Realities in Life Experienced (Part 1)
We go through life experiences differently from each other. Lots of experiences that left memories good and bad , happy and sad. Lessons from such experiences made us a strong person somehow in spirit, properly motivated and inspired to live life to the fullest with the people whom we loved & share our life with in whatever circumstances we face.
Difficulties in family life
Life has not been easy for me , since childhood , being a member of a big family with a dozen of kids. But some of my childhood and grown up experiences did something advantageous to me.
Being raised in a poor family , to work to earn for a living was introduced at an early age. I grew up in this kind of perspective in life. To be happy and contented what is served on the table is part of my training. And to be a responsible child to the task given me is observed with diligence. I didn't expect that such kind of training and experience is what I need to be able to survive the hardships that I have to face in the future. And to take it into consideration, that is still something to be thankful for .
Problems faced in Married Life
I got married 26 yrs. Old and my husband 24 yrs. Old. We were both Christian Baptist believers. We met in Bible Baptist Church , Caloocan in our youth days, and our wedding took place in the Church, Jan 9, 1981, having our very closed friends, and church mates as our sponsors.
Not having a permanent place to live
As a couple we have not prepared ourselves a place of our own to live. We have to rent , or stay in either to my parent's house or to my husband's house, whichever is necessary thing to do.
Since both of us are working we decided to rent a room. And the first place we chose was in Quezon City.
In Quezon City
As a newly married couple we lived in a room for rent place. The place was accessible to my working place but not to my husband , who is working in Navotas. I worked as a private secretary in an establishment, in Tandang Sora , Quezon City, while my husband was battery man in his cousin's battery shop in Navotas.
When I got pregnant , I resigned to my job and moved to Caloocan , to my parents house. There I gave birth to our first baby, a girl. We only stayed there until my baby was going to four months old. We decided then to go to my husband's parents house, cause it's more nearer to my husband's working place.
In Tondo
When our baby turned four months we decided to moved to Tondo to my husband's house. It is because it was near to his working place. I lived with my in laws and tried to learn to socially mingle and adapt with them.
When the rented room downstair were vacated we took it . We lived there and there was born my second and third child. I had my ligation when my third child was born.
In Negros Occidental
My mother in-law convinced my husband to live in Negros with us , his family, to take care of his grandfather who is on his old age and had an alchizhmer disease, and somehow to inherit for himself whatever his mother was entitled to inherit. My husband was convinced, and so we went as family to Negros Occidental. My kids then were 6, 5 and 9 months old. We stayed there for almost 2 yrs. We just went back in Caloocan after there was an earthquake that hits the Negros. When my husband has the chance to go back to Manila, he visited my parents. And my parents were so mindful of me and told my husband to let me and children get back to Caloocan. They gave my husband money for our fare as a family. It was my mother this time who convinced my husband to take us back to Caloocan, to my parents home. My husband was convinced so we were back to Caloocan City.
Travelling Experience By Sea
It was my second time experience to travel by sea. The first one was when we go to Negros Occidental. It was a smooth sailing experience that I enjoyed without feeling dizzy . My second one was when we are travelled back to Manila. It was like a nightmare experience. It was so scary compared to the first one. It was month of July. It was night and the ship was in the middle of the sea. It is part of Mindoro wherein they say there is shark. At that time we were in the upper deck and you can just see the surroundings. We were all sound asleep when we were awaken by the storm. The ship was tossed by waves caused by a strong wind. And this condition made us all felt dizzy that each of us vomitted. I had took our pitcher and from there we took turns in vomitting. The engine of the ship ceased and the more we felt the tossing of the waves with the strong wind in the ship. We were all scared praying that God will keep us safe to shore. In the ship you can hear the memorized prayers others usually prays. Not long after the engine of the ship worked and the wind ceased causing the waves to be still. Then we were able to sleep again and wake up safely back to shore and back to Caloocan to live with my own family this time
Summing Up & Lessons learned
Our family life lived a transitory life when it comes to residency till my kids had grown up because we have not build our own house to stay permanently. Though I inherited a residential lot from.my parents still we were not able to build our own. We just lived in my parents house longer than in any place we stayed. My siblings who have families of their own have their own houses to live so it was I & my own family lived in house.
There's lot of disadvantages of having such kind of a transitory residency .
In my case establishing a closed & solid friends is not achieved.
And another thing is you always have to adopt always to a new environment, and make new friends and acquaintances again and again.
It's very difficult to have your possessions always intact. You would always want to settle to less possessions since you are but temporary to such a place.
My final say
With my experiences in life, from childhood to adulthood to parenthood , whereever God had lead me to live with my family, I can testify God has been good to us. He provided and protected us by all means. As a family we see to it that we have a church wherein to attend to, to let ourselves be fed by the word of God .It helped us a lot to be strong in our faith, when we faced difficult situations in life. Through God's words we find comforts and peace, that though we don't live a very comfortable life, yet we were happy as a family together whereever God lead us. Whenever or whereever we are God's presence and loving care is always felt and experienced. To God be All the glory.

How Strong Is Your Will Power?
The interrogative form of Title will make a reader to think at once about himself regarding the condition of his will power. His considerations to it will somehow moves him to ask himself and will try to find answers to it.o
I believed that in life as we go through it, from the time we become independent and mature, our will power has a great effect how our lives will be . The very condition of our will power , whether it be weak or strong determines the fate of our present and future life.
The very answer we will give to the question being the title of this article will be an eye opener for us on what should be done to pursuits in our life to ensure it's success.
Difference of Questions & Answers
QUESTIONS *are* formed because of uncertainties doubts created in the mind of a person. It demands an explanation, judgment, proofs, that is very convincing in nature. Not unless certain truths are proven with all honesty, questions remains just the same.
On the other hand, ANSWERS are words spoken to address to matters for clarity on the facts itself being considered. It is the key that opens up and give solutions so that the matters being considered and it's concerns be made obvious based on realities, observations & studies as truths or facts that are honest and acceptable.
QUESTIONS and ANSWERS compliment each other to avoid confusion, doubts, irregularities &Negativities . Matters being questioned and being answered were actually given justice by the truths and facts that are honest , acceptable and is proven.
The questions and answers therefore is important in knowing someone's abilities and capabilities . It is very helpful for a person in facing challenges in life more prepared and cautious in making plans , decisions and in moving on.
Situations And Reactions
We face different kind of situations in life, some good & some bad and it is inevitable. It's a part of life that we will go through. Actually it is allowed for a reason and purpose in our lives. Through it we learn for they provided experiences in life whether it be better or bitter yet for our own good . We only realized later that something we considered bad are blessings when revealed at the right time. We call it blessings in disguise.
Difficult situations that we were able to surpass reveals something in us, that sometimes we actually don't believe we were able to endure and win over.
Looking back on past experiences that are profitable for us, because it had led us to learn from it, is a good reaction. And forgetting those things that will hinder us to move on forward is better & best as we welcome the new year of opportunities before us, having new hopes for improvement and better life ahead of us.
Knowing God, Others, & Self
God alone who is our Creator , knows us more than anyone else in this world. Everything about us past , present and future. Nothing is hidden or will be hidden from him. Even the intents of our heart and our thoughts are all known to Him. We can therefore , asked Him His help to guide and lead us all through life. Apart from depending upon Him we would be a loss , defeat and harmful to us.
Knowing others means we are socially connected with them in many ways. Seeking to deprive ourselves of others is detrimental for us being a social being. We were created not to be alone. God on purpose created us all for good. How we interact with them has something to say about us .
Knowing oneself , who we really are, is reflected by our actions and reactions towards God, others and situations. They are mirror to us , whereby our reflection can be seen. Our dealings with each of them in presence or absence reveals the kind of life we are taking and we will take.
With all these in mind, and being aware of, let us be real and be honest to ourselves. Denial would be a sense of cowardice and weakness & pride. Acceptance of ourselves who we really are is a sense of courage, strenght and humbleness. Of which traits is needed in our will power to be strong , which eventually will lead to a life of satisfaction and happiness in whatever state or condition in life we have to face.
A well balanced life
A strong willed person can be a successful one if he uses his strenght willfulness in a well balanced condition. It's true that success is certain in a strong willed person at certain points he is determined and focused. Obviously man people who attained success in the realm or field they have chosen in life, have somewhat failed in other aspects in their lives. Others may deny or ignore it , because it was covered by their successfulness but then the fact still remains that we cannot have all in life in this earth.
I believed a well balanced life is a life lived by giving what is due to whom it is due. Giving to God what is due Him and to others what is due to them and lastly to ourselves.
Keeping this in mind a strong willed person can come up to a satisfied or contented life.
As a final say, our answers to questions as the title of this article suggest, maybe different for now. But I just hope this article will help a lot for us to have a strong will if we lack it, and if we already have it , make its use in its proper balance to ensure a complete and satisfying results.

