Yesterday, as i was coming from my shop i kept wondering what am going to eat when i get home, i saw a young girl around 15years old who went around hawking. She was selling vegetables.. i was so drawn to her and i called her, and asked her why she was doing this around past 7. Then she said she live with her two siblings and she has to do it for them to survive in the house. She's an orphan, and her relatives aren't doing anything about them. I was so touched that i dipped my hands into my purse and gave her some money. Helping people around us means alot, no one knows where we would meet in the future. The greatest assest one can achieve in this life is helping the poor. Helping others is not only good for them and a good thing to do, it also makes us happier and healthier too. Giving also connects us to others, creating stronger communities and helping  to build a happier society for everyone. And it's not all about money, we can also give our time, ideas and energy.

Proverbs 14:31 says “He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. Recognize the needy, needy  is someone who is poor, or someone who demands a lot of care or attention. A person in a state of poverty who needs help getting food and finding a place to live is an example of someone who is needy.

Give them support: A good way to help poor  people is to give them a hand or a hug. Give them moral support, show love, respect and make them aware that someone really cares about them. Give them economic support: Ordinary people can help poor people by giving economic support. It is not until you have deep pockets or be rich to help the needy, the poor, the hungry, what it takes is to have a heart of giving... Givers never lack. Strive to understand the poor. The biggest thing that insults poor,disabled, or people who have differences us to be ignored, taken for granted, or, worse, stigmatized. Go places the homeless people go.

There are many benefits of helping the poor. Some people do it because they want to spread smiles, some people do it because they are really worried about helpless people, and some do it to ensure everyone is happy and satisfied with what he has got. Learn to donate old belongings, involve in group volunteering,donate eatables, raise fund, give moral Consolation; One of the better ways to help the poor and needy people is to give them a hand up rather than a hand out.

When we help others we feel happy. There appears to be a direct correlation with overall well-being and giving our time, money or other resources to a cause that we are passionate about.
