No new owl pics this morning, but this is the view from Walmart. It's verging on apocalyptic in town today with the way the plume from the Crooks Fire settled overnight, complete with falling ash. One of my kids is staying home from school because of the smoke. It would be both of them but the other is off on an overnight camping trip about an hour away where they shouldn't be affected by it. I hope things clear up a bit before tomorrow's outdoor talent show.
