, during the Japanese Sengoku era.
Yasuke arrived Japan in 1579, he was in the service of the Italian Jesuit missionary Alessandro Valignano, his arrival in Kyoto caused such a sensation that people climbed over one another to get a glimpse of him with some being crushed to death, according to historian Lawrence Winkler. Within a year, Yasuke had joined the upper echelons of Japan's warrior class, the samurai. Before long, he was speaking Japanese fluently and riding alongside Nobunaga in battle.
"His height was 6 shaku 2 sun (roughly 6 feet, 2 inches (1.88m)... he was black and his skin was like charcoal," a fellow samurai, Matsudaira Ietada, described him in his diary in 1579.
The average height of a Japanese man in 1900 was 157.9m (5 feet 2 inches) so Yasuke would have towered over most Japanese people in the 16th Century, when people were generally shorter due to poor nutrition.
There are no records of Yasuke's date or country of birth but most historians say he's either from Mozambique, Ethiopia or Nigeria.
What is known however, is that Yasuke came to Japan with an Italian Jesuit, recorded history of Yasuke in Japan is from between 1579 and 1582.
Yasuke met Nobunaga shortly after his arrival and was viewed favourably, when he piqued his interest by being a talented conversationalist. Yasuke already spoke some Japanese and the two men got on well, according to academic Thomas Lockley, who's written a book on Yasuke, he entertained Nobunaga with tales from Africa and India, where it is believed that he had spent some time before going to Japan.
"He was also unlike the Jesuits, who had a religious agenda for the soul of Japan,"
There are reports that Nobunaga even instructed his nephew to give Yasuke a sum of money at their very first meeting.
French-Ivorian writer Serge Bile was so intrigued by Yasuke's extraordinary rise that he wrote a book about the warrior.
"It's part of the mystery surrounding this character. That's why he fascinates me," he told the BBC.
The African warrior and the Japanese warlord had a lot in common. Nobunaga was a great fan of the martial arts and spent a lot of time practising them. He was also an eccentric person, who often dressed in Western-style clothes and sought the company of highly disciplined and intelligent people.
Yasuke carried the warrior spirit, he understood the cultural language of Japan and loved to dance and perform Utenzi - a historic form of Swahili narrative poetry celebrating heroic deeds, this suggests Yasuke could have come from Mozambique, as some historians believe, given that Swahili is still spoken in some northern parts of the country.
Similarly, Nobunaga was a lover of Noh Drama - a form of classical Japanese musical drama - and it is widely reported that he was a patron of the arts.
Nobunaga grew fond of Yasuke and treated him like family - the African was among a select group of people allowed to dine with him.

When Nobunaga bestowed the rank of samurai on Yasuke the idea of a non-Japanese samurai was something unheard of. Later, other foreigners would also obtain the title. Yasuke fought many important battles alongside Oda Nobunaga.
He was also there that fateful night, when one of Nobunaga's generals, Akechi Mitsuhide, turned against him and set the warlord's palace alight, trapping Nobunaga in one of the rooms. Nobunaga ended his own life by performing seppuku, a ritual suicide.
Before he killed himself, he asked Yasuke to decapitate him and take his head and sword to his son, according to historian Thomas Lockley. It was a sign of great trust.
The legend of Yasuke comes to an end shortly after this, in 1582. The fall of Nobunaga at the hands of a treacherous general resulted in the exile of the first black samurai, possibly back to a Jesuit mission in Kyoto.
Though his fate and the last years of his life remain unknown, Yasuke has lived on in the imaginations of many Japanese who grew up with the award-winning children's book Kuro-suke (kuro meaning "black" in Japanese) by Kurusu Yoshio.
The book, which dramatises Yasuke's life, ends with a bittersweet note: after Nobunaga kills himself, Kuro-suke (Yasuke) is taken to a temple where he dreams of his parents in Africa and weeps.
Entertainment industry newspaper Variety reported in May that Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman is set to play Yasuke in a forthcoming feature film. It will be the second Hollywood film being developed on the life of Yasuke.
In 2017, Hollywood studio Lionsgate announced it was developing a film on the life of the black samurai. Nearly 500 years later, his unusual life continues to awe and inspire people.

