Russia returns 180 degrees to change its banning position to accepting digital currencies in long term. The move has made the US a bit nervous. While the US Treasury Department says digital assets undermine sanctions implies that digital assets have post-national security concerns.

Some people may believe that cryptocurrencies are a financial weapon to avoid financial sanctions like the US Treasury Department’s thoughts. I think crypto did not have the capability to destroy the current financial system but makes people think about how we can improve the current system and makes it better.

With a cryptocurrency competing with fiat currency, it creates an opportunity for fiat currency to change. Unlike the fiat currency which has been dominated for centuries, it pushes fiat currency to change to become a better system to serve everyone but not just who controlled the power.

By choosing crypto, you choose to believe in a decentralized future in which a third party is not necessarily needed to service during the transaction. However, it is not the future that we have to choose this route and abandon the other because there are also possibilities of better technology of money that introduced to outpace crypto. We just don’t know what the future will be like.

What the fiat system taught us in the past was a single-minded person to become dominant and force people to follow. Such a model has not long applied into the future. People can freely choose their future and anticipate with.