The Nature of Life
Life is short and uncertain
Life is short and uncertain and anyone who realizes this, will be compelled to think more seriously on how to live a kind of life that is purposeful.
Such realization, does not come at once from an individual himself in his young or early stage in life but at the time as he becomes mature in life and had gone through the process of time by the experiences he goes through life whether it be good or bad. Different experiences concerning the aspects of life as human being physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually .
The Important Role of Parents
The important role of parents begins when a child is born in the family and assumed the great responsibility as parents.
Taking full responsibility to their children
To become parents is taking their roles as full responsibility and accountability to God, who allows them to have their children.
Basically parents role is to provide for their physical needs to sustain their lives. They are to raise their children to be physically , spiritually, mentally, emotionally, morally, and socially good persons.Apart from these, as parents they are to prepare their children for their future life as they grow older.
Aiming a good future to their children
Any parents , regardless of status in life aims a good future for their children. Even before their children were born as a married couple they created plans of having a family and aimed how they wanted it to be.
Setting goals for their children
Once a sign of life is confirmed at the womb of a mother, a couple starts to prepare everything the baby needs .And at the process of life begins and continues, it coincides the process of planning and setting goals for the child's well being. Goals on what they want their child to be in the future becomes a motivation, inspiration as well as a challenge being parents.
**Performing the set goals for their children**
Goals sets for children which is highly motivated and inspired by love makes a joyful and easy performance . Handling any seeming hindrances that would probably lead to discouragements or sidetracked from the main focus of reaching the goal will be ignored . The pursuit of a goal becomes more persistent. Ways or means are easily thought of to overcome the overwhelming difficult situations that is existing.
Fulfilling the set goals for children
The set goals which begun from the time of the sign of life in the womb of the mother actually will take time to be fulfilled.
Certainly this task of fulfilling the set goals of parents for children is a step by step process of specific goals at the process of time. As the stages of life begins in the child's life , the specific goals set on such a stage of life coincides with it. The fulfillment of specific goals sets is dependent upon the kind of performance done by the parents.
Culminating in the Role of Parent in Establishing The Goals to Their Children
There is a point in time when parents reached the peak of their responsibility as parents to children to cease . From the stage of childhood dependency to young adult independency till adulthood.
Guiding and Advicing, Options to Take by Parents to Their Children
As the time passes while parents grows older and children as well, parents responsiblity shifts from full authority to lesser one, when the child is able to decide for himself . Children were given freedom to decide for himself . Guidance and advice from parents came to the scene as the option to take and give to their children to secure children's good decision for the good future and well being of the children they have brought up through the years.
The Cycle of Life
Our life here on earth is a cycle. Persons come and go, for death is sure to come to pass to every individual. Each one of us has an appointed time to God . Parents will leave their children and children will become parents and will have the same responsibility as parents to their children. And this is the cycle of life as the world & everything in it exists and people exists as God allows it.
The Purpose of Life
Life on earth is not only for a person to exist. There is a reason and purpose why we exist here on earth.
And we personally, as individual will discover this , somewhere in our life time.The God who created us, will personally reveal it to us.
The Bible Has Something To Tell
Allow me to use the BIBLE in reference to the CREATION of man by God. I personally believed that the Bible is the most CREDIBLE BOOK with regards to this matter. The Creations of God is very well accounted to, in the FIRST BOOK of the OLD TESTAMENT, the book of GENESIS, in CHAPTER ONE.
Before God created humans, God created first the things needed according to its importance and purposes . God prepared a perfect habitation , environment or nature necessary for human needs in.his existence. To know more about its details, you need to read it personally, in case you want to know.
Regarding the creation of human, the Bible states , He created first a man , then the woman. God created man after His own image , after His own likeness. A very unique way of creation compared to every living things that God has created.
God has endowed the human beings wisdom, talents , as well as the abilities and capabilities attached to it. So there will be no reasons why person cannot know God, and believe in Him to be able to know His very purpose why he is created.
In my personal insights, being created after God's image and in His own likeness, besides breathing the breath of life into his nostrils as what the Bible teaches, is God having a built in part in us in a spiritual sense, thus making us to have God counsciousness in our being, and the ability to communicate with Him.
Concluding Portion
No one can deny the fact that aware or not aware, we have a goal set in our hearts and mind. A goal that may be simple & easily attained. An specific goal which is short or long termed goal which is also attainable. Whichever it maybe having a goal to look up to will lead or direct us to a life saving time and effort performances in life for good. A life that is lived purposely, enduring the complexities of life with joy and peace within, enjoying life with love of God and loved ones to see us through life's difficulties, and victoriously living continually having full assurance of hope to the One we hold on to , who is God who remains the same forever inspite of uncertainties in life on earth.
Having goals leads or direct us to our life performance and our life's performance will result to the kind of attainment we will have now or in the near future.
This article is another step taken in fulfilling my goal in moving forward in 2022 by being more active in read.cash by writing more articles month after month the whole year round.

The Difference: Goal or No Goal
Previous Experiences Points To A Reality
Previous experiences can tell many things that will help us determine the difference of a goal or no goal in life.
Year 2021 has passed, and I believed it has left worth remembering experiences from which we have learned many things.
We are on the sixth day of the first month of year 2022 , January, and I must say, those experiences are still fresh in our hearts and minds that we can recall easily. And recalling them , I think , we can pinpoint a difference basing on the results of our performances in actions & reactions. We can actually see how we ignored or focus or procrastinate on things and opportunities that must have made us productive or must have been profitable if we had aimed or goal for it.
Obvious Results as Failures & Successes Becomes Relevant
Failures and Successes are both results we can find or note as differences in goal or no goal. Not everyone recognized it, or just don't mind it. It is understandable , for people are different in many aspects as human beings. Though we have lots of similarities at some points, but then.we still differs in views and outlook in life, that can be traced back from values learned, education attained, and status in life.
Responses, Directions & Focus Becomes A Determining Factor
I think our responses to any situations in life has something to do with the difference in goal or no goal.
A person respond differently. Some quickly without many thoughts. Whatever pops up in the mind at the moment will cause a person decide at once. To some , they give the benefit of a doubt, being cautious, just to be certain that actions to be taken is safe and secured.
The present life of a person can be traced back from the direction he had been to in the past. The response ones had in any situation directs what path to take that is ahead of him.
And finally, how focus a person is, on the direction he is taking , or has decided to take, determined one's successes or failures.
Goal or No Goal is a choice each one of us will decide facing a new year, year 2022.
We have all the freedom to enjoy and may this freedom lead us to decide wisely. Choose what will work for your own good and enjoyment. Just be a responsible person who freely makes decision and series of decisions in the process of time, the whole year round of 2022.

