The misconception with Youtube or Twitter is that you are free to say what you like without any consequences. The thing is, Youtube and Twitter must also abide by the law. If they employ people, they have legal obligations, therefore there will be things that are unacceptable to them. You cannot have a business and expect to just walk all over the law. It doesn't matter how big you are. The concept of free speech is great, but is it applicable in today's business environment? If we want change, we have to find better ways to balance free speech with people's rights. If both things are important to us, we need to have more discussions and rethink the direction we're heading in. Just a thought.
