Taking photos/pictures
Most people shield themselves from smiling and taking pictures. You need to know it's a good stress reliever, most occasions females get a particular model of phone because of it's great camera features, but then most people shy away from putting their face out there or taking a good shot for themselves
1. Pictures tilt your memories towards good experiences, simply because you sure took them during the happy times. Most people take it as an hobby of taking pictures everyday, one better way to have memories and feed on them the days you need them. Every good experiences documented helps to see how far you were at that point of that memory.Memories makes you see yourself even if you were sad or happy at that point you just know how far you really have gone.
2. Stress Reliever: Do you observe when you smile for a longer period of time you get to wade off sad thoughts and at that time its just you and a big smile for the camera. You can go on as well as smiling on purpose into the camera, anytime you check those pictures you get to laugh over it because you know the smile wasn't genuine but then you'll have a genuine smile on your face because of how you took them. I went to get a passport photograph i had a big smile the photographer said "Ahh i only have problems when taking female passport, you are not supposed to show your teeth". It made me laugh the more till i gave a quiet smile. I mean it's a passport why should i smile, but i wanted it to be that whenever i see this passport, i smiled well and went against the general rule of the no smile for passports.
3. Whether or not taking photos inspires your imagination and having pictures documented makes things spark from you, you could use it to even build up a story. I've seen a case of going through my gallery and got stuck on a particular picture of my hair on a high bun i looked at the hair and gave a note down on hair goals because i invested so much and i hate taking my hair into a bun i have rare pictures of it but seeing that look, i wrote an article on hair itself because i had so much growth in a span of three years yet it resulted to an healthy one. So you never can tell which of your photos is waiting for you to prey on it.
4. Do you know pictures tells you how important some things are to you and how well you cherish them enough to have them in your gallery, cloud or a picture book. The importance of that situatuin right there tells you some of the things you used to prioritize or could do before. I loved drawing cute things. One time i found on my gallery a wallpaper of flowers it took me back to when i had a drawing book and would draw anything cute, did you know what i did, i took my journal and started making a picture representation of what i saved in my gallery into my journal, i realised i had lost my touch but i was still good at drawing. This is why i take no thoughts when i see what i like online i screen-grab even if i forget about it i know i love strolling through my photo records, i'll stumble on it and work on it with the prior motive i had for it while screen grabbing.Inspos comes well from things you saved yourself.
5. Taking pictures can be or turn out to be a creative hobby for you. How? You can just have ideas spanked up in your head or a posing skill, trust me that gut feeling will make you grab your camera or phone to take a shot. I discovered most people do well with editing their pictures, because it might not suit them well with the ray of sunlight of the colour they got in that shot straightway they edit, and it turns out beautifully without needing a professional. Taking pictures makes you creative you just might not have found your que.
I love strolling through my gallery a lot though i'm not one that post pictures excessively out there some are just for me to see how happy i was or get a track of the events i've been too. There are different ways of self love and i can tell you that taking pictures and documenting is part.
SUNDAY
It's Sunday, i figured everyone has a routine that makes it one of the special days for them.Mine has it's own ordered too which varies if i'm in my Father's house or at School. Mostly i love my Sundays while in school but at home it mostly ends the same way.
But then, i literally always wake up very early not like i do house chores or anything precisely i have a sibling to cover that up, but then i have to be in church very early as a worker, our jobs starts more earlier and those are just protocols. I love church it's always wonderful and beautiful,an avenue to hear the word of God more and relate with people.Today following my morning routines i went early as required, service was beautiful. After service we then ran series of activities, meetings based on the department we functioned in and that's always the higlight of the day especially if your department is working on something. With everything being done i went home and had my lunch immediately, most times i sleep but i just decided to surf through my phone and some lay on the couch all this in the space of 4hours. It wasn't really sunny today though just cool air. Was literally on the verge of sleeping got a call.
What next? i dashed off left the house and attended an house fellowship with youths it was enlightening as we spoke on the word, truly there's joy in teaching.
Pretty much how my sunday went, decided to stay outside the gate of the house when i got home, kids were playing football,i watched them as they played and get sweaty, then one walked up to me, i got to talk to him pretty much in his teens he also gave me an highlight of his day
He started by saying he woke up casually and got through washing of plates, cleaning the house, putting his sibling in order then had his bath. No church just chilling with his dad and watching comedy skits and movies.
Then cooked because his dad asked him to do it, fuelling the gen and watching lots and lots of movies(in his words)it sounded fun to him. After being tired of watching, he didn't stay still he said "i basically played table tennis for 2hrs and going around doing chores, playing football". To him it was a boring day,no outing,no church, just errands and games. Pheww it didn't sound boring if he filled it with movies and sports that's what i call eventful for kids his age.
That really was his Sunday highlight and mine everyone has it different for them.
What's yours...
What made me popular in high School...
High school held lots of memories for me and I'm sure it did for you also.
So many things made me popular in high school. First it was my face card and Surname, i have pretty big eye balls but then it was a family thing as i attended the same school with my siblings and cousins so it was so easy to detect the family with the eye balls and teachers would also call me that, i loved my eyes cause it was a gene thing but mine was a little bigger than my siblings so the face card and the popular surname amongst the high school teachers and middle class class teachers made me known.