A Clear Vision In 2022
Know Whom To Hold On To
We know nothing of what 2022 has in store for us. Yet there is one who knows everything about it, and knows everything about us. He knows our strenght as well as weaknesses. Knowing Him personally, and putting our trust in Him, believing that impossible things are possible to Him, we can be rest assured of victory of reaching the goal we have set for ourselves in the year 2022.
With our unlimited mind to understand and see every thing what the future holds, faith without any shadow of doubt to whom Who is Above all, known as God is the best and important thing to have .
The True & Living God, Who will be on our side, and be with us every moment of the day to guide and lead us 24/7 , the year round, is more than enough to sustain us to face whatever situations or circumstances.
Personal Relationship & Commitment Established
Knowing the One to hold on to , is nothing when there is no personal relationship and commitment involved. And personal relationship is vague and unimportant when there is no commitment involved. Having both is best, for it will worked through well no matter what it takes.
Companionship,fellowship,workmanship based on a commitment, has more deep sense of responsibility to enjoy and protect to stay close and firm together .
Father & Son/Daughter Relationship
Being born into one's family brought a person into a father and son/daughter relationship. And from this we can grasp the idea of how a father and son/daughter relationship is with God as our Father and us His son/daughter.
When it comes to authority, the father has the authority with his children. When it comes to responsibility he assumes all the responsibility to his children in all aspects of all their needs. The father's role is to love, protect, provide, teach, train & discipline and give moral support to their children.
With these in mind regarding the earthly father we have, who is unlimited in knowledge and capabilities yet with such characteristics knows his role and responsibilities to his children and does it, can we not much more count on God , who is able to do everything for us, who is our Creator who loved us with an unconditional, unfailing and everlasting love?
Role as Son/Daughter
Our role is to recognized ,accept and be under our Heavenly Father's authority , in all matters rendering our OBEDIENCE to Him willingly, faithfully and trustfully.
Our Heavenly Father deserved such kind of obedience for He will never ever forsake us and leave us because if the kind of love He has for us.
LOVE to our Heavenly Father must be the motivating factor of our obedience to Him. If ever we does this, it is because He first loved us.
FAITH, TRUST, AND BELIEVING just follows when love is first in everything.
OUR VISION FOR THE YEAR 2022, WILL BE MOST CLEAR, KNOWING AND HAVING GOD IN US , WITH US, AND FIR US IN EVERYTHING THAT WE DO, ACCDG. TO HIS WILL AND PLEASURE FOR OUR OWN GOOD & SAFETY.
My final say would be, NEVER doubt, fear,when you know God personally, established a personal relationship and commitment with Him, recognized,acknowledged , accept and submit to His authority over you with willingness , faithfulness, trustfulness, out of love.
For we have the True and Living God, Sovereign and Almighty who remains the same yesterday, today and forever and who promised He will never leave us nor forsake us, and will love us unconditionally, unfailingly forever.
May God continually allow God reveal Himself to us, daily and be willing to follow where He leads us this year 2022.
May He allow us to have that 20/20 Vision daily , the whole year round of 2022. To God be All the glory and honor.

Dealings with the possible hindrances in reaching goals
Health Issues
Health issues can affect much of our well being as a whole. Our healthy conditions leads us to accomplish our goals. Our working capability physically , mentally , emotionally as well as socially makes it possible.
Anyone who realized the importance of a healthy body, to reach goals and to enjoy life , will pursue to have a healthy lifestyle and maintain a healthy living.
Discouragements
A. Self discouragement
Discouragements usually is felt by anyone when results of what he has worked hard to the best of his ability didn't turned out good as he expects it to be. Anyone who doesn't know how to deal with such discouragement , will let himself, get affected. Losing his confidence in his ability, he starts to compare himself with others and soon envy creeps in and start to feel bitter with his situation .
Instead of giving sometime to search on his shortcomings or mistakes which is unnoticed maybe due to unawareness he began to see the negativities .
Instead of giving such thoughts of going on and do better or have such positive approaches to such discouragements , he chooses to give up which for him is the easiest thing to do, not realizing that it would only lead to regret later.
Another thing would be, and I hope it would not be, it will become an attitude , that will lead you nowhere if anyone will not be able to deal with discouragements when at first it is experienced.
B. Outside discouragement
It is inevitable for us to encounter persons or situations that would make us feel discourage. Such encounters aggrevates our feelings of failures, incompetence, inadequacies as a person, when we hear directly or indirectly such comments that don not boost our confidence but put it down. Although there are some that encourages still in one's mind and heart lingers the voice of those that are hurting.
Anyone should stop on focusing to such negatives to out you down. Take it a challenge for you, not to prove something to them but more on to yourself, thus building up your self confidence.
Maybe there are yet lots of things that hinders anyone to reach ones goals , but as I can see and in.my personal opinion, this is the foremost to mention.
I believe everyone , is given by God , abilities and talents. It is for us to discover and enhance it for our own good to serve it's purpose for us that God intend it to be.
If ever we discover it, acknowledge, appreciate and enhanced it. For sure everyone has it. It may differ in quantity of abilities and talents given to each person. But then I believe , if God will see anyone how he used his talents and abilities and it pleases God, He will add more to that person. This is based on what I read in the Bible about the Parable of Talents. (Matt. 25:14-30)

Moving Forward, my goal, my challenge in 2022
My inspiration and my goal this new year 2022 will gonna be moving forward no matter what it takes.
This first day, today , Jan. 1, 2022, is my starting day. To start with , I encourage myself to write even a short article. I should not procrastinate for it would only lead me nothing.
Procrastinating is not moving forward , rather it is staying behind as the hours is moving on during the day. Procrastinating is withholding me or hindering me to be productive. Procrastinating is an attitude I have to deal with upon realizing that it would only lead me to no where, but will just stuck me to where I was in my past.
I was inactive in this platform for quite sometime due to my incompetence of dealing with myself inadequacies in writing posts that would at least be read somehow, hoping , it would catch some attention from the that many users in this platform .
And so then, this first post of mine, is one of the succeeding posts I will be writing this year, 2022.
For me MOVING FORWARD is my goal and challenge to myself this year 2022. I have now reach a goal for my today's post, and a proof of challenge accepted is this first post .
Whatever the outcome or result of this post, will be an eye opener for me on what to do next as my second step in moving forward.
I just have to be determined and focus on my goal and challenge of MOVING FORWARD.

The Important Role of Internet & Social Media During Pandemic
The modern technology is said to characterized our world today. Our civilization had reached the peak of intelligence so much so that in aspects pertaining to make life longer, comfortable and enjoyable the geniuses of people in the world made it possible through their technological inventions.
I don't know exactly who the persons where behind such different kinds of inventions but I was made aware of their inventions and tried to experience somehow and somewhere in life.
To site some of modern technological.inventions that is world wide acknowledge is the use of the internet. Without it social media connections all over the world would not be possible. Gadgets like cellphones, computers, laptops , wifi, or whatever gadgets that needs internet connection will be of no use without it.
World wide website has a large part in the internet in creating the possibility of having a social media all over the world.
The following are the things that I observed to be the important roles that internet and social media contributed or accomplished globally and personally to us. They are very helpful in our daily tasks and activities in order for us to be productive and enjoy life at its best.
**Provides face to face Communication & Interaction through video calls, and text messaging**
The families who were made a long distance apart because of dreams to be successful professionally, or to be financially successful , all for making the family happy , were made still close together and in touch as always, through social media. Having fb accounts and a messenger they were able to have a face to face communication , & interactions through video calls. And just in case not possible due to internet connection failures, it is done by text messaging.
Provides financial accessibility or money transfer in an easier, faster and safer method for the family
Sending money from abroad to families nowadays were made either directly to digital wallets or money transfer. This kind of ways or means is so advantageous to both sides in terms of accessibility .It is as actually easier, faster and safer.
Provides learning situations of all levels of education available and accessible
Undergoing such difficult times because of pandemic, our modern technology was the solution. The Dept. Of Education has come up with the new normal process or activities to perform just as education in the country would continue. Through virtual lectures or sessions students and teachers continue the teaching learning process. Problems related to it were given immediate response to have solutions. Thus the end results , enables deserving graduating students graduated from their courses , respectively.
Provides Solution to Unemployment problem through Online business - buying & selling
The pandemic situation cause most people to lose their source of income due to the closure of business companies and establishments. It was a tragic experienced for the breadwinners to be out of job from where the income to support their own families came from. Though the government gave assistance to all the citizens of the country yet still it is not so sufficient to meet every needs of the family.