If somehow humans disappeared, what would happen to the earth?
One day I woke up and sluggishly opened the windows. Surprisingly, I saw something strange outside our house. Prior to that, there were throngs of people walking everywhere that jammed and narrowwed the way. Several minutes ago, something came up in my mind, "what would happen to Earth if all people suddenly disappeared?"
Do you imagine what would happen to all the creatures and structures built here? How natures and animals live without humans? And how our earth would work without the human power.
What is happening today actually looks like this due to the pandemic COVID 2019. Just read the possible things that might happen when people totally disappeared.
1. Just a few hours after humans disappear, lights around the world will shut down.
2. Within 10 days, pets and farm animals will die out due to starvation and dehydration.

6. A quarter of a century after man’s disappearance, 75% of the planet’s paved city streets and sidewalks will be covered in vegetation.
7. Cities like Las Vegas and Dubai will be smothered in sand as “the desert takes what belongs to it.”

Elixir of life
When we look into the accounts of many different mythologies and religions, it becomes clear that the gods are either immortal or live a life of many thousands of years.
What is rarely mentioned is the fact that in ancient religious texts there is reference to their immortality or longevity being connected to a specific kind of food that only the gods are allowed to eat. The gods were required to eat this food regularly to maintain immortality, power and strength. Many references also refer to the fact that if mortals ate this food, they would also become immortal like the gods. So let us explore the mythology surrounding this ‘*Elixir of Life’*

Greek mythology**** = It is written in the stories of the Greek gods that ambrosia and nectar was the food and drink of the immortal gods and this first appears in the Greek mythology relating to the birth of Zeus. Before the ‘discovery’ of ambrosia and nectar by the gods, it was written that they would feed by ‘sniffing’ the vapours of their dead enemies, as if they would feed from the energy of the dead souls.
Ambrosia was said to come from the horn of a magical goat named Amalthea, the foster-mother of Zeus. The horns of Amalthea provided a limitless supply of ambrosia but were also capable of producing any kind of food for any kind of living being. White holy doves would carry the ambrosia and a large eagle with shiny wings would fly at an extraordinary speed through the sky where he would get the nectar and then bring it down to the baby Zeus.
When demigod Achilles was born, his mother would pour ambrosia over Achilles and he would become immortal, but because she held him around his heel that was the only part that remained mortal. This allowed Achilles to be killed later on by Paris.
It was said that ambrosia was used by the gods to cure diseases, fix scars, and make the body beautiful again. If dead people would be treated with ambrosia, their bodies would remain in perfect condition forever. In other references, we can see that ambrosia was abundant in the gardens of Hesperides. Hesperides were nymphs who tend to a blissful garden in the far western corner of the world, a place where ambrosia was brought to the God Zeus.
****2. Bible**** = Where we can see similarity between the gardens of Hesperides and the gardens of Eden, where according to the Old Testament, man was forbidden to eat the fruit from the Tree of Life:
And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Genesis 2:9
When Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge, it appears that God alerted other Gods to be on alert because man should not eat also from the Tree of Life and become immortal like them.
Then the Lord God said *“ Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever* " Genesis 3:22
****3. Zoroastrian and Vedic mythologies**** = We can see reference to a special drink consumed by the gods, known as Soma and Haoma respectively. This special drink was prepared by extracting the juices from the stalks of certain plants, which are unknown to us today. Drinking Soma and Haoma would give immortality. Idra, the leader of the Devas, and the God Agni, are mentioned in the Rig Veda to have been drinking large quantities of the immortal drink.
We have drunk Soma and become immortal; *we have attained the light, the Gods discovered*, Rig Veda 8.48.3

Egyptian mythology and the legends of Thoth and Hermes Trismegistus**** = We will see that there are references to both of them drinking ‘white drops’, also referred to as ‘*liquid gold*’, which provided them with immortality. References about this can be found in the Quran (Sura 18; the Khidr) and in one of the Nag Hammadi texts.
****5. Sumerian texts**** = We have references to the Ninhursag’s milk, one of the seven great deities of Sumer, the goddess of fertility that is associated with a cow (similar to the magic goat Amalthea of the Greek mythology). The gods and the kings of ancient Sumer would drink from this milk to become strong and immortal. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, we also have reference to a thorny plant at the bottom of the ocean that would make someone immortal and this was kept as a secret of the gods.
****6. Hindu religion**** = The gods would harness a milk called Amrita, a nectar that was collected and drunk by the gods to give them immortality, but forbidden for humans to drink. This milk was apparently surrounding the Earth, and the gods would collect it with the help of a serpent.
****7. Chinese mythology**** = They have the ‘*Peaches of Immortality’* as the food of the immortals. Eating this food ensured the everlasting existence of the gods. If humans would eat from this fruit they would also become immortals.

