What's the story behind your scar?

@Nengste

This scar on my right eyelid came from an accident when I was in high school. My classmates and I were playing luksong baka, a Filipino game where you jump over someone who bends down. When it was my turn to jump, my classmate suddenly lowered her body, so I couldn’t support myself with my hands. I fell, face-first onto the ground and my eye hit a rock. It got cut, and that’s how I ended up with this scar. 😅

@Eybyoung

I have a lot of scars, emotional, mental, physical lol. I can't distinguish which scars weigh more than others. Coz all of them add loads to me mentally. Physically, my biggest scar is via CS when I gave birth. Bringing life cost a lot, and I can't complain since it's my actions that caused it lol.

My biggest scar is the one i wouldn't trade of,and my only major operation,the c section scar where my 3 adorable children came out.All of those operations have different story.My first Cs is unforgettable since it's my first time, everything is new and the pain is surreal.Second one,my oxygen is dropping I am fighting life and death,The third one my scar leaked fats deposit,and it healed slowly,Thanks God I have a good OB-Gyne who took care of me so much.And now my children…

@az333

Every scar has a story. Mine would remind me of a difficult moment that hurt at the time, but also taught me to be stronger and more careful. Now, whenever I see it, I don’t just remember the pain—I remember that I healed and moved forward.

@Bloghound

I have scars, and each one has its own story. There is the scar from my C-section when I gave birth to my only child. I actually lost so much blood back then. Another is the big cut on my left thumb. I was little and tried using my dad's bolo to open a coconut, but I missed and almost cut my thumb instead. And then there are the cigarette burns on my arms. When I was young and did something wrong, my father would punish me by using my arm as an ashtray. Sorry guys, no photo…

@TLGirl

I have a little scar near my eyebrow and it is caused by my cousin when we were young, so one day we were playing in his garden with bamboo canes as swords hehehe and by accident he hit me near my eyebrow causing me a little wound with blood going out, we freaked out as kids and he to cover his mistake and forbidden me to tell our parents, he offerd me an ice-cream with the condition to shut my mouth. I obviously accepted it hehehege but remained with my little scar 😊 I have…

@Daddylan10

I was slicing a mango when the knife slipped and cut my middle finger. The pain was so bad that I panicked and immediately stuck my bleeding finger in my mouth instead of getting a bandage. There i was, standing in the kitchen, bleeding, holding a mango in one hand and sucking on my finger like it was some kind of emergency first-aid procedure. Crazy, right? The mango survived. My finger survived. My dignity? Still missing. #storyscar

Every scar on my body has a story, and this one reminds me of how strong I’ve become. I got this scar from a silly little moment in our backyard. I climbed a tree just to get some fruit, slipped, and ended up getting hurt on the fence. At that time, I thought it was just another accident. I never knew it would become something I’d carry with me. Then there was another one. I was riding my motorcycle when I hit a goat. When I looked up and stood, I was alone on the road,…

@KingsleyP. Dear Diary

I got involved in motorcycle collision. The scar on my kneel always reminds me that I have divine grace to live on. I was rushing to the office with my female friend on the same motorcycle, as we approach a Y-junction, the rider did not notice on time that another bike is approaching the Y-junction as well from the left opposite direction with high speed. Before I could shout at him to look up, I heard ghasss, and I was thrown from the back seat to the far front and landed…

@mamaemigrante When I was a kid

When I was still very young, I didn’t have any freckles on my face, but one day, my mom saw a tiny spot that looked like a pimple (I was 6 years old!) and decided to squeeze it so it wouldn’t ruin my face, but nothing came out, and she kept trying for several days, until she started to notice that those spots were beginning to appear all over the rest of my body. It turned out to be the first of many lesions caused by chickenpox, which looked awful at first but, fortunately,…

I was involved in a road accident. I was in such a low point in my life when it happened. Rent was due and my landlady was on my neck to pay up. My bank account was empty and the company I worked for then had months of my earnings with them that they refused to turn in. I managed to gather half of the money and on my way to the bank to make the payment, consumed by thoughts, I didn't notice the minibus racing one-way down the lane I was trying to cross. And next thing, I was…

@farzanaNafees

There is a very long story behind the scar on my hand. ❤️ I suddenly felt a severe jerk in my hand, so I went to a local practitioner. He massaged my hand and bandaged it. I kept the bandage on for almost a month and had it changed every day, but my hand didn’t get any better. Finally, I went to the hospital, where an X-ray revealed that the bone had been damaged. Unfortunately, the massage had made the condition worse. I had to undergo surgery, and because part of the bone…

@Nathan6692

It was a long time ago. There was a girl who I really loved, but she didn't love me. She broke my heart, and even now, the scars are still there.🥺

@Duvinca

Uff hard question......... Some small scar playing in the swimming pool, that the happy one and almost gone. And some few others that were filled with the pain of living certain moments.

@Nadeen

When I was 17, I had to drop out of college because my parents couldn't afford it, so I took a job as a nanny in town caring for a one-year-old; one morning, while rushing to boil water for his bath, his sudden crying startled me, causing me to accidentally spill the boiling water onto my ankle—a mistake that left permanent scars that still make me too self-conscious to wear shorts today.