Through live streaming people who can't go to churches because of some restrictions, can watch the mass in their churches, others their worship services in their respective churches all at the same time wherever they are as freely as they could.

There are still lots to say about the roles of internet and social media in our society globally and personally, now and more so in the future.
But for now this is all that I can say, as far as I am concern to the best of what I have observed.

What it takes to be a Parent
It takes a God given privilege
It is a reality that not all married people are blessed to have a child or children of their own. And if ever they experienced to be a parent, it is because they decided to adopt a child , to be their own child to raise.
I know of a friend who have been married for a long time, but have not been blessed to have a child of their own. They have availed professional means of advice and medical treatment but it didn't work for them. So they give up on it and finally just decided to adopt a baby child from a relative. And now the baby is a teenage boy, and as I see they are living as a happy family.
It takes a blessed and an honourable experience
One of the reasons why people get married is to have a family of their own. Having own child or children to love and to care is a blessed & honourable experience. Any parent take pride having a child or children who resembles their physical features and good qualities. Children gives happy feelings despite many negativities involved in caring & training. Children inspires and motivated parents to do their roles. Seeing children happy & growing we'll being nourished and nurtured well are making parents to feel being compensated for the work or job well done in caring for them. Children showing values , traits, behaviour and attitudes not offensive gives honour to parents, for it suggests or manifest the parents' they have done good in giving such training and discipline.
**It takes to have an important role to perform and be responsible of**
To be parents carry with it accountability and responsibility. God who gave our children to us , makes us accountable to Him, how we guide and lead in the lives of our children. Since authority towards children is in the hands of parents, this authority must be used in accordance with the will of God as revealed and taught in the word of God.
Performing ones role as a parent is the responsibility to our children. It should not be taken for granted and passed on to any other person outside the family. As parents we should not depend on others to train and discipline our children. The first and foremost training and disciplining should begin in our home.
Providing for the family basic needs , are for parents to work for. Securing for safety and protection of children is a must to do by parents. Guiding and leading children to attain a good future should be considered with such focus and determination. Leading and guiding them.in the fear of God prepares children to face life's realities with positivities.
It takes a matured person mentally, emotionally, physically and socially
Parents should be matured enough to have a family to raise. Children are humans with life to live in the world with uncertainties and complexities. They are fully dependent to parents in everything. They need someone that they can fully depend upon. The father, who is called to be the pillar in the family should be matured enough to strongly and firmly uphold the family when storms of life passes by . The mother , who is called to light the house should also be matured at times children know not what to have and to hold on to when in doubt or in fear.
It takes a heart full of love and compassion
A family is consist of individuals said to have one blood flowing in their veins , but still have lots of differences in personalities, characteristics, likes and dislikes. Besides that, we are all imperfect beings, capable of doing mistakes , has flaws, has weakness, and will fail.
Knowing these very nature present in every individual, love and compassion can only be the key to have such qualities to counteract the very nature itself that can trigger conflicts in family relationships.
Having love and compassion for one another , parents to children and children towards parents , misunderstanding and conflicts can easily be settled down , problems solved , and will result to family staying together and getting strong and firm as .
It takes a good parent to prioritize a family next to God
Family is what we've got who will always be on our side to depend on and count on. Let us prioritize our own family in meeting their needs and in giving love, attention and care next to God.
Time limits us in doing many things we want to do for our family. Realizing this kind of situation , knowing our priorities according to its importance will help us to think of ways to manage our time wisely , and nothing wasted .
It takes a godly parent to secure a protected family from this world where evil exist
We all know evil is present in this world. And everyone is exposed to it . To combat evil cannot be done without the grace of God and God being with us all the time.
Consistent and unceasing Prayers of godly parents to our True and Living God for their children are the most effective ways to protect our children and shield them from evil .

God must be first and all others are options in all relationships to work. God knows best and His wisdom stands sure .Let us ask God the wisdom and guidance we need to help us to discern more clearly WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A PARENT to be the parent we ought to be that God wills us to be.

Holiday Season Celebration Experiences Before Pandemic
Introduction
Today is the first day of December 2021, Wednesday . It's 24 more days to go before Christmas Day. And I am apt to think of my previous experiences I had pertaining to Christmas celebrations before pandemic situation.
**Year 2014 - My saddest year of celebrating Christmas**
It's the saddest memories of Christmas ever to me because it was the year of my widowhood. It was the third day of December that my husband went home to the Lord. It was a sudden & unexpected death. He had the first time high blood pressure attack that caused him in coma, just for one day and he died. Allow me not to go in details of it anymore, for it was still painful for me to recall everything about it. His death was so painful because it was so sudden, I wasn't prepared for his departure.
**Year 2016 - In Pampanga - Christmas Celebration with my older sister, who became a widow that year**
October 2016 my brother in law died in Canada and was cremated. First week of December , my older sister arrived with her daughter and grandson with my brother in law's ashes to be buried here in Pampanga, his hometown, in Manibaug Cemetery. Necrological service was done in their vacation house before the interment.
After the interment of the ashes they stayed yet to celebrate the holiday season with us. And this was the last Christmas celebration I had with my older sister because the following years she was not able to take her vacation because she could not anymore travel alone because of her Alzheimer disease. The celebration was full of excitement and fun. Most of the relatives of my brother in law joined the celebration.
**Year 2018 - In Nueva Ecija - Christmas Celebration with my PWD sister & older son**
After 3 years of stay in Pampanga as a care taker of the vacation house of my older sister, I went back home to our hometown in Nueva Ecija. The vacation house then was left in the care of my brother in law's siblings who lived near it. My three year stay in Pampanga somehow had helped me moved on with my widowhood. My time then was focused on my responsibility in taking care of my youngest sister who is a PWD. I was the one who is available at that time to take care of her so I took the responsibility.
Year 2019 - In Caloocan celebrated Christmas with my eldest daughter & family .
February 2019, I was requested by my eldest daughter to live with them in Caloocan City , for she needs my help, because she will be giving birth to her second child. She is a working mother at that time so I will be taking care of the kids while she is at work. So my PWD sister was left in the care of my younger sister who was now available to care because she has filed an early retirement from her work.
**Year 2020 - In Pasay City Celebrated New Year with my youngest son and his family**
Desiring to meet my youngest son and my two grandchildren I called my son telling him that I like to spend the New Year with them. I told my son to meet me at LRT EDSA Station since I do not remember their place though I have been there thrice. Since their place was near Mall of Asia (MOA) and I have not been there yet , I requested them to spend the New Year's Day there altogether. So we went there and we had a very memorable New Year bonding . I took some photos for a remembrance using the cp OPPO A5S which was my Christmas gift received from my daughter in law.
Then came the unexpected , unforgettable pandemic situation, March , 2020. No one have imagined it's devastating effects nationwide that many places in the country nationwide was put in a lockdown - Enhance Community Quarantine to start with.
Going through the pandemic situation was so difficult being in a lockdown situation. Only one person in every family was given a Quarantine pass as allowed to go outside the house to buy necessities. there was curfew , no other person was allowed to go to other baranggay. There were no work, business establishments were closed, no public transportations were allowed . There were so many restrictions that need to be observed not just for a day, weeks or months but more than a year to be observed. Somehow the government gave financial and food assistance that temporary helped for survival just for a short period of time at the least.
**Dec. 25, 2020 - Pandemic Christmas Celebration**
We celebrated the Christmas just inside the house. Having just few set of food that we can afford to have and an ayuda coming from baranggay a pasta & ingredients.
My final say:
In our journey in life, there are really various experiences that we have to go through for good reasons and purpose God wants to accomplish in our lives.
The joy, happiness, sorrows, griefs, pain, sufferings, problems and difficulties we face in our lives were allowed by God not to make us bitter but a better person .
There are many things , I learned, and realized in all my experiences. And I am thankful that God is with me through it all. He never did leave me nor forsake me in my time of sorrows, griefs, pain and sufferings. He gives me comfort and hope as always. He protects and provides my needs in order for me to survive even at this very moment.
He directed me to places and persons and used me to ba a blessing to them at the very least that I could be out of the best things that I could offer as God by his grace had given me.

