Do you have an old gaming pc? What hardware do you have access to?
yes I have one, I have to review it, but i think can work...
Disconnect the hard drive and see if it boots up and posts. You don't need to go through the AGONY of getting windows installed and configured and patched. Sign up for HIVEOS: https://hiveos.farm/ Download HIVEOS img file: https://download.hiveos.farm/latest/ Burn img file to USB thumb drive using Etcher: https://www.balena.io/etcher/ Put thumbdrive in PC and see if it boots HIVEOS and can see a GPU If all that works.. you could mine something.
wow! really cool! I'll try it! thanks a lot! :)
If it has a decent CPU that can mine things as well....essentially if you can find free POWER you can mine for pure profit.
How can i get free POWER for an old pc computer? are there any not expensive solution for this?
"Power" as in pay for electricity. Not the powersupply.
yes yes! I understand you... I was thinking in any solar panel solution or similar for this kind of things... I'm only asking... :)
as you asked me before, I have an old pc with and old graphic card, I think it was an ATI card if I'm not wrong. I don't know if it good enough. Maybe it's a 15 years old pc or older... but to try... maybe it works... :)
"15 years old pc or older" Oh.. that sounds very old. Better to fix up and sell to student for webbrowsing OS and use money to purchase a GPU for mining.
What's the minimum budget to do mining? I mean, to buy a system to mining...
You could pick this up for 100 USD: https://www.fasttech.com/product/9737198?sscid=41k5_hblws And power it with this for 120 USD https://nerdgearz.com/collections/power-supplies/products/1200w-hp-server-psu-mining-bundle?variant=28841289547824 Then beg family and friends to help you find GPUS that have at least 4GB of video memory ( NVIDIA 1050 ti, AMD - RX 470 ) and add them as you can find them. Hope that helps!
thxs very much mate! I'm on it! :)
