What I cooked

A meal that actually happened and how you made it — what you cooked, what went wrong, what it cost, and the full ingredients-and-method if you want to write it out. Family dishes, street food, tonight's dinner.

@Ellehcim What I cooked

A wonderful breakfast made by my brother. Among the three of us, he is the best cook and he enjoys doing it the most. I am not fond of cooking, and so is my sister 🤣 You can count on me for the dishes, though. It's mostly our parents who does the cooking, as the three of us are working. So when brother does this, it's helpful for mama and papa. 💗

@Fujiko27 What I cooked

My little homemade bread! 🥖✨ I’m honestly proud of how it turned out. There’s a different kind of happiness when you get to enjoy something you made from scratch. Warm, soft, and freshly baked—definitely worth the effort! ❤️

@cmoneyspinner What I cooked

Watched a food-themed K-drama and the chef insisted that Gochujang had to be added to the bowl of rice to make it flavorful. Then I watched a short cooking video, and the person said their daily quick go-to meal was a bowl of rice with spicy Korean tuna. Korean tuna? 😲 What's that? So I looked it up, and basically it's tuna flavored with Gochujang. I'm like, there's that Gochujang again!😳 However, spicy Korean tuna is kind of expensive. But it so happens I have lots of…

People say you have to keep your emotions in check, and I agree to a certain extent. But I also think that sometimes we should let those emotions guide us and do what we need or want to do right when we want to. I don’t know if this is just the case in my house, but we usually have the tastier or more expensive meals—so to speak—on the weekends. During the week, we cook something more traditional and more economical. But this time, I was craving rib steaks with onions, and…

Good morning! Breakfast muna kami today. We only have pancit and biko, nothing fancy, but it’s already enough to make us happy. As a mom, even with all the chores and taking care of the kids, it feels good when you see your family enjoying the food you prepared. Simple meals, little moments, and eating together — these are the blessings I always treasure. Let’s eat!

@Amjad_Ali_Waince What I cooked

I am a person who never refuse any food mostly and I am living far away from sea but still live to have fish , prawn, shrimps on my dining table. But I will refuse lobster, no matter how it is cooked. Because once I tried which gave me a very bad experience.

@Eirolfeam2 What I cooked

Had 5 pieces of boiled eggs topped with kimchi for breakfast, shared with my bf. Hehe! I boiled them last Tuesday so I said we should finish them all now before it gets bad. 😋 We paired this with baguette drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with Himalayan salt and a cup of black coffee on the side. Good food to start the day! ☕😜

@Scenica What I cooked

Saturday morning, so might as well enjoy a little good food. Nothing fancy, just something crispy and a good sawsawan on the side. 😂 Sometimes simple food is all you need to make the weekend feel a little better. No work for now, so I’m just enjoying the morning and taking it easy. A little food trip before the usual weekend chores start. Happy Saturday, everyone!

Done prepping my smoothie for next week. I'll store it in the freezer and take one out every workday. Ehe 😋 Since my client gave me a fruit smoothie as energy booster, it has been my favorite drink and evening snack-ish since I started making my own, with simple ingredients like Greek yogurt, banana, strawberry or raspberry, mango, and a little bit of lemon juice, topped with chia seeds and sunflower seeds. Basically just a mix of everything. 😂😋

@gertu13 What I cooked

Yesterday I cooked pork chops with rice, vegetables, and fried plantains. I marinate the pork chop with spices that I’ve gradually learned to grow and prepare: turmeric, ginger, garlic, chili peppers, oregano, and black pepper, which I buy. Mixing all of these together gives my meat its flavor. I added diced potatoes and sweet corn to the rice. I cook the plantains in the air fryer for 15 minutes on high. I like to get creative in the kitchen, and I often don’t follow…

The very last meal I cooked was chicken Chowmein in Nepali style. A very simple step-by-step recipe by a popular YouTuber taught me how to master the high-heat stirring method that is commonly used for fried food so I could throw together very tender chicken parts, crisp veggies, and chewy noodles all cooked together with very spicy, fragrant spices that are traditional to the local area to get that real street-food taste in the comfort of my own home.