My Encounters
First Visit - House blessing
My sister with her husband, a Filipino who resides in Canada arrived. And they invited us to their house blessing in Pampanga . The newly house built was intended to be their yearly vacation house. We attended the house blessing and stayed for awhile to spend more days with them before going home.
Yearly Visit
It was usually during the month of October that my sister & her husband have their 3 months yearly vacation. And whenever she stays here in the Philippines, she will asked us to stay there with her as long as they stay there. And so we spent the holiday season with them till the time they would leave again to go back home to Canada.
Stay in Offered
The time came when my sister arrived with her husband. They offered me to stay for quite a long period of time, for my brother-in-law will not stay for long but will be back to Canada soon. I will be taking care of my sister & the house while she stays . My brother in law said that instead of hiring another, they just decided to take me and will give me the hire intended for hiring another. During that time , 2014 my mother died and my husband died that same year. My mother died January while my husband December. And so with my youngest sister with me , who is a PWD , we stayed in Pampanga with my older sister. My sister went back to Canada after almost 6 months of stay , the only period of time she is allowed to stay.
Stay in Experience
The house was big, there was one room downstairs and 2 rooms and a master bedroom upstairs. It was a 14th steps stairs so I just chose to stay in the room downstairs because it is accessible to everything in the house: in the sala, & kitchen.
It was a big house to clean , downstairs and upstairs. I just clean it alternately.
Downstairs Room Experience
My PWD sister & I slept in the room downstairs. It was an air conditioned room like the 3 rooms upstairs. I usually put off the light in the room but just let the lights on outside the house to aid light inside the room. I just let the venetian blinds cover the glass windows leaving just a little space not covered for the light to enter the room. I just don't know the exact time when I was awaken.I was still lying on bed at that time and I set my eyes out of the window . Being the lights on outside I saw a man's shadow outside. In my mind , I am thinking maybe it's my brother in law's older brother who will take a look around the place to check. But still I doubted because it is not usually the place he used to walk whenever he goes to his garden. He usually take the left side path going to it. But then that morning , I dare not to ask him. I just erased it on my mind. Having such kind of experienced we moved to the room upstairs, the room near the terrace.
Near the Terrace Room Experience
The room near the terrace was not as big as the room downstairs. The bed was a double deck but me and my PWD sister just sleep together in the low deck. It was early dawn, and it was still dark outside and I wake up to search some pictures in a big box wherein I put all the pictures albums of my older sister. The lights on the room was on while I was searching,when it suddenly clicked off and the light was off for quite seconds or maybe a minute before it lighted again. I am a bit scared and said in our own language , Brother I am searching your picture that can be used for the tarpauline. The tarpauline I am referring to was the one to be use in the first death anniversary of my brother in law. On that morning I asked my nephew if there was an outage of electricity that morning at about 5 am, and he said there's none.
The photo was taken during the first death anniversary. There was the tarpauline but was taken out instead a table with his picture was placed instead.
Going Downstairs Experience
It is my routine everyday that going downstairs I will wipe each stairs one after another as I go down. The mountain bike of my brother in law was placed under the stairs. It was placed upside down. One day I thought what if, if the wheels of the bike would turn round and round, how would I feel. And just as I thought, it really happened and I was so really scared , my eyes wide open, can't move for awhile and can't scream, seeing just the one wheel turn round and round and then suddenly stopped as if someone had taken hold of it . When my fear subside I just continue wiping the stairs from top to the last stair down.
The bike downstairs not only fully focus only the wheel and at the time the photo was taken it was not on the upside down position.
Master's Bedroom Experience
My PWD sister and I had slept on all the rooms of the house. And the room we last slept before we left the house in 2018 was the master's Bedroom. We slept here longer than the other rooms so I had lots of scary experiences here. This room was the first one as you go upstairs. It has an exclusive comfort room with jacuzzi which I only experienced to use once when my older sister insisted to try it. I just tell the most scary experienced I had.
My older sister had a dream catcher which she hanged at the inside part of the door. When you are inside the room and the door closed it is clearly seen as you lie in bed. Because of lots of scary experiences in the house I let the lights on as we sleep. My Bible beside me and of course, prayer was made each night before sleeping. We were sleeping and I was awakened by an audible sound of someone who bumped at the door . When I looked at the door the dream catcher that was hanging there was swaying for the first time. I can't think of any reason why could it happen when though the aircon is on there's no way it's air can be able to sway it for it cannot be directly hit. So I just concluded that there is really an evil spirit in the house that is scaring me and I can sense it with the different experiences in that room.
Though I feel scared yet I know God is with me and is protecting me. And I believe God with me is greater than the evil one that is in the house. So I keep that in mind and heart that I overcome all my fears in staying that long in the house. By the way it took me to stay in that house for 3 yrs. And before I leave the house I said as I go out the door Don't follow me you evil spirit and I close the door.
My Final Say
I had lots of memories in this house in which I stayed for 3 years. For this house had been a placed for many celebrations of fun and enjoyment with family, friends, churchmates and acquaintances.During holiday seasons the Torno Clans had Christmas Party celebrations here. We also held Bible Studies and fellowship here with my churchmates.
I enjoyed staying despite of the scary experiences I had.

Christmas Message To Us
Time passes so easily and we are twenty six more days to go and the world will be celebrating the holiday season which was called CHRISTMAS, the day being celebrated as the birth of our Saviour, JESUS CHRIST.
No one really knows the exact time and date of the birth of Christ. But it is a fact that Christ was born in this earth. And this truth , no one can deny.
The birth of Christ and many things related to it are clearly taught in the Bible. I personally believe the Bible is the Holy Book in which the birth of Christ is written. And from it we can know and learn the message behind the birth of Jesus Christ, which the traditional world named as Christmas.
First Message - God's Love
The birth of Jesus Christ was the very manifestation of God's love to the whole human race. All of the human race inherited the sinful nature of Adam & Eve our first parents. And this very sinful nature caused us to lose the relationship and fellowship with God. It was then God's love for mankind that moved Him to restore such relationship and fellowship by sending His only begotten Son into the world. The following verses from the Bible tells us of this truths.
**Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.**
**Romans 5:12 - For as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men for all have sinned.**
Nevertheless, mankind with its sinful nature, did not stop God in loving us .
**John 3:16 - For God so loved the world (mankind) that He gave His only begotten Son ( Jesus) that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.**
Second Message - Fulfillment of a Prophecy
The birth of Jesus Christ was prophesied by prophet Isaiah. (Old Testament)
**Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.**
The prophesy of prophet Isaiah was fulfilled in the book of Matthew. ( New Testament)
**Matthew 1: 18 - Now the birth of Jesus was on this wise: When as His mother , Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.**
**Matthew 1:19 - Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.**
**Matthew 1:20 - But while he thought on these things, behold an angel if the Lord appeared unto him in a dream saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary, thy wife; for that what is conceived in her us of the Holy Ghost.**
Third Message - A Saviour, to save people from sin & eternal punishment
In Matthew 1:21 says the reason why a Saviour must be born of a virgin and be conceived of a Holy Ghost so that he would not have a sinful nature like as we are. It is because He is to save people from sin and it's penalty.
Mankind being sinful is to experience second death in the lake of fire.
**Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers,and sorcerers, and idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death.J**
**John 3:17 - For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.**
Fourth Message - God's Gift To us Through Christ
Christ Jesus, the Saviour is God's gift to us. Through Christ we would received the gift of eternal life , because He gave His life on the cross of Calvary. He died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins. His gift of eternal life can be our to receive if we repent from all our wrong beliefs confessing our sins, believing by faith what He has done on the cross of Calvary and accepting Him into our hearts as personal Saviour and Lord of our life.
**Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.**
**John 3:18 - He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.**
The gift is to be received upon believing and accepting Jesus Christ. Christ worked for it on the cross of Calvary. His death on the cross and His precious blood shed on the cross was the price He paid for that gift. When Christ uttered on the cross , IT IS FINISHED before He gave up His life, it is indeed finished. Nothing to be added to it for He finished it. What Christ did on the cross sufficed the justice required of God to sinful mankind.
The good works we might think we have done will not in anyway add to what Christ has done for our salvation.
**Ephesians 2:8,9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and doth not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works lest anuman should boast.**
**Titus 3:5 - Not by works which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost**
FINAL MESSAGE - CHRIST ALONE IS THE GOD SENT ONE
Jesus claimed:
**John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I AM The Way, The Truth, and The Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.**
CHRIST, the birthday celebrant is God's gift to us as Saviour. And being the Saviour He finished His work for our salvation so that He can offer us the gift of eternal life.

