What toy or object will you never throw away, even though it's worth nothing?

Well, I’d say “the key to my first apartment.” I was so excited that I was finally able to get an apartment after I graduated. It represented so much more than just a place to live. It was one of those moments where I felt like I was finally starting to figure life out on my own. I’ve kept the key ever since, and I honestly don’t think I could ever throw it away, even if it’s completely useless now.

@imran22

I don’t have any toy or object like that. There isn’t anything I’m that emotionally attached to or love so much that I could never throw it away.

Okay, this is so specific. I have one dusty burger squishy that looks so dirty and worn, but I would not throw it away, even I have no plans to use it. It's inside a little circular container and kept in one of my small cabinets. Honestly, now that I thought of it, I must get it and finally let go. That was a squishy I had back when squishies aren't yet super trendy as they were these days. I loved its texture, it's just the right size, and it's like a mini, not edible…

I have this rubber band that I shaped into a heart, glued onto colored paper, and then wrapped in Scotch tape. Now it’s like a little plastic heart keychain with a rubber band heart inside. I made it like 13 years ago when I was still in college. I dunno why I made it, I just love making things that are not really worth anything 🤣 I’m definitely not throwing it away, but thinking about it now, I haven’t actually seen it in years. I know I kept it somewhere, so now I need to…

Hello, read.cash! These are dried rose petals I have kept for years. They are fragile and faded, still soft around the edges, and stored in a small glass jar. These were roses my husband gave me when we were in our first year of marriage.

@Tooba

For me, it would be an old family photo or a small keepsake. It may have no monetary value, but the memories attached to it make it impossible to throw away. ❤️

@Scarred4Lyfe

If it were truly worth nothing a person would toss it. Perhaps it has no financial value, but 'worth' can mean many things. I have an old (1960's) magnetic phonograph cartridge (fancy term for a record player needle) that was my grandfather's. Not really worth anything, the performance characteristics are way below anything made today - most likely I will never use it - but its 'worth' is determined for me by the many memories it helps bring forth to me.

This bracelet was the very first gift my best friend—my husband—gave me before we got married. ❤️ At that time, he bought it with his pocket money, which was just a small amount, and it was a very simple gift. 🥹💝 It didn’t last very long and eventually got damaged, but it has always been incredibly precious to me. I’ve kept it safely all these years—not because of its value, but because of the love, memories, and emotions attached to it. ❤️✨ Some gifts may be simple, but the…

Used to have alot but while I was away in school my mum gave some away and dispose some The most memorable and special one to me was a shirt we got in secondary school, it's no longer my size but I adore it because I thought I wasn't going to get it back then, that I was going to be the only one left out but out of nowhere someone got it for me. The other item is an old flower frame given to me on my birthday/valentine by my friend who is now my fiancée. It might look…

I don’t have any of my childhood toys anymore, but I do have so many pictures from those precious days. ❤️ I could never throw them away. They may not be worth anything in money, but they hold a lifetime of memories, innocence, and emotions. I truly cherish every single one of them because they remind me of the little girl I once was. 🥹❤️

If I were an object, I would probably be an empty bottle. An empty bottle may not have much value in the eyes of others, and people often throw it away thinking it is useless. But I could never throw it away. To me, it still has value because even when it is empty, it can be useful in many ways. It can hold water, store other things, and serve different purposes. Sometimes, even something that seems worthless can be quite useful. ❤️

Audio cassette player. The people from 90s era know the worth of audio cassette player because it was luxury of those days. It has been obsolete when digital devices invented. I have an audio cassette player which I bought in 1994 , although it didn't work now because audio cassettes are extincted. I am not going to throw it because I have some great memories with it .

@az333

For me, it would be an old childhood toy 🧸❤️ It may be worth nothing, but the memories attached to it are priceless.

@Fujiko27

I would never throw away an old handwritten note, even if it’s just a small piece of paper with a few simple words on it. 📝 It may have no monetary value, but it reminds me of a certain person, moment, and feeling from the past. Some things are priceless simply because of the memories they hold. ❤️

@salvs

What toy or object that I will never throw away even though it's worth nothing ? The toys of my son . I really don't know why I cannot throw the toys even if its already broken . Maybe I can't throw it because my son loves all his toys and he knows all his toys .if there is one missing toy , be ready for endless questions 😅

@charol09 Love & heartbreak

Maybe my husband’s old letters. I still keep them until now, even though they’re probably worth nothing to anyone else. They’re all in one container, from back when we were still dating and just starting our life together. We used to exchange letters, and sometimes I read them again and smile. We could easily write what we felt and say “I love you” without thinking twice. Back then, it was just the two of us. We had more time for each other, no kids yet, and fewer…

@bbghitte

This letter and all the other gifts that my daughter made for me since she was little. I am keeping them forever😊

I will always love playing with "Ghurrandar," which is a scientific toy that can help to restore our stressed mind to a state of relaxed normalcy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGoJLUlde5Q A "Ghurrandar" can be used as a stress-buster. It is also fun. #ghurrandar #scientifictoy #mechanicaltoy #stressbuster #science #engineering #meditatingtoy

@gertu13 My family

I keep a lot of things that belonged to my mother. I can’t throw them away, even if I don’t use them. They mean a lot to me. I have a macramé needle, and I have two knitting needles that my mother used to knit curtains and tablecloths. I have her little thimble, from when she used to sew our clothes. There are so many little things that remind me of her. 😔

@juditka80

I have many such objects in my home. A porcelain doll with a broken leg, a wooden Matryoshka doll my father brought from the former Soviet Union, my mother’s sewing box and her handwritten recipe book, my father’s watch and glasses—I could go on forever. Things that mean nothing to anyone else mean everything to me.

@19Doc.Dude_

May be my mobile phone📱 😅 I am not kid any more time changes and you replace your things with an other. But i think this little device has lot of it I will not throw it at any cost 😄😄

@TLGirl

A gorilla stuffed animal that my late grandfather gave me when i was a child and even though it is ugly and has its nose ripped, i cannot throw it.

@mommy_j0nes

I think this was my baby’s first onesie. Seeing it again brought me back to those days when he was still so tiny and I was still getting used to being a mom. I still remember holding him close, that soft newborn smell, and how everything felt so new, the first time I held him, the first nights together, and all those little moments I wish I could experience again. I didn’t realize how much I would miss this tiny version of him.

@cmoneyspinner When I was a kid

Unfortunately, unlike my big sister, I was a very destructive child. I broke most of my toys. My sister, on the other hand, kept her toys for decades. Dolls, games, card games ... you name it! Me? I'd cut up my dolls' clothes and hair. I'd lose pieces to board games. If it was a toy that needed batteries, I never had batteries to play with it, so I'd throw it somewhere. My childhood memories are of me breaking up my toys. LOL.😂

@mamaemigrante When I was a kid

The last doll I was given at my dad’s workplace. It was a wind-up doll that moved like a baby just waking up. The little sister of a friend of mine at the time wound it up so much that she broke it, but I still have it to this day as a memento of when my father’s employers had already decided I was no longer a little girl (I was 9 years old!).
