@yukimori more from that month

If it's not one thing, it's another. πŸ˜” I sat down today to start making the transition from my 2021 budget file to the new 2022 version. As soon as I woke my laptop, the screen started flickering. It only happens at certain angles, and only when the laptop itself is physically jostled, so it's probably an issue with the cable that powers the screen rather than an issue with the screen itself. The downside is that the screen assembly on this model is non-serviceable by the average person because the digitizer and the LCD assembly are held together with really strong adhesive, and the videos I've been able to find strongly advocate replacing the entire screen assembly just because it's so easy to potentially damage one or the other when trying to separate them. None of them continue past the point of detaching the screen assembly at the hinges (which I shouldn't have to do), so I'll probably have to disassemble it later and see if the side of the cable that connects to the LCD is even accessible under the screen cover. Fingers crossed that it is and I can get away with the $15 repair. 🀞