Journeys In Life
Introduction
Did you wish to go somewhere else in a certain place for purpose of fun and relaxation? Or go to a place not of your own choice but the choice of others for you? Or you were going to a place because of urgency or necessity? Or is going to a place out of curiosity or adventure? Well whichever it is , going to a certain place will take you to travel or take a journey on your own or with others especially when you are not familiar with the place your going to. But then at times, no one is available to be with you, and you have to take your own risks travelling in order for you to reach the place of your destination.
Every person takes a journey of his own, in his own time, choice, and purpose. The success on his journey will depend upon how he prepared for it, and face it.
Our life here on earth is likened to a journey that we have to take. And it will take a lifetime to travel here to reach the destination we choose to take. It is a destination that every person will have the opportunity to know and decide to take later or sooner in life.
The Start of the Journey
Our journey start at the time of our existence , whom God our Creator who give as the life allow us to have. I'm sure everyone of us know when it is, for God to whom.He entrusted us tells about it. They are our parents whom God used as instruments for our existence. They told us when is the time of our birth and where is the place of our birth. The very first information that is so important as travelling documents in our lifetime journey. But of course , including our parents.
Our First Companion in Journey
Our parents are the most important and first companion in our journey. They are important to us in the same way we are portant to them. They took care of us from infant to childhood till we matured and be independent from them to decide for ourselves .
Our parents gave us a home to be sheltered and be protected. They provided the love, care and needs we needed in life to survive . They prepared us to the best of their ability to face life as it is. They see to it , we have the proper training and knowledge from infancy to childhood , from being dependent to independent. They have taken the full responsibility of us during the time we needed them most for we are yet in the first stage of our existence. We owe not lots but much to them for everything about us.
Our Childhood Journey
We don't know much of our childhood journey not unless our parents told us or rehearsed it on our ears, or showed us pictures of memories during our childhood days. But there are some instances that in our subconscious mind, there is left that we can remember. Events that has somehow deeply stored in our minds because it impressed us of the experienced felt. Those memories are experienced that had happened like a dream we had that we can still.remember when we awake from sleep. I have lots but not much to remember of my childhood days. What I can remember are those experienced that brought me happiness, sadness, fear, excitement and fun.
My Educational Journey
Having a poor and large family, I had my education from elementary to secondary in a public school. I can remember in my elementary days , my mother would come up to stage during graduation to pin me a ribbon being an honor student.And during my high school days I am included in lists of higher section. In fact in my fourth year high school I was in the section 1 the highest level in fourth year sections. I only reached a second year level in college, an under graduate, of a BSE course. I think it's not my parents fault , but I took the blame of it because I'm not that determined to finish it like those who are determined inspite of hardships and difficulties they faced in life.
Not being able to finish my BSE course, I had the opportunity to just take a 1 year vocational course , a secretarial course, which I determined to finish just to have something to achieve in life.
**My Working Life Journey**
Having finished a one year secretarial course, I was able to land a job in a small business establishment. I was able to use the knowledge I gained and been happy for it. During this journey I did enjoy the work for somehow in it, I was able to meet my personal needs independently of my parents, whom did not obliged me to have some of my work income but just wait on my willingness to do so.
My Married Life Journey
Like anyone on his journey in life, a time came for me to decide to get married, when I met the man who sincerely and loved me much more than I do loved him. We both met in the church where we were both an active member of. We don't have a long courtship and engagement. We decided to get married after just in a 7 month love relationship . We were both working in different business establishments and so we thought we are ready enough to get married and start to have our own family. We lived in harmony with each other because we are of the same faith and belief. We have both Christ in our hearts and life and maybe that is the reason why we survived problems and difficulties we faced and gone through in our married and family life.
The Role Of Decision Making In Our Journey
Decision Making, I believe has a very important role in our journey in life. It's one of the risky path we have to take. For we cannot know if we have decided right not unless we see the results of it in the future. And so making decisions must be prayerfully , wisely , cautiously, and seriously done. We can take solicited advice from someone we trust and look up to but still we have the final decision to make. It is our very own responsibility to take because it is our life and it is our journey to take.
Conclusion
There are two major decision we are to make in our journey in life. There are two aspects in our life that we have to decide . And this has something to do with our temporary life in this earth and the eternal life in the life hereafter. Both decisions in these two aspects in our life is to be done in our lifetime journey in this earth.
The first one is marriage
Marriage is a lifetime commitment, therefore the decision made must not be impulsive or rash because you will suffer the worst consequences all your lifetime journey in this earth.
The second is the decision to make for our eternal destination
The Bible clearly teaches us that there are two real eternal destinations , they are heaven & hell. Our decision is to be made here on earth while we are still alive and not when we are gone in this earth. The decision to take is based on the acceptance and rejection of Jesus Christ, The Saviour of the lost mankind like me and you. Believing in Him by faith alone and claiming for yourself what Christ has done on the cross of Calvary, His death to pay the penalty of your sins , is the way or means by which the grace of God in you can give you eternal life to enjoy in heaven. But in your rejection of Christ of to believe in Him and reject Him as your Saviour and Lord of your life now, before it's too late , eternal damnation awaits you in hell.
Lastly, to believe it or not is your decision to make. The truths revealed in the Bible remains truth till eternity whether we believe it or not , reject it or accept it.
Christmas Celebration in the Philippines
Introduction
Christmas is a yearly celebration in different countries worldwide. The manner of celebrations differs from one country to another. The differences maybe lies on the country's tradition and beliefs handed from generations to generations.
Christmas is one of the most awaited event or occasion that is being observed and celebrated all over the world , by people in all walks of life, regardless of status or conditions in life .
We have Christmas because we believe Christ was born in this earth. Christ is the promised Saviour of the sinful and lost mankind. His birth brought joy, hope and glad tidings. No one really knows the exact time and date of Christ's birth, but the fact that Christ was born and the purpose why He was born is the most important thing that matters.
Philippines is my country, and it is considered a Christian country, because we believe Jesus Christ as God, and all His teachings. I will be sharing how Christmas is being celebrated and is being observed, as far as I know, observed in my fellow citizens, and experienced with loved ones and family. Here it is how to begin with:
CHRISTMAS CONSCIOUSNESS & AWARENESS
FIRSTLY , the CHRISTMAS & AWARENESS & CONSCIOUSNESS begin when BER months appears in the calendar.
SECONDLY, it has to do with the coldness in the atmosphere. In the past, when coldness of the air is felt, which actually begins during BER months, the first thing that comes to one's mind is Christmas is near. But nowadays that we are experiencing a climate change, the coldness of the atmosphere during this BER months is not obviously felt.
THIRDLY, it is usually during BER months that some people begin the countdown of the days before Christmas. Since Christmas is celebrated Dec. 25 it was their basis of counting down.
FOURTHLY, it is highly encouraged when malls and business establishments begin decorating the place with Christmas paraphernalias and begin selling them as well.
ADVANCE PREPARATIONS
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS EVERYWHERE
At home, preparations for Christmas were done as early as the month of October to some, to others by second week of November, and the latest, first week of December.
Christmas paraphernalias kept after the previous Christmas were brought out from cabinets, to get ready for its display. The Christmas tree and it's decorations, the Christmas lanterns and lights are all set. If nothing are left because it has been destroyed because of constant used yearly it was being replaced with new ones by buying from malls or other business establishments where they are available. From simple to extravagant decorations, every home is adorned with it, depending upon the family could afford.
Parks, business establishments and public establishments like schools, churches , Barangay halls as well as main roads of the cities were all initially decorated with Christmas lights and lanterns . It usually starts at BER months and fully decorated by first week of December.
ADVANCE CELEBRATIONS
Christmas parties are done yearly without fail. It is done with much fun , merrying, and giving of gifts. Doing such kind of activities is manifesting the very spirit of Christmas which is joy in giving and fellowshipping or getting together for fun & merrying with people beside our relatives and families.
IN SCHOOLS
Before schools will be closed on or before December 16 advance celebrations of Christmas were being done, they are having Christmas parties. They have activities like exchanging gifts, games, raffles, dancing/singing contests and pot lucks.
IN CHURCHES
Some churches celebrated Christmas by having Christmas Cantata, in which choir sings Christmas songs after preaching of God's word were done. They took the opportunity to invite visitors for them to hear the preachings of the gospel of salvation. Other activites in other days before Dec. 25, they have fellowship like exchanging gifts, pot luck, games and contests for fun and merrying .
IN BUSINESS & PUBLIC ESTABLISHMENTS, GOVT. OFFICES LOCAL AND NATIONAL, BARANGAYS
In such work places, they also have activities like exchanging gifts, pot luck , games , contests and raffles in their Christmas parties.
TRADITIONAL CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS
Philippines is a Catholic country. History tells how under the Spaniards for more than 300 years had handed down their religious beliefs of Christianity. And it was the very reason why majority of tFilipinos are Catholics. But with Americans, coming to the country, and the country under their regime , presented the gospel of Jesus Christ, which converted the minority of its citizen. The following are Catholic's traditional practices of Christmas.
Mass
A mass is held many days before the celebration of Christmas day, Dec. 25. The mass is called "simbang gabi" in Filipino or "miss de gallo" in Spanish. This mass begins very early 3 am to 4 am in the morning starting Dec. 16 to Dec. 24.
Special Rice Cakes being Sold
Rice cakes which we called "bibingka" in our native tongue is being sold outside the premises of the church bldg. This is a rice cake cooked in coals with toppings of salted eggs or cheese eaten weith young grated coconut and hot tea. The other one is called "puto bumbong" made up of purple glutinous rice cooked in steam.It is being served polished with butter or margarine , with young grated coconut and hot tea. These rice cakes were special in the sense that it was only made and sold during Christmas season in our province during simbang gabi from Dec. 16-24 only.
Carolling & Carollers
At the start of simbang gabi Dec. 16 is the start of carolling too. It is done during early evening as the day grows dark. Children with their self made musical instruments like tambol , etc . , go from house to house singing different Christmas songs expecting gifts from people to whom they sung songs. Gifts given to them varies from money, candies, chocolates, bread anything available to give. The carolling ends Dec. 24 too.
Gifts and Gifts Giving
Plans for gifts and to whom it is to be given is a preparation made in advance as 13th month pay or bonuses be given in advance from where a person works. It is usually the means used to buy gifts in kind or money itself to give to someone especially the kids who are looking forward to it with full excitement and expectations. If you are a "Ninong or Ninang" of some kids it is expected from you to have prepared something to give the kids. For surely the kids with their mothers will visit you on or before the Christmas day.
Noche Buena
In the 24th day of Dec. in every houses of families, you will find everyone is busy preparing food for feasting on the very Eve , 12 midnight , the parting time of Dec. 24 to begin the very day of Christmas. This is the Christmas Eve celebration were all family members are awake waiting for the Christmas Eve , gathered together for feasting and greetings each one a Merry Christmas with hugs and kisses and giving gifts for everyone.
On Christmas Day
**The Outfit of the Day**
Anyone may differ in style of dress or color to wear during Christmas day but you will notice that all are brand new**. The parents of each family see to it that everyone in the family has a brand new clothes or else Christmas celebration is not complete. For kids it is something, it really matters to them, besides the gifts they are to receive.The very day of Christmas, the most awaited day to come. You can see kids in their all new outfits ready to mingle to everyone to greet a MERRY CHRISTMAS. That is the key word or the password so to say to receive gifts to someone to whom you greet. If you have nothing to give a return back greetings of MERRY CHRISTMAS will be your response. Besides the greetings, kids or young adults grasp the hands of older people and put it in their forehead as a sign of greetings and respect. For now, I think this could be possible to do for we are still in the pandemic situation.**
The Reunion Day
Christmas Day can be said to be a Reunion Day, because families and relatives have time to see each other on this very day.This was made possible because of a Christmas vacation in workplaces. A happy scenario can be seen in homes.There were feasting , everyhome has food to serve and to share and to enjoy and be satisfied with.
The Feasting Day
One of the highlights of this Christmas day is the food for feasting. The foods prepared are the specialties of the family.The variety of dishes are special, they are not usually the foods eaten everyday. They are foods eaten on special occasions.
Conclusion:
There are yet many days left before Christmas Day. I don't know how will the Christmas Day celebration will.turn out to be during the pandemic situation.
But one thing is sure, Christmas Day celebration will not fail. There could be minimal change or difference in the way we used to celebrate it, but then the joy of the spirit it brings remains in our hearts and minds.
The true essence of Christmas is not in the celebration but in the Celebrant, the One gift of God to mankind, the Lord Jesus Christ , the Saviour of the lost ,sinful mankind, that's me and you.
The message of Christmas is God's Love for you and me.
John 3:16 - For God so Loved the world (you and me) that He gave His Only Begotten Son (Jesus Christ) that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Lessons Learned From Pandemic
Unexpected Things Happened in Life
In Philippines history as far as I have known, nothing like this pandemic that lasted for almost two years had strucked our country to the worst scenario ever experienced by its citizens. I , for one among the millions of the citizens of our country , never expected such things to happen. It's like a nightmare in your deep and peaceful sleep that troubled you and made you uncomfortable that you wanted to wake up at once to get rid of it. News was spread all over the country about this corona virus (Covid19) in social media. This is to make every concerned individuals to be aware of the impending facts about it and give warnings in order to be prepared for it and take safety precautions. I saw how people panicked on every side. You can see from the people's faces and actions how affected they were of such news. The situation was like a caught in the act situation, a thing not expected to happen but you are there trapped and just waiting for somebody to notice you and extend a helping hand in order to survive. And that was just happened in reality.
Kinds of Responses on Pandemic Situations
People in all walks of life, not only in the Philippines, but globally speaking who were affected, responded to the pandemic situations in different manners. The first reactions of people is to panic. Fears are seen in their faces and actions. Topics of conversations are all about the issues regarding Corona virus (Covid 19). People are in rush going to and fro on supermarkets buying all they could afford to buy as stocks of foods and basic necessities because of the announcement of coming lockdown . Fears, Worries, Anxieties,Negative thoughts filled the hearts and minds if people. Fear of uncertainties in life troubled all people.
Basic Concerns on Pandemic Situations
Economic Concerns is actually the government concern for the country to survive the pandemic situation. The government has all the power and control of it. The citizens of the country is but to obey it's mandate and protocols.
Health Concerns is the real issue of the pandemic situation. So it is the main concern to addressed to , for every life of every citizen in the county is at stake.
Basic Needs Concerns are the most concerns of every individual and family. You can hear some people rants and complains everywhere in communities, and in social media. They say they are more prone to die not in virus but in hunger.
Financial Concerns is needful in order to survive. Basic needs cannot be met without it. And how can one have finances when work is not available due to companies and business establishments wherein people work were closed.
The Effects of Pandemic Situation
The results and it's effects are seen and experienced by everyone, regardless of the status in life or age. The tremendous and painful effects are felt and widely experienced. Loss of loved ones, going through the process treatment itself to those who were sick, the loss of jobs and source of income, the bankruptcy of businesses, the loss of freedom enjoyed, and many personal and private matters not to mention. All these happened within a period of time unexpectedly.
The Means and Helped Availed On Pandemic Situation
The pandemic situation calls for an immediate and emergency help needed. The government did it's best to respond immediately and as soon as possible to health concerns, basic needs concerns , financial needs concerns of the citizens of the country. All government agencies concerned to every needs were utilized to give aid and assistance. The Dept. Of Health, DSWD, working with local government officials with the Barangays to give financial support as well as goods to citizens nation wide .
VACCINE - The Present and Latest Aid Given
Finally , WHO has come up with Vaccines that could prevent people from the virus .The government has availed much of it to be given to the citizens of the country.And many people had already been vaccinated and a lot more have to be vaccinated. By doing so , at least people have somewhat relieved of the many stresses in life brought about by this pandemic.
The Good News - ALERT LEVEL 2
During this month of November 2021, good news was announced that Alert Level 2 is proclaimed to be in effect to NCR and to places in the country where Covid virus cases were low. Normal Activities can now be enjoyed but still need to be observant to health protocols to ensure safety and protection.
In conclusion, I would say, we have only one life to live, and let us live it worthwhile, purposeful and with fear in God , who gave us this life . Life is uncertain, we know not what should happen next, so let us always put our trust in God , believe and hope in Him continually not in this life only but more importantly in the life hereafter. The life here on earth is but temporary, seek the Lord and His guidance as always. Always remember God Loves us more than we know it. He send Jesus Christ to be our Saviour (John 3:16). And believing and accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts , confessing and repenting from our sins,salvation from wrath to come in this world will be ours , and we will also receive the gift eternal life. Jesus is coming soon. We are a day nearer to it. I don't know the exact date but the Bible says Jesus is Coming for sure. Let us be ready for it. And getting ready is here on earth not after the death come to us. It is now while we are still alive and have the time to pray to Him with sincerity in our heart accepting Him as our personal Saviour and Lord of our life. (John 1:12) The word if God is true and God's promises are true and will fulfill it. I hope today will be the day of your salvation . The day to become one in the family of God

