Personally, I needed to go to share regularly. For the reason that I have to straighten out myself every now and then.
Through the power of The Words delivered through the pastor or the priest I get soaked in goodness and I come out with renewed heart and spirit.
I also needed to spiritual guidance throughout the week so it was recommended that our leaders will monitor us.
Ever since I restored my faith in going to church, we have always been followed up by those who disciple us. They led us to where we should be trudging.
We attended meetings and cell groups and we were also encouraged to attend a conference.
Last week we attended the conference.
Let me just share the following things that I learned. I won’t elaborate much because if I try to elaborate I notice I deviate away. I guess I needed more practice.
· We always have to humble ourselves wherever we go. The lesson here is that, when we are asking for something, we should always be humble. The reward here is to be able to receive what we are asking. We should also have a pure motive.
· Put God First.
· Make wise choices. We have to let go of things that bind our minds. We allow our conscience to speak to us.
· Sexuality is a gift from God. This is a fun and amusing recreation that produces happiness for couples. Wife should submit to husband. Husband should love his wife. Couples should be transparent with each other. They should share stories. On the other hand, sex is very important to men while affection for women. Whatever are aroused through touching will be enough for the love making. It means that love must be aroused and not lust. The master role of wife is to win the husband. The couple must let go of emotional pressure. Avoid complaining. Remove resentment. Have the correct view of ourselves.
· A wife should be of noble character.
· You cannot give what you don’t have. Heal your heart first. Forgive so you will not be exploited.
· Never ever gossip!
· Build bridges of communication to children. Strengthen bonds with children. No to favoritism, comparison, abandonment, divorce, sexual abuse, physical abuse, verbal abuse, lack of affection, lack of communication. Don’t reject children. Rejection leads to depression. Restoration can only be done thru Christ.
· Signs that we are under a curse: mental/emotional breakdown, repeated or chronic illness, involuntary miscarriage, marriage breakdowns and enmity between relatives, constant financial insufficiency or lack of financial, prone to accidents, history of suicides in the family or deaths not by natural means. We have to break the curse! Identify the existence of a curse, identify the curse. Forgive. Repent. Submit to the person whom He is using to deliver you. Ask the holy spirit for guidance.
· Win souls and make disciples.
· Believe that we are bound to prosper. Change the mindset. Plant a precious see. Plant your seeds on good ground. Let your seeds die. Water your seeds. Expect the harvest with childlike faith. Learn to wait for the harvest.
· He is the Lord of breakthrough. Believe Him, do not believe the famine. Do not live in your own understanding. Keep pressing on till your full breakthrough. Perseverance is the key to breakthrough.
· There are reasons when we are healed longer than supposedly. It is because of our stubbornness. Person may not know how to come back. Many are ungrateful.
· Have a thankful living. Be careful when you get rich. Remember your humble beginnings. Don’t forget Him, the source of everything.
