A couple of today's owl family portraits. The parents look like they're glaring at me, but those looks were actually for a couple of cars that went by just before I snapped those shots. They were completely unconcerned with my presence there. 😊

Is it true that they're asleep in morning and awake at night?
It is! They're a lot more sleepy when we observe them in the morning than they are when we come by in the evening. When we used to live on the same street their tree is on we could hear them hooting back and forth to each other all night from the trees around us. 🙂
