We counted THREE fluffy puffy owlets in the nest when we walked by the tree this evening. Even better, we got to see both parents hanging out in the trees across the street from their nest. It's been at least a couple of years since we've seen them both at the same time so that was a nice treat. The owlets are probably around 3-4 weeks old at this point; they've developed enough that Mama doesn't have to constantly brood them, but they don't seem to be quite old enough to be venturing up above the nest yet.
