Really, why did you buy your phone for?
We all have phones, right? some of us might even have even other gadgets that can communicate and do stuff that phones can do. Let's say some of us has phones and a tablet or a laptop and even desktops at home. But let me ask you what is the main reason you bought all those gadgets for? For communication? For entertainment? Well, I'll leave to you the answer. As for me, I have a Samsung J2core phone which I usually leave at home because the company that I work with has let me borrowed a Huawei Y9s phone. The latter is faster due to its high RAM and ROM capacity and It came with the postpaid plan that made me save buying loads for my communications. But honestly, I was very careful of the phone in handling and usage. I'm afraid I would be charged with its value, which I think is still above 10k. The real reason why I bought my Samsung J2core two years ago is for my communications with my husband. In our boyfriend/girlfriend time, we only had those keypad phones and texted every time we had the chance. Now that messenger can be used in texting for free, we thought we should upgrade a little. I also convince him to buy the phone to record the growth of our children so we could have photos to looks back at when we are a little older. But too bad one day when my husband came from his work, his bag is full that time, he had put the phone in the same place as his tools. It got squeezed and broke the rear camera. I felt so bad that time. We sacrificed a lot to buy the phone, paying for it for three long months and it broke in just a blink of an eye. He said he was sorry and me getting angry about it will not make things better. But honestly, I slept with a heavy heart that night. We had our second child and got little savings, so we bought Huawei Y6pro ( but mind you, we did not buy it in cash, we can't afford it. My co-worker had a credit card and she let us use it. The phone is to be paid for three months in zero interest, a good deal, Isn't it?) My husband then used it to communicate with me. Well, that's what he said and what happened in the beginning. The phone came with a Smart sim which has a free 1 gig daily allowance for one month. There he installed many games and applications to be entertained with. He installs games and spending so much time on them, then when he has enough of it he uninstalls it and installs a new game. He even installed a video editing app but then got bored about it and uninstalled it later. Good thing he lets me borrow his phone so I could take pictures of my crochet works. But since I could not borrow his phone when I'm at work, I lost many of those chances. I have been dreaming of having my own phone. Not borrowed, not given, but a phone that I bought from all my hard works. it's good to have something that is yours from your hard work right? But since we still have some things that are more important to spend, I patiently and silently waited for the moment to come. Then came this Huawei y9s. I was very shy to use this at first but since the pandemic and my boss ordered us not to borrow anyones' phone nor to let alone borrow our phone to avoid contamination, I then used it on this site, and noise.cash as well. I had it installed some apps so I could order things easily online to sell to my co-workers and some wallet apps too. Before I knew this platform, I have been using this phone to watch crochet tutorials too, and record myself doing my projects. The phone has been my helper in letting people know that I crochet too, and in that, I am learning by having my orders. In short, this phone has been my business partner. At first, the reason that I wanted to buy a phone is just to take photos of my kids every day, but the thing is not possible. I had three kids and I rather tend with them than hold the phone and let them pose as they were so taken care of by me. Another reason is to communicate with my husband. Bus since he now has his small business and had been very busy, I never can call him a lot now. Sometimes I would call him and he asks me to put the phone down because he is still doing something. I had lesser time watching youtube tutorials too. Since I get sick after each crochet project due to lack of sleep and sometimes overwork, I had decided that I would only now crochet for fun and will not be accepting MTOs anymore. Knowing read.cash and noise.cash made me change my perception and views on having a phone. The phone is not just for entertainment and fun, wasting all the time in those useless apps and sites(I call it useless because I can't have something good I return if I visit the site). Wasting money on buying data packages, wasting eyes, and overworking them. And oh, before I forget, the pandemic has brought modules and online classes that made the students demand phones with higher specifications and data packages with faster connections. But believe me, students are using it for entertainment and game playing too. Social media now is full of videos and images of the younger generations dancing on TikTok, wearing short garments, and neglecting modesty. They are so in for the trend, not even thinking what good it will bring them. Looking up for the people who have the most viewers and had been trending on social media, dreaming they too had the same. I have been seeing kids dancing everywhere having no shame if anyone might have seen them. Some kids that I knew also spend so much money time and effort in winning Mobile Legend games, some are even shouting and cursing when they get lost. Kids don't even do their chores because they have been so busy playing, and this all is the reality. Well let me end this here now, I'm afraid I could be going anywhere if I will still continue writing. Have a good day you all. Lead image from dreamstime.com