The search for the Elixir of Life has been the supreme quest for many. In medieval times, there are accounts of the alchemists looking for the philosopher’s stone, believed to be required to create the elixir but also to convert lead to gold. Bernard Trevisan, an alchemist of the 15 th century said that dropping the philosopher’s stone into mercurial water would create the elixir, and we have multiple cases of alchemists that allegedly found the Elixir of Life including the infamous Cagliostro or Saint Germain.
Nectar and Ambrosia, the Tree of Life, Amrita, Peaches of Immortality, Soma and Haoma – are all these references simply the imagination of our ancient ancestors? Or, like other myths, is there an element of truth to be found in these ancient tales? It is possible that immortality or longevity can really be achieved through the consumption of a *‘special’* food, which has always been held as a privilege reserved for the gods? Perhaps the search for the ‘Elixir of Life’ is a valid and one day it may be found…*maybe not*

If your response is that "those negative memories will all be washed away", then you've undergone a 'divine lobotomy'. It wouldn't even matter if you were in heaven, because you'd have no idea what the "hell" is going on, and you would no longer be 'YOU'.
Either way, your "heaven" would be pure "hell".

Veil Of Reality
For decades, skeptics, physicists and mathematicians have debated over the probability of other dimensions and alternate facets of reality. One that's gotten a lot of attention recently is that of a Multiverse. In short, it's the idea that our Universe, and all that's contained within it, is just one small region of a larger existence that includes many similar, and possibly many different, universes like our own.
On the one hand, if our current theories of physics are true, the multiverse absolutely must exist. Why must the multiverse exist? Quite simply: there must be more universe than the part that is observable to us. If you look just at the portion of the universe we can see, you can measure its spatial curvature, and find that it's incredibly close to flat. No regions repeat; no locations connect or loop back on one another; no large-curvature regions show themselves on a scale approaching that of the universe we can observe. If the universe were a hypersphere, the four-dimensional analogue of a sphere, it must have a radius of curvature hundreds of times the size of what we can observe. There must be more universe out there than what we can access.
But this isn't just a conclusion from observations; it's the same conclusion that we'd draw from our leading theory of the universe's origin: cosmological inflation. Prior to the hot Big Bang, the fabric of the universe was expanding at an exponential rate, where every 10-35 seconds or so, it would double in scale in all dimensions. Inflation went on for at least as long as 10-33 seconds or so, but could have lasted far longer: seconds, years, millennia, trillions of years or an arbitrarily long length of time. When inflation ends, the universe we're left with is stretched flat, the same temperature everywhere, and far, far vaster than anything we can ever hope to observe. Considering the finite nature of all we can see, inflation is the natural way to create a multiverse of possibilities. There are countless regions where inflation did not end, and still continues today.
The idea that the Big Bang happened everywhere at once may apply to our universe, but certainly ought not to apply to the vast majority of universes existing in the multiverse. Assuming that inflation is a quantum field, like all fields we know of, it must spread out over time, meaning that in any region of space, it has a probability of ending at a certain time, but also a probability of continuing on forever. Accepting all of this leads to an inescapable conclusion: we live in a multiverse, and our universe is just one of countlessly many that exist within it.

A Trip To The Alien Planets

Bellerophon, or more formally known as 51 Pegasi B, the planet Michel Mayor discovered, was the first exoplanet ever observed, rising in the blazing starlight at an average surface temperature of 1800° F. It is a gas giant similar to Jupiter, but is 150 times larger than the Earth and it revolves around its parent star in a BLISTERING 4.2 EARTH DAYS—that's a suicidal planet indeed. A windy atmosphere, yes, but the frightening fact about this planet is that the rain is not made of water. Instead, it is made of iron. But Bellerophon was just the beginning. Bellerophon was just the head start.
Today, thousands of exoplanets have been discovered and some of them exceed even the expectations of science fiction.