@Paciano

My mom used to keep the cookies high up in a large, colorful jar so they wouldn't run out, and when I tried to get the jar while she wasn't around, it was so heavy and it fell right on my lip, causing a deep cut. It healed over time, but it's quite noticeable up close, and that's why I hate colorful jars. 😂😂😂😂😂

@Myt.24

‎My scar was from my childhood. When we were kids, we used to have a bamboo bridge at home. We loved running across it. Not until I stumbled and fell onto a sharp edge. Ouch! 🥲 It left me with a scar that I still carry to this day. [image 1]‎

I have several scars, I have two "memorable" ones. One on my thumb, which I got when I was in first grade, and the other one on my knee, which I got when I was in fourth grade. The thumb one was due to a small part of my flesh tearing open because of electrocution. I climbed a metal fence and played with a light bulb still attached to the socket. That bulb was put there because my parents know if it's any lower, I could just grab a chair and play with it. They didn't realize…

@nafees777

It happened about five years ago. I was cutting meat at home when the knife I was using, which was quite large, accidentally slipped and cut my hand. The wound was quite deep, and there was a lot of bleeding at the time. The accident eventually passed, but the scar on my hand still reminds me of that moment. Sometimes, a small scar on the body carries an entire story behind it.

In mid of 80s , people mostly keep clay pots to store water for drinking at home. So my family too have such clay pots. I was at age 6 or 7 that one day I feel thirst and asked to Mom for water . She was busy in talking with a guest and may she didn't listen what I say . I climbed up to wooden stand on which we keep clay pots ( 3 feet tall almost) . There was only one clay pot available at that time where the stand was capable of two. I climbed up that side where pot was ,…

@Mishiel

There are many stories behind my scars—from dog bites and childhood games, from wandering through the wild, and, of course, from climbing trees. These are scars I am not ashamed of, for they symbolize the happy experiences of my childhood.

@mhel_dita

Thinking about it I do not have visible scars. I remember when I was young my mom keep on telling me that they love me so much that they not allow mosquitos near me. Now having that thought, I can say that the scar that I have is the scar that will never see but to be felt. Because that scar is in my heart that will never heal when my mom died almost 4 years ago. And that scar still give me pain everytime that I will think of my mom. Coz my mom maybe not perfect but she was…

@gertu13 Hard times

Physically, I have only one scar—the one from my C-section. In my heart, I carry many scars. Some are fainter than others. I just try not to touch them so they don't become sensitive.

@salvs

This scar reminds me of how mischievous and adventurous I was as a child. When I was little, I loved playing with the water from the faucet. That faucet was located in a big hole surrounded by rocks and corals. Since I was still too small to climb down there, I reached for the faucet instead. I lost my balance, fell, and my forehead hit a rock. 😅 This little scar has been with me ever since, reminding me of one of my childhood adventures. ❤️

@Lunayol

I have a scar that is undoubtedly the most beautiful one I have; it represents love and happiness, because it’s the scar from my C-section. I had my children by C-section both were born that way—so it’s the most beautiful scar I have because of its meaning of life and love, and I wear it with pride.

@Vickaboleyn

This one is more of a mark than a scar... A birth mark, because I don't remember how I got it. I aknowledge it since my teen years, when I was in high school. Maybe one day I would learn what is it. Maybe not.

@abraxas

Heh, I stuck my hand in boiling hot water to try to grab scissors in a pinch while I was at work back in my fast food days... Didn't get the scissors, but I got a pretty gnarly scar out of it. It's not nearly as pronounced as it used to be.

@bbghitte

My scar signifies my love for my daughter, it shows how great it is to give a life to someone you treasure the most. A scar of life, my birth scar.

@RaemaKhan

When I was a child, I got quite a few injuries and wounds because of my silly little adventures. 😅 Some of them healed completely, while others left scars behind. I remember one time I was playing and suddenly stood up, accidentally hitting my head very hard against the corner of a table. The wound was quite deep, and although it eventually healed, it left a scar that I still have today...

@Alther

Honestly, there’s more to them than just physical scars. There are losses, regrets, and stories behind them—some things are just too hard to put into words. I guess they’re simply part of the journey.

@HappyBoy Dear Diary

I rented a bike and tried to learn how to ride it without any guidance. The bicycle went down a hill while I kept shouting instead of pressing the break (I can't remember, I think it had no break) or placing my legs down to slow down it acceleration. I fell with the bicycle and got injured close to my ankle. It healed but the scar remains.

@Scarred4Lyfe

A woman that 1) slept with my best friend (but of course no sleeping was involved) and 2) spent our second wedding anniversary in a motel with the dope man (while I sat home with our son and daughter) and they didn't sleep either... Oh, PHYSICAL scars...well the one on the back of my left hand is from the bite of a brown recluse spider. It had decided to spend winter in the sleeve of a jacket I grabbed in the garage and didn't care for me thrusting my arm through the sleeve.

@shiza

There’s no dramatic story behind my scar. It’s a reminder of people’s selfishness, changing attitudes, and the pain they can cause when you trust them too much. Some scars are not just left on the skin—they’re lessons you carry for life.