My Views About Success
Introduction
There are things in life that people differs in perception. The reason maybe is of the differences due to knowledge and personal experiences encountered , or observed.
What I will be sharing are my personal thoughts about success, the most coveted things in this world by everyone.
Meaning of Success
Success is an attainment, accomplishment or achievement of the most desired thing in life, that this world has to offer. It could have stages , or kinds that can be considered, from simple to varieties or quantities. As life has stages of development so is success. As personalities has different kinds and so with success. Success therefore as an attainment, accomplishment or achievement depends on person's stage of development, and personalities.
Success is a means of Motivation
Success being the end in itself , is also a means of Motivation to anyone. It is the nature of every human being in every walks of life to desire to have success. It is always present in the heart and mind of every individual. The mind directs to fulfill the heart's desire. The mind creates the plans, accdg. to heart's desire and body moves accordingly, and properly motivated.
Means to attain Success
The life within the body that we have and with all the abilities and capabilities endowed to it by God are the basic means to attain Success in life. And being the means it is also the recepient of all it's successes. Every individual has its own abilities and capabilities to be used to make it possible to have success. Anyone can discover it as he make used of it and enhanced it.
How To Attain Success
Success is attained not overnight. It will take some time to have it. To some it might be quite easy but not with others. Success is made possible for those who are focused and truly determined . One might have the means, but lacking focus and determination , results in failure.
Obstacles to the Road of Success
First and foremost, it is ourselves. The battles begins with our mind, heart, and body. When one of it would not cooperate, chances are difficulties, and problems arises. When the mind plans and the heart is motivated by the plans , it won't work when the body does not cooperate due to lack of discipline, or health concerns. The next thing may be our attitudes or behaviour. When things aren't going accdg. to our expectations and plans we are easily discouraged and proned to give up or quit. Fear or lack of confidence that we entertained in our minds distracts us from our focus when not handled right away. Overconfidence on the other hand ruins when it's based on uncertainties and not on realities. The last may be the focus and determination. In the process of the journey to success,when our focus is diverted to the negativities and let it affect us , determination to go on subsides to its lowest level. Not being able to take the risk and be determined to go on forward is cowardice and shortsightedness. Not realizing going back would be a lot longer to take than to move forward which is just a short distance to take near to success.
Firm Decision Has Vital Role To Success
There is a Biblical passage that says : " A Double minded man is unstable in all His ways. And I think to take this into consideration is wise to take, because being double minded is detrimental to having success. Firmness in decision is focus and determination itself. No failure or defeat can overcome the focus and determined person who firmly decides it.
These are all I have to say, and am.glad I did it. I just hope you have found my personal views something to ponder upon.