10. CoaLOSSAL WORLD
In the Graeco constellation, a hot Jupiter, known as TRES-2b or Kepler 1b, with a faint evil red glow, the darkest known exoplanet ever discovered can be found. Reflecting less than a percentage of light from its parent star, a surface darker than coal, and an air temperature as hot as lava — features that will make you scratch your head about the nature of TRES-2b.
9. Scorching Through Astronomy
Four hundred light years away from the Earth, there lies a planet roughly 1.2 the radius of the Earth. A planet that is once considered as an Earth-like planet, except if Earth is a blazing inferno. Kepler-78b revolves around its parent star at roughly 8 1/2 hours and is a hundred times closer to its parent star than the Earth is to the sun, thus having a scorching temperature of 5120°F — this is not global warming anymore. This is global frying. With this nearness to its parent star, scientists are baffled on the idea of its formation. More likely, when it was first forming, its parent star was even larger than it is today, making the idea that the planet was INSIDE its parent star during its formation. THIS IS CRAZY ASTRONOMY!
8. Heating It Now, Vanishing Later
A place broiled in planetary hell. A Hot Jupiter so close to its star that it is LITERALLY WASTING AWAY. This is HD 20948b, or also known as Osiris, a planet being evaporated by hydrogen, gases trailing thousands of mile behind it, and losing 550 000 tons of air EVERY SECOND. Because of these, the planet has been estimated to be extinguished from the entire universe in the near future.
7. Easy Money? Planetary!
It's a paradise to discover a planet twice the size of the earth and so bizarre and so wonderfully precious that it will be filling your pockets with money 385 quadrillion times more than Earth's entire GDP. Yes, this planet exist. It's called 55 Cancri E, or also known as Jenssen. A planet 40 light years away, and listen to this one, AND IS 1/3 DIAMOND. This theoretically happened due to the planet's atmosphere mostly being carbon and having a surface temperature on its tidally locked side of roughly 4000°F. It is now valued at 26.9 nonillion dollars. That's like 1 followed by 30 zeros. JENSSEN, HERE I COME!
6. Saturn On Steroids
A Super Saturn with over 30 circumplanetary rings about 640 times as vast as Saturn's ones — this is J1407b. An exoplanet 434 light years from Earth in the constellation Centaurus and having a radius of 88,513,920 km. It has been considered at the only known exoplanet with rings similar to Saturn. If we move this planet in the place Saturn today, it would dominate the sky and would seem many times larger than a full moon. Or does it? Well, we will see the rings but not the planet itself. This is a proof of the vastness of this planet's wondrous rings.
5. Anti-Newton Wanderstar
Gliese 436b is an icy exoplanet located 30 light years from Earth. This is a Neptune-sized planet with an average temperature reaching up to 822°F, yet it is surprisingly covered with ice. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THAT POSSIBLY HAPPEN? Well, while the planet orbits its star at a distance 15 times closer than Mercury is to the sun, its gravity is so strong that it compresses the trace amounts of vapor in the planet's atmosphere into solid ice and prevents it from melting, no matter how much it burns.
4. Rubies and Sapphires Everywhere, How Could I Catch Them All with Fair?
Located in the Cygnus constellation, HAT-P-7b is hovering the vast ocean of stars. On the dark side of this alien world, high accumulation of corundum isfound in the atmosphere. These corundum are gems of rubies and sapphires. So one can describe the hypothetical weather on the planet's night side as 'raining rubies & sapphires'. The planet also suffers from ravishing extents of storms, so it’s likely that these gems are scattered planet-wide.
3. Rain, rain go away! Scorching Glass is On the Way
HD 189773b is an exoplanet slightly larger than Jupiter located about 62 light years away from Earth. A planet featuring deep, beautiful blue color from the mysterious atmosphere made up mostly of silicate materials. The wind's speed is reaching as high as 8,690 km/h. What is frightening about this planet is that it literally rains glass sideways along with unbearably tenacious winds.
2. The Mysterious Oldie

Then came PSR B1620-26b, or fittingly dubbed as Methuselah, from the oldest Biblical figure ever. This exoplanet is 12.7 billion years old—that's just about a billion years old after the Big Bang, which is straight up crazy. For this reason, it perplexes scientists on figuring out how this planet could form during a time where there is not enough sources for a planet to actually form, but there Methuselah is — upsetting the applecart of the entire knowledge of humanity.
1. The Hell Planet
A planet that was once a gas giant but gas vaporized, causing the solid core to be left. It is roughly 1.5 times the size of Earth, orbiting its planet just 20 hours, and what's more terrifying is it is called the HELL PLANET. Let's make this thing clear first. Planets have been discovered so vastly and so many that when you garner this distinction, it means you're the closest one to living hell. But after thousands of discoveries, COROT 7b stood out. The sunrise looks so intense and so ravaging due to the nearness of the planet to its parent star, which is as near as about 60 times closer to its star than we are to the sun. On its day side, this planet can reach 4,700°F, hot enough to melt and vaporize solid rocks. Even current theoretical models give the planet boiling oceans and lava. This planet is tidally locked into place with this fire-and-brimstone half always facing the sun, while the other half is bitter cold and can reach -392°F, hence why it is said to be two hells in one.
