Brazil is set to be the next country to allow Bitcoin to be used as legal tender Following hot on the heels of El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin, Brazil is preparing to vote on its own cryptocurrency regulation bill in the coming days. Brazil’s Federal Deputy Aureo Ribeiro revealed he wants citizens to be able to buy houses, cars and even a McDonald’s burger with Bitcoin. “We want to separate the wheat from the chaff, create regulations so that you can trade, know where you’re buying and know who you’re dealing with,” Ribeiro said. With the Central Bank as well as the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil on board, Aureo Ribeiro is confident this bill will pass with widespread government support. If the bill does get approval, Brazil sees this as a stepping stone for other countries in South America to copy their regulatory model. #BitcoinCash