IT'S WORTH TO TRY
Hello and good evening to everyone.
Read Cash had been noised in noisecash as a platform that has helped them a lot in earnings by means of writing short posts and articles. And one of them encourage me to join. And I said to myself, why not?
And so I signed in and write a short post. The result was not an encouraging one so I stopped.
But I am here again , to try and write. Whatever the outcome, I think I should try and try again
To make my post good, then make good better and better best.
I know it will not take a day or two to make it but maybe a long time
but I am hoping to be sooner, depending of course, how hard I work for it and focused.
So for now, this will just be my coming back post , IT'S WORTH TO TRY .
HOSPITALITY
Hospitality is one of the characteristics of Filipinos and was known of.
Rich or poor alike this characteristics of Filipinos are being shown.
Hospitality is being shown in many ways.
Visitors in the house is being treated as VIP.
They are well entertained, given the best food they can offer , and can afford, or even can't afford , they will find means to have it to offer just for visitors to be satisfied.
In my childhood days I saw how it is done by my parents to our visitors, those friends of my older sisters in school in the city where my sisters studied . It was during their high school and college days, whenever there is an occasion to celebrate like fiesta , and Christmas in our province. These two occasions are the most celebrated occasions in our province those days. And so my parents really did their best to prepare for it. My parents usually take care pigs so as to have something to cook for the occasion. Since we have a piece of land for rice field they would plant rice and glutinous rice and save some harvests for the occasions. My mother was best in cooking rice cakes and dessert like "halaya". And this is what I actually learned from her.
Nowadays , being hospitable is not much like they used to be in the past. Difficulties in life , taught people to be more practical in being hospitable. To those who can really afford, they do it extravagantly, but to low income family, it's not the case, but still hospitable in simple ways they can afford to do.
Situations in life may change, but such characteristics like hospitality instilled in hearts and minds of Filipinos remains rich or poor. It may differ on the manners of showing it, but still hospitality is a marked labelled to Filipinos .
Life is the greatest gift that anyone in this world to receive. No matter how and when this life was given to us by our Creator through which God used for our existence is something to be thankful for, appreciated and cherished all in our whole life.
We should make therefore our life be lived to the best that we can, not only seeking for our own happiness but as well as the happiness of Our Creator and to the persons to whom He has authorized take care of us and be with us in this world we live in.
This life that we have in this world , is but temporary as well as everything in this world. It is the reality in life that we cannot change because , God our Creator meant it to be. God in His goodness, has the best place He prepared , and that is
Heaven , in Eternity, wherein He dwells.
These truths are realities we must keep in our hearts and minds to guide us to live the life we have purposely, & meaningfully and responsibly.
The kind of life we will live here on earth is for us to choose and decide.
We have all the freedom that we have. But we need to use that freedom responsibly. For in this world that we live in, is a place wherein good and evil is present.
But we need not worry about it because God is always with us , and will never leave us nor forsake us. His help and grace is sufficient for us to go through life with God's protection and providence.
All that everyone need is to believe in Him and put His full trust and confidence in Him.
It is God who is our Permanent Companion in Life, from the beginning of our existence in this world till we leave this world to go to Him in heaven to be there till eternity.
This is something to inspire us and motivate us to live responsibly while enjoying life in the bounds of what will please and glorify our Creator.
Christian
The Christian beliefs and practices should be based wholly on the word of God, the Bible. The Bible is the final and complete revelation of God to mankind.
Christian teachings, preachings, values and principles of Christian living should be based from it.
If we regard God, as the True and Living God, who reveals Himself to. Mankind through the Bible , then
we should read it, and let God speaks to us by means of it. And let God do His work in us by the power of His holy word in changing our lives as we by faith in Him humbly