I never for once felt bad because yet it was one those things that made you stand out. I was almost anti social due to different reason would have been called called in my early high school days but i just didn't care. Then i joined press club i started unshelling myself, I became the first face of the week in my School thanks to the Club this way i started leading the press club of the school, i became president at a point and we started casting news every Friday at the school Assembly, it was always the day of the week i always looked forward too.
I got bold reading out news every Friday to Students this continued for as long as 3years and some months before i stepped down for my juniors to take over as i aaa in my final year in high school, there was no way you wouldn't know my name. There's was a day i mispronounced some words, my seniors came for me and started laughing well i learnt how to pronounce that word ever since, there was no need to get angry at them it only made me better. From there i would always lead the assembly i wasn't the prefect for that job but i was always available i wasn't one that took my prefect position serious because my class mates thought i didn't deserve it as i was not social enough but then the school gives every position to the top students. I was the Social prefect,i didn't feel it cause i was made to think i should have gotten another post so i put on my school badge at the school gate once school activities are over , i take them off and i place it my bagpack and head home.
I enjoyed leading the School assembly, checking out hair styles, nails ,it was fun for me. Over the years i spent in school i was always myself around my juniors as i wasn't position conscious this got them to love me andvtell me mean things about the people they don't like in my set i would just smile.
I was popular amongst my School student but not amongst my class mates they only knew me for being part of the top students in class, my seat partner would tell them i was mean in a way, but i wasn't my natural demeanour was to question then and i had a mouth to defend myself but during my finals we were all mixed i got to know some, i had friends in my class suddenly, it really was something. One last thing i was popular for we had handsome boys in our class but the top two became me liked me there was chaos at some point that alone, i would come into the class sense the atmosphere and figured that i was being talked about.
You know what this did to me, at every point i was being known and popular for in school i never lowered my self esteem yes i wasn't with the big leagues at some point but i was a big league on my own as i was also picky. I ended my high school amassing friends in my class and you'd always find me with the top students the same ones who would better not stay friends with me, i changed a lot in my final days at high school and it was okay to be popular especially with the Face Card.
Hair Chronicles 2
Beautiful hair begat we all, the mystery with hair lies just with your care and diet. I never take it for granted so you shouldn't.
A quick story i have a naturally doubled coloured hair dark on the base and a bit extra light on the tip , i wanted it to rhyme so bad i used Rice water yeah. So good a stuff to make your hair dark and shiny and it did work but i stopped got caught up in school work not an excuse at all. After some months i put my hair in a bun boom it's all dark at the base and another at the tip.
I meant to say i stopped caring for it , i saw the results but inconsistency got me back .Your hair is a result of your consistency and care never say never.
Your porosity, texture, length might sound all alien but the truth is once you step on that altar of wanting to know your hair, you are definitely up for something. Pheww it looks exhausting right nope, you've got to have the right mindset cause if you don't you wouldn't get accustomed to it. Embrace that hair first have a made up mind trust me not a slack one from there you'll know how a strand of hair can mean different things.
They say happy hair happy peoole. When going through the phase of knowing your hair and taking care of it, you get this protective feeling. I most times don't let my stylist tug at my edges they are dear to me id rather leave them out and brush them in on few occasions lay them but i wouldn't tug at them that way i have pretty edges and i adore them everytime.
For me i choose my diet carefully, drink lots of water this way i know my skin and hair are benefiting from it. So many ways to care for your hair and love them. I have more to these....
HAIR CHRONICLES 1..How to make your hair happy by 80%
Whatever I say is so much applicable to both male and female.Starting it off you need an hair consultant, low budget scale ,if you don't have much .You need to be informed about your hair even a receding hair line needs care.
I take it in 3 ways Hair consultancy. For this You have Hair assessment, clarifying of your hair goals and Basic hair care routines.Assessing your hair from time to time is very vital, it simply means checking on your hair e.g Checking out for heat damage, Hair lenght, itchy scalp , stagnant growth. My hair is my friend when it's not in a good condition i always know .
When you assess you hair from time to time you get to know so much about growth, it "might" be stressful but trust me it's always worth it.You get to see why it's not growing, if you need to change routines or product or if you need new protective styles.Having hair goals is very key you get to know if it's growing, stagnant and you can plus achieve a particular length in mind genes or no genes.
Hair goals in a year keeps you in check and makes you wanting to try harder to reach a goal or a particular level you want either a good volume , a good texture or an increased length, the more goals you set monthly the more you see your investment. Because your hair gives out what you have been feeding it.
Your consultant could help you on goals and insight of things you don't know.Yes there is a whole lot things you don't know about the growth of each strands
Basic hair care that is your lenght , your hair strenght , porosity , texture , the do's & don'ts of wash days. Detangling i.e separating linked strands of your hair especially the naturals this reduces lenght a lot when the comb runs through and through it reduces length.
What supplements(healthy hair drugs) to use. Our wash routines which should be vital for everyone that wants to see a change some take in braids for 2 months that's a whole lot of dirt build up .
Also the kind(s) of product you use is very vital , this leads to a whole damaging effect when not noted, you need to know what works for you not all stylist knows how to care or what works for the Hair.
Not even all hair guru's knows what exact product for all different types of hair.I had an awful experience with a product, i almost took my hair out to start over it was dreading seeing the amount of growth i amassed only to lose it to a small product. I'll share this story with you in our next Chronicle.
Starting from this you can begin your hair journey and be guided at every step.