@Mariagioia00 What I cooked

The last thing I cooked? Hmm… it’s been a while! 😂 My schedule has been so busy lately that cooking has unfortunately taken a back seat. But if I remember correctly, the last thing I made was nilagang pork with lots of vegetables. 🥩🥬🥔🥕 As for the recipe… I honestly have no idea where it originated. 😂 It’s one of those typical Filipino dishes that I learned just by watching and eating at home. No fancy recipe, no Google—just “lagay lang lahat sa kaldero and hope for the…

@Lazysnail What I cooked

Funny thing is, I woke up at 7:00 AM today. 30 minutes later than my usual wake-up time. I had to rush because I needed to prepare for work at 8:00 AM. What I did was grab three eggs, boil them while I was taking a shower, and then after I finished, I smashed the eggs with pepper and mayonnaise. I ate my egg sandwich while commuting to work. Luckily, I wasn’t late! HAHAHAHA

@TheMage What I cooked

toasted plain bagel with some kinda spiced cream cheese. no recipe no thought only bagel , spicy cheese and a toaster. I love to cook for others generally good at it. for myself however? I just do whatever. eat the trash am unholy raccoon brained wizard.

@Scarred4Lyfe What I cooked

I am still a relative novice to this entire chicken breasts cooked in an air fryer thing - this is my third effort - but wow, I'm quickly becoming a convert. And to think I almost at one point got rid of the air fryer...then I figured out how to fry stuff other than air.

@Eirolfeam2 What I cooked

How do you eat your eggs? 🐣🥚 Learned about this boiled egg plus kimchi combo and it’s been my favorite way of eating my eggs lol 😂 It’s good for a quick breakfast, lunch, or even for snacks and easy source of protein too. 😋

@Fujiko27 What I cooked

For me, it’s chicken adobo. 😄 I don’t even need to measure anything anymore—just chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, and a little bit of sugar. I can cook it while doing other things because I already know the smell, color, and taste I’m looking for. It’s one of those meals that somehow always feels comforting, especially with a hot bowl of rice.

I really like eating chickpeas with pig's trotters. This one turned out really tasty. I'm setting aside a portion to share with my niece—she likes them, too. What about you? What do you like to eat with pig's trotters?

THE MEAL I COOK AUTOPILOT. My Only Autopilot Meal: Noodles. It's only noodles that I cook on autopilot. It's the only meal because I don't need to do much. I just get my noodles from the shop — two or three packets. I get water, put it to boil, put my noodles in there. Then I sit and play games on my laptop. I just wait. After that, I go, I pour out the water, and then I eat. That's the only meal I do on autopilot. I don't think there's any other meal like that, because for…

@Asiandreamer What I cooked

Fried egg and instant noodles. My brain clocks out and my hands take over. Sometimes naman tuna and rice. Open can, mix , eat. My recipe book is basically a user manual. Lol! Tell me yours. #happySunday

@gertu13 What I cooked

I cook everything without a recipe. Some dishes turn out really well, others aren't as tasty, and very rarely, I mess up big time. When I do cook from a recipe, I never follow it exactly to the letter, because I love to get creative with my food.

@Julsijuls What I cooked

Very no thinking? Scrambled eggs. Used to think of it but now autopilot? Spaghetti. 🍴 For scrambled eggs, you just slice up your spices and bits of veggies, stir fry, season, add beaten up ages, then done. Spaghetti? It's a longer process. I can do the cooking process better than explaining the process through text hahaha!

@ms.cheng What I cooked

Adobo! 😂 It’s probably the easiest dish I can cook on autopilot—no recipe, no measuring, and definitely no thinking required. I just throw everything together, and somehow the right ingredients and flavors just pop into my head. It’s one of those dishes I can cook even when I’m tired or half-asleep! 😆

@tiredmomma What I cooked

Dinner is getting ready! Just waiting on the gravy to go with it. 😋 The kids absolutely love this Turkish dessert! And no, it’s not an omelette, lol. 😂 Requested by the kids—ribs with rice! No utensils needed for this one. Just dig in and get those fingers nice and messy. Finger-lickin’ good! 😋🍖🍚

@charol09 What I cooked

I decided to make some classic donuts earlier today. I was already thinking about what snack I could prepare for my family when I heard the rain getting heavier outside. The weather was so gloomy and cold, so I thought, why not make something warm and sweet? After a little work in the kitchen, the donuts were finally ready. The rain is still pouring outside, and honestly, it makes the donuts taste even better.

Today’s Homemade Pakora Curry 🍛❤️ Today I made Pakora Curry at home, and honestly, it turned out so delicious! 😋 There’s something special about homemade food. Even a simple traditional dish can make the whole day feel better. The pakoras soaked in that creamy, flavorful curry were just perfect. 🤤 What homemade Pakistani dish do you enjoy the most? 🌸

@Glimmer22 What I cooked

Garlic pork mushroom 🍄 the dish is savory, meaty, earthy, slightly sweet, and very aromatic. The mushroom adds depth, the pork provides richness, and the Garlic brings sweetness.😋😋
