My Best and Largest Project so Far So here's my story. I was a high school kid when I first met crochet, there and then I fell in love with it. Even though I did not have the chance to hold the yarn ad hook that day, I later bought hooks in the Textile Department in Gaisano City Mall. I only know how to chain that time, forming things and frogging due to my dissatisfaction with my creation. I got frustrated and forgot about it. Years went by so fast and I got a job in Mega Farm, a livestock company whose office is inside the vicinity of Cagayan do Oro City's Slaughter plant. It was not long when I got used to my job. I got bored and searched the internet about "gantsilyo" and here is the start of my real crochet journey. My best creation was this Virus Shawl, made of 8-ply Fine cotton gradient yarn and a 3mm generic crochet hook, the first set of hooks that I owned.

At first, I was hesitant to do the project thinking it was so big, how can I even finish it? I'm also afraid of using the yarn, it was too beautiful to use. ( haha this is just me being a keeper).

This yarn was given to me by Miss Lourdes Baday, a crocheter I also met on Facebook. She lives in Baloy, Cagayan de Oro, and one day she gave me a lot of yarns. One day I started the project, of course with the help and encouragement of my husband. He watches videos while I crochet, and making me coffee. I crochet fast, excited of the color change, I took a picture and sent it to my husband

I'm so excited every time there would be color changes. If only I have a good camera that time I would have taken pictures of every mile step of my project; these were just some of the photos I took using a borrowed cellphone and asked the owner to send it to me.

look how lovely the color change is. I so loved this part of my project.I always carry my project wherever I go, at night, after putting the kids to sleep, I would crochet until midnight. My husband took this photo and bragged it to his friends.

Just like magic and I'm almost done. I cant wait to see the whole project so I asked my husband to take a photo of me holding the shawl.At work, I eat my lunch fast so I could crochet in my free time. The office was so noisy that time, I got pissed and went my way to the vacant Admin building. I put my project to the stair case railings and took a good photo of it.

Here is me, at our house wearing the shawl. One fine day, I finished my shawl and immediately took a picture. I tried doing any post that I can do for I am bad at posing.

I brought the shawl at home and showed it to my husband, and he took this photo of me and the shawl the next morning.

My assumptions were wrong. I finished this shawl for less than three weeks, and enjoyed every step of the way. Thanks for stopping by. Good day!
