Have you ever heard of kindness rocks? They're rocks that artists paint and then hide for others in their community to find. If you find a rock, you can hide it again for someone else to find, or you can keep it and paint one of your own to hide in its place. A lot of areas have groups of artists on Facebook or other social media who share their work and post hints showing where they've hidden their rocks. The rock on the left in the picture below is the first rock I ever found, which was hidden right in my yard. The one on the right is my most recent find, which I spotted in front of the dollar store this morning. Any and all owl rocks are automatically keepers for us because my youngest is utterly obsessed with them. 😁
