What a difference a day and a half has made! Vrtra slept atop his rock last night, and this morning I woke up to him scrape-thumping down off it to munch on his salad. He made a mess of things after, and wasn't too sure what he thought about the paper towel I was using to sanitize the glass after cleaning it up. I got a full black bearded puff pancake hissy fit for my efforts! 😆 Once he chased me and my paper towel off he climbed back up on the rock and sat there bobbing his head at me to make sure I know who's boss. He's been back and forth a bit more, too, checking out the view of outside and inspecting the new hammock I hung for him. I do still need to get him in to see the vet, but he's bouncing back fabulously. It's like he's a completely different dragon than the one I brought home Thursday.
