We spent the afternoon at the lake today. We saw lots of wildlife while we were there, but this encounter with a fence lizard was easily my favorite of the day. She was basking on a rock when we walked up, and didn't seem too bothered by how close my daughter got to her. In fact, she wasn't even perturbed when my daughter started reaching out to poke her... until suddenly she WAS, and then she was outta there. 🤣
