Today is a weekend and my parents are home this week so we went out on a rare family dinner. This is a treat of me and my sisters to our parents. This is just a way to let them know that we appreciate all their sacrifices to help us get where we are today. The food is great for its price and we are really full at the end of the night.

I have a macramé needle, and I have two knitting needles that my mother used to knit curtains and tablecloths. I have her little thimble, from when she used to sew our clothes. The oldest thing I have is a ceramic jar brought from my mother's maternal grandfather's house. It was originally bought in Kolkata during the British era. My grandmother's father used to work in Kolkata and brought some ceramic items back to Bangladesh from there. I had asked my grandmother for that ceramic jar, and she gave it to me. I am attaching a picture of that jar which I have with me. This is the oldest thing I own.
