Will we wave in the future? Shaking hands with each other is now a challenge that few do, and I include myself in that group that refuses to shake hands "the old-fashioned way" in view of the fact that, potentially, many diseases are transmitted through hand-to-hand contact, and contact with contaminated objects. In the photograph we look at a hand isolated in a frame (it is my hand), as if it is a hand that will be isolated until the world becomes a slightly safer place again.

Well I surely hope so. Despite the challenges that we face today, I'm still hoping for a better tomorrow. And you're right to avoid handshakes for the time being. It's the most efficient way for a disease to be transmitted so we have to stay away from that for now.
Although I keep my distance to say hello, I always do it with a smile, looking into the eyes and a lot of courtesy. It is important to let the person we greet know that it is a pleasure to greet them. Thanks for your comment, (and I also hope tomorrow will be a better day).
Yep, I do that too. And I always say thank you for the supermarkets staff that's helping me with the grocery sometimes. And yeah, I'd always smile behind my mask though they couldn't see it.
